M&L for Forming embankments including raising earth, spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick, watering, ramming/ rolling,consolidating with power roller of 8 to 12 tonne and finishing to required size, shape etc., not exc 1.5m high from base, complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Soil obtained from Ser item No. 3 & 4 shall be used including lead/transportation etc.)

Excavating over areas n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and nexc 1.5m in depth for foundation, not exc 10sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out soft and loose soil,complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in ,including spreading ,levelling,watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil exceeding 250 m but n exc 500m distance and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5 metre above the starting point . complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate, as in foundation filing,sub base of floor complete all as specified and as directed

M & L for Treating the bottom and sides of excavation at the rate of 5 litres of emulsion per square metre of surface area complete all as specified and directed

M & L for Treating the backfill in contact with foundation at the rate of 7.5 litres of emulsion per square metre of vertical surface (Area of the sub structure in contact with backfill to be measured) complete all as specified and directed

M & L for Treating the top surface of filled earth as in floor at the rate of 5 litres of emulsion per square metre of surface complete all as specified and directed
