REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF LIGHTNING CONDUCTOR ALONG WITH CONNECTED ITEMS FOR DBM AND IGLOO AT NAD AND VAJRAKOSH AT NAVAL BASE KARWAR UNDER GE(SB) KARWAR.

Amount

Material and labour for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600mmx600mmx3.15mm thick buried directly in the ground vertically to a depth not less than 3 metre below the ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 2.25 metre below the ground level connected to copper earth strip of 20mmx3mm size by means of bolts, nuts and washers protected by GI tubing light grade 40mm bore upto equipment earth point and GI watering pipe medium grade 20mm bore with funnel and wire mesh, PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) chamber 40mm thick RCC cover slab (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including earth work in any type of soil removal of surplus soil and providing charcoal dust and salt layers all around the earth plate upto 15cm complete all as required, specified and as directed. (Note: Upto 7.5 mtr length of pipe of 40mm bore and GI strip shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by tenderer.

Taking down Aluminium/Copper/GI strip situated on the roof, fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation of IGLOOs/Magazine Buildings or any other buiding complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: The height in which the taking down/fixing of the strips to be carried out is at the average height of 10Mtrs.

Supply and fixing Aluminium strip of size 25 x 4 mm with saddles of suitable size as required at site and fixing screws, nuts, bolts and washers of suitable size etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground alongwith carrying out welding, brazing. cutting and joining work wherever required as per the site requirement all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note:- The saddles to be provided each at a distance of 1 Mtrs.

Supply and fixing Copper strip 25 x 4 mm with saddles of suitable size as required at site and fixing screws, nuts, bolts and washers of suitable size etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground alongwith carrying out welding, brazing. cutting and joining work wherever required as per the site requirement all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note:- The saddles to be provided each at a distance of 1 Mtrs.

Supply and fixing in replacement of earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or roof of the building or side walls of the building or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required but 32x6mm galvanised iron strip complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs of old unserviceable Air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long alongwith all the fixing arrangements as required at site including connecting the same with the continuity earth strip complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Supply and Fixing in repairs PCC blocks of size 400x200x150 mm situated on roof of IGLOO/Magazine or any other indicated building complete as directed by Engr-in Charge.

Supply and fixing nuts and bolts with Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut of length 5 cm to 10 cm and the diameter ranging from 16 to 20 mm as required at site all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Supply and Fixing epoxy electrical insulators used for insulating the GI/Copper strip lightening arrester and Earthing strip from the ground by fixing the insulator to already existing PCC block or as required at the site complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in Charge

Supply & Fix in repairs flame proof MCB distribution board TPN alongwith complete flame proof enclosure and connected items Color-Smoke Gray, Material LM6 20 kg Approx size and IP 66 protection complete all as specified and directed.
