Earthwork in excavation for foundation pipeline trenches by mechanical/manual means in all type of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravels, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, all types of laterite rock, soft rock, disintegrated rock, fissured/ shattered/ decomposed rock or weathered rock and all such other materials as described under appendix to these specifications whether in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as maybe convenient or permitted inclusive of chiselling, wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc. blasting prohibited including pumping or bailing out water including segregating the excavated earth/rock and disposal of surplus excavated earth at contractors identified site at risk and cost of the contractor) for all leads and lifts and as directed by Engineer.

Refilling the pipeline/foundation trenches plinth sides, foundation etc. with available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth consolidating each layer ramming and watering lead upto 50 M and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.
