Excavation for Structures By Mechanical Means (Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and back filling with approved material ). Complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of execution shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost of all cases.

Excavation in all height and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock, with chiselling and wedging out of rock; (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including dewatering wherever required, setting out to required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site, according to the H.P.PWD. specification of 1990 (One thousand Nine hundred Ninety) Volume-I and sorting out useful & unuseful materials and transportation of the unuseful materials on approved dumping sites or otherwise (to be arranged by the contractor including payment of prescribed dumping charges of Municipal Committee / Local body if levied any) to the satisfaction of Engineer in Charge through all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with its levelling, fine dressing and with all kind of labour, machineries, tools, equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessities to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if any required) .All useful materials, such as stones, shingles, aggregate and slates shall be probably stacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation and used / removed as per the direction of Engineer in Charge. The cost of such usefull stone shall be recovery of 101.26 cum ( One hundred one point twenty six cubic metres) and it shall be made @ Rs. 170/- only (One hundred & seventy only) per cubic meter on prorate basis in each running bill plus / minus contractor premium. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects, including all incidental charges.

Earthwork in excavation for all type of road structures such as retaining wall, breast wall, drain and parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiesling / wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibeted). Dimesions and other particulars as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 305.1 (Three hundred Five point One) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and its disposal including dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material, trimming, filling of unevenness blindages and finishing of the road to specified dimensions. All work of excavation by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosions, damage to hill side, water pollutions etc., and to protect stability of hill side rock. Stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable excavated materials in specified manners to dumping site (to be arranged by the contractor) or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of execution shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost of all cases.

Providing and laying PCC Grade M15 i.e. plain cement concrete in nominal mix 1:2.5:5 ( one isto two point five isto five graded stone agg. 40mm ( Fourty milimeters) nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated and curing complete in open foundations and plinths for all type of structure including the cost of form work complete as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 (Eight hundred two, eight hundred three, one thousand two hundred two and one thousand two hundred three) or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Plain/Reinforced cement concrete i.e. PCC Grade M20 height up to 5 mtrs.(Five meters) in sub-structure using concrete mixer complete as per drawing and Technical Specification in all Height including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and laying weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/ Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/ return wall with 100 mm (one hundred milimeters) diameter AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V :20H (one vertical isto twenty horizontal) towards drawing face. Complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications of MORTH section No. 2706 & 2200 (two seven zero six and two two zero zero) as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying Filter media with granular materials/stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2. of MORTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm (six hundred) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and Technical Specification as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying R.C.C Gr. M 25 (Twenty five) i.e. reinforced cement concrete 1:1.5:3 ( one cement isto one point five sand isto three graded crushed hard stone aggregate in all heights) in superstructure as per drawing and technical specifications complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of all labour, equipment and materials to various location of site through all modes of transportations in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position true to line and level cast steel rocker bearing conforming to IRC:83 (Pt.-1) section IX and clause 2003 of MoRTH specifications complete including all accessories as per drawing and Technical Specification as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position true to line and level forged steel roller bearing conforming to IRC : 83 (Pt.-1) section IX and clause 2003 of MoRTH specifications complete including all accessories as per drawing and Technical Specification as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Reinforced Cement Concrete approach slab including reinforcement and formwork complete as per drawing and Technical specification including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in super structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 1002, 1010 & 1202 as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of all labour, equipment and materials to various location of site through all modes of transportations in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.

Providing and laying Cement concrete wearing coat, M-30 (thirty) grade including reinforcement complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications including carriage of all labour equipments and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge

Construction of precast RCC railing of M30 (thirty) Grade, i.e 1:1:2 (one cement isto one sand isto two graded hard stone aggregate) aggregate size not exceeding 12 mm, (twelve milimeters) true to line and grade, tolurence of vertical RCC post not to exceed 1(one) in 500, (five hundred) centre to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000 mm, (two thousand milimetres) leaving adequate space between vertical post for expansion, complete as per approved drawings and technical specifications. including carriage of all labour, equipment and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lift, including all incidental charges.

Providing and laying of compression seal joint consisting of steel armoured nosing at two edges of the joint gap suitably anchored to the deck concrete and a preformed chloroprene elastomer or closed cell foam joint sealer compressed and fixed into the joint gap with special adhesive binder to cater for a horizontal movement upto 40 mm (Fourty milimeters) and vertical movement of 3 mm (Three milimeters) complete as per drawing and Technical Specification as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and Laying of an elastomeric slab steel axpansion joint, catering to right or skew (less than 20 deg. (Twenty degree ) Moderately curved with maximum horizontal movement upto 50 mm (Fifty milimeters), complete as per approved drawings and standard specification to be installed by the manufacture/ supplier or their authorised representative ensuring compliance to the manufactures instructions for installation and clause 2606 of MORTH specifications for road & bridge work.) as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement isto three sand isto six graded stone aggregate 40mm fourty milimeters nominal size) Mechanically mixed, vibrated and curing complete in open foundations and plinths for all type of structure including the cost of form work complete as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 (Eight hundred two, eight hundred three, one thousand two hundred two and one thousand two hundred three) or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidental charges.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm (one hundred millimeter) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1:20 (One verticle isto twenty horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7(six hundred fourteen, seven hundred nine, one thousand two hundred four point three point seven) or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Backfilling of Granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall, breast walls, retaining walls and parapets up to all heights, depths and levels complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 1204.3.8 (one thousand two hundred four point three point eight) , including carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location of site through all modes of transportations in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes 90m to 45mm (ninety millimetre to forty five millimetre ) grading-I 100mm( hundred millimetre) consolidated thick to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, using template, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty to hundred) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening type-B of size13.2mm(thriteen point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate 0.27 cum (zero point twenty seven cubic metre) and binding materials at the rate 0.08 cum (zero point zero six cubic metre) per 10 square merte (ten) and to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 405 by mechanical means as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of trasportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentials.

Providing and laying, spreading by mechanical means and compacting to 75mm ( seventy five milimeters) compacted thickness stone aggregates of Grading- II, 63mm to 45mm (sixty three milimeters to fourty five milimeters) size @ 0.91cum ( point nine one cubic meters) per 10 (ten) square meters to compacted thickness of 75mm (seventy five milimeters) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening of type B of size 11.2mm (eleven point two milimeters) @ 0.20 (point two ) cubic meters per ten square meters and binding materials @ 0.60cum ( point six cubic meter) per 10 (ten) square meters to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading II as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 405 (Four hundred five) and entire satisfaction & direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all lead & lifts and all incidental charges.

Providing, laying, spreading by mechanical means and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes 53mm to 22.40 mm (Fifty three millimetre to Twenty two point four zero millimetre)grading - III 75mm (Seventy five millimetre) consolidated thick to water bound macadam specification by mechanical means including spreading in uniform thickness, using template, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (Eighty to hundred) static rollar in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm (Eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate 0.18 cuM (Zero point one eight cubic metre) per ten square metre and to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggrregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 405, as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of all labour, equipment and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all lead, lift and all incidental charges.

Providing and applying primer coat of Low porosity with Bitumen Emulsion SS-1 (one) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 Kg. / sqm ( point eight five kilogramme per square meter) using mechanical means as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 502 ( Five hundred Two) and entire satisfaction & direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all lead & lifts and all incidental charges.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg (zero point two seven five kilogramme) per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 (five zero three) and as per direction of Engineer in charge including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all lead & lifts and all incidental charges.

Providing, laying by Mechanical means and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm (twenty milimeters) thickness with specified size of graded stone aggregates using viscus grade bitumen ( VG-10 (ten)) to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty to hundred kilo Newton) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508 (five zero eight) including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.

Providing and laying seal coat By Mechanical Means sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 510 (five hundred ten) using Bitumen VG 10 (ten) ) including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.
