Disconnecting & taking out old unserviceable existing cable of any size

Supply, laying, jointing, connecting, testing & commissioning UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured electric power cable (heavy duty 1100 volts grade with standard aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 120 sqmm x 3.5 core along including appropritate thimble/lux all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE - (a). The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of arranging respective shutdown, disconnection of cables, commissioning of feeder after the completion of job and inclusive of any minor spares and jobs required for the completion of the job. (c). The cost of excavation, returning, filling, removal and PCC cable covers will be measured and paid under relevant items of this schedule.

Description all as per ser item No 2 here-in-before but size of LT under ground cable 16 sqmm 3.5 core.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose/hard soil n exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out including forming bottom to required level or slope for laying pipes / laying of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in soft / loose soil in trenches including spreading, leveling and well ramming in 25 cm thick layers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance n exc in 50 m and deposited where directed at a level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour sand cushioning (dry river sand) to underground cable for cable protection 23 cm thick in two layers (8 cm thick before laying of cables and 15 cm thick after laying the cable and punning down the sand to 18 cm thickness.). Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- Only punned thickness 18 cm of sand shall be measured for payment purposes).

M&L precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1 with peak, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for galvanized iron tubing size 100 mm bore (Light grade) with all necessary fittings laid in trenches under road crossing or fixed on poles / walls / under floors for cable protectioncomplete all as specfied and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning factory made LT feeder pillar box Outdoor type platform mounted, suitable for 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire, 50 Hz AC supply system fixed at a hight of 2 Ft from ground lavel all as specified and directed having bus bar installed on DMC/Epoxy insulators. The panel shall be dust and vermin proof, IP-65 class protection and made of 3.15 mm CRCA MS sheet with front opening type with double door shutter and locking arrangement (including provn of lock with 2 keys), powder coated finish (over a coat of red oxide), primer on outside and two coats of red oxide primer on inside surface with TPN aluminium bus bar of rating not less than 200Amps on suitable foundation with Including : Incommer : MCCB 63 Amp -01 Outgoing : SPN 32 Amp -03, LED Incicator Set of Three .

S&F of LT Aluminium thimble of size 120mm as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F of LT Aluminium thimble of size 35-50 mm as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Make bore to road width for providing GI pipe medium/light grade both end socketed for passing armoured cable complete all as specifed.

Material and labour for galvanized iron tubing size 40 mm bore (Light grade) with all necessary fittings laid in trenches under road crossing or fixed on poles / walls / under floors for cable protectioncomplete all as specfied and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting to electric control panel of E/M installations by cleaning the existing old paint with the help of spray and mechanical tools such as wire brush, scraper and sand paper from the surface of panel and painting the prepared surface with two coat of synthatic enamel paint of approved shade over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified abd specified.

Supply and fix weather proof aluminum conductor 4 sqmm 2 core, flat cable for connection from looping box to street light fitting.

Cutting & trimming of tree branches any girth and size around overhead lines to a clear distance 1.5 mtr both sides of overhead line with in a 25 to 40 mtrs span gap of HT/LT lines including clearing the site all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 1100 V grade cable for straight through joint complete with Jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 3.5 core XLPE, armoured, Aluminium conductor cable of size upto 16 to 35 sqmm, core outdoor type and taking down fault complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as per ser item No 18 here-in-before but size of 35/50/70 Sqmm 3.5 core.

Material and labour for LT cable route indicator/marker with ingreeve "LT CABLE" on block made out of RCC of size 800x150x80mm with 6mm round bar fixed in ground at a distance 05 Mtrs complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material & Labour for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B - 1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate in coping pedestal to poles including provision of necessary frame work finishing the expossed surface even and smooth complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for earthing with galvanised iron earth plate of size 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground not less than 2.25m below normal ground level,earth plate packed on all sides with charcoal mixed with salt in alternate layers of 15 cm thickness connected by galvanised iron earth earth strip 32x6mm soldered & riveted toearth plate, galvanised iron earth strip will be provided by using 50mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade) earth plate to transformer body and neutral or test point of transformer, including flat iron clamp 25x3mm including bolts, nuts and washers complete including watering galvanised iron pipe 20 mm dia 'Light grade' 2.5mm long the earthing includes PCC pit including necessary earth works and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not less than 50m, chamber of PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, coping shall be of PCC 1:3:6 type C-I using 20mm graded stone aggregate, RCC pit cover 50mm thick in1:2:4 type B-I using 20mm graded stone aggregate, rein forced with 8mm dia @ 15cm c/c complete all as shown on sketch No 3 of SSR-I of 2009 and as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
