Excavation in soil in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil , ordinary rock and hard rock .All work of rock cutting by blastingshall be carried out by taking all necesary precautions against soil erosion ,damages to hill side ,water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side .Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) .All earth work in cutting /excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines ,grades ,sides slopes,width,camber,super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirement of MoRD technical specification for Rural Road, Section. 300 & 1600 to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for constrcution at suitable sites safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means along with its levelling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account,filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding .The recovery for stones ,whether usefule or not for 19313.24 (Ninteen thousand three hundred thirteen point Two four) cubic metre at the rate of Rs 300/-only (Rupees three hundred only ) per cubic meter shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances .Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor ,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm (three hundred millimetre) below the subgrade level, watered, graded with motor grader and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to one hundred) Kn static roller for subgrade construction as per MORD Technical Specification section 300. as per direction of Engieer-in-Charge.The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with in all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading by mechanical means to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 (eighty - hundred) kN static roller to meet requirement of Table 300.2 complete as per MORD technical Specification section 300 & 1600 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drain and Parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer- In – Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides, bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layer not executing 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall and retaining wall with granular material complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification Section 1200 &1600 including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of Granular Sub-Base(Grade-1) by providing well graded materials, spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with three Wheel 80-100 (Eighty-hundred) kN static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORD Technical Specification section 400 for grading-I Material, as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanical means crushed stone aggregate size 63mm to 45mm ( sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) Grading-II 75mm ( seventy five millimetres) consolidated thickness to water bound Macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to one hundred) K.N. static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming, stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm ( eleven point two milimetres) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 cum ( zero point two zero cubic metres) per ten square metres and binding material at the rate of 0.06 cum ( zero point zero six cubic metre) per ten square metre to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 400 and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechnical means of crushed stone aggregate size 53mm to 22.4mm ( fifty three millimetre to twenty two point four millimetre) Grading-III 75mm( seventy five millimetres) consolidated thickness to water bound Macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 K.N. (eight to one hundred) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, including applying and brooming, stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm ( eleven point two milimetres) nominal size at the rate of 0.18cum (zero point one eight cubic metres) per ten square metres and to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 400 and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.
