Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in Soft/Loose soil including trimming sides and bottom of trenches complete all as specified

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in Soft/Loose soil including trimming sides and bottom of trenches complete all as specified in the following type of soils:

Returning, filling-in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each, in soft /loose soil complete all as specified in the following type of soils

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Material and labour for river washed and screened, dry sand for filling in trenches below 8 cm laid before laying of cable and 15 cm sand cable laid after laying the cable and around underground cables for cushioning of cables complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in-charge.

M & L for Bricks protection cover to under ground cable (with standard size fly ash bricks) with width equal to length of brick laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps between adjacent brick not exceeding 10mm as directed.

Ditto all as per ser item No 9 above but laying only old serviceable bricks obtained from Ser item No. 01 here-in-before after necessary cleaning of bricks

Supply and laying in replacement galvanised steel tubing, light grade, IS-1239 marked with all fittings (IS marked) and laid in trenches / under roads / in drains / fixed to poles/walls ( with required size flat iron clamp bolts, nuts and washers ) pipes of the following sizes :-

M&L for auguring of hole suitable for passing 40mm to 100mm bore pipe in true horizontal position under road, PCC paths etc., by means of mechanical ring/ auger after doing ultrasound to prevent any damage to existing cables pipe line specified and directed coming in the route not exceeding 1.5 m in depth below existing surface level of road and not excd 30M in length complete all as specified. Note: Pipe shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items and any dahage to existing cables of anytype shall be made good by the Bidder without any extra cost to department.

Taking out unsv pole PCC/ Steel tubular and Supplying, transporting to site, erecting, and fixing in position, steel tubular swaged and welded poles of Overall height 9 metres, type 410 SP-31, IS-2713 marked, with mild steel base plate (fillet welded to poles), pole cap / finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, washers etc, including painting on the outside with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed surfaces and black bituminous paint on steel surface embeded in concrete and painting 03 nos band /strips with fluorescent , PO box red synthetic enamel paint ( (black, green and red 30 cm wide each)) at a distance of 30 cm from plinth block and numbering of poles, including the existing service line/ chanel/ street lights/JBs complete allied items shifting the new pole complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.(Note:- (i) Poles shall be swaged and welded at manufacturer’s factory and not at site. The inner surface shall be factory painted)(ii) Excavation,earth work,PCC & return filling,removal of soil to be measured seprately in respective item of schedule

M&L for PCC (1:4:8)type D2 with 40 mm graded stone aggregate infoundation(below pole )

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of pole etc. (around the poles in pit)

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping of poles including necessary form work, fair finishing to exposed surfaces using extra cement

Dismantling old existing MS cross arms of any type/shape.

Supply and fixing pre-fabricated MS structural steel (IS marked) work consisting of channels / angles / other sections etc of various sizes and shape, cut / weld / drilled holes etc hot / cold in position for cross arms with FI clamps (full, half D and earth clamp etc) incl necessary MS bolts, nuts etc and painting, all as directed and specified.

Dismantling old existing ACSR conductor of any type/size.

Material and labour for straining and stretching of aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR), ISI marked, laid overhead on poles, including binding and jointing the conductor with and including SWG binding wire complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Supply and fix in repair danger notice plate made of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, of size 20 x 15cm with letter, figures and conventional skull bones in signal red colour and fixed with mild steel clamps (made of 25x3 mm MS flat iron) nuts, bolts and washers etc for LT poles / pillar box etc with voltage and danger indiated in Hindi and English complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old existing Insulators of any type/shape.

Supply and fix in repair pin type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white, size 100mm height and 65mm dia, 1100 Volts grade, ISI marked, including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two Nos GI washers and one GI nut complete,all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair shackle type insulator, ISI marked, porcelain, vitreous white, 1100 volts grade, ISI marked of size 90 x 75 mm, including galvanized mild steel strips 31x3 mm, washers, insulators bolts (12 mm dia), washers and nuts all as specified and directed.

M&L for Replacement plate earthing for sub station equipments complete with galvanised mild steel plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides and incl GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm bolted (with GI nuts, bolts & check nuts) and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to metallic bodies of HT/LT equipments etc at the other, earth strip encased in and including 40mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from top of electrode to body of equipment fixed with and including 25 x 3mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-O using 12 mm graded crushed stone aggregate excavation & earth work and RCC cover complete all specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt-I.

M&L for replacement earthing complete with galvanized copper plate electrode 60cm X 60cm X 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.75 Mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connected to copper strip 20 x 3 mm size by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or of steel, earth lead protected by 40mm dia GI pipe light grade watering pipe 20mm dia GI light grade GI wire messed funnel, alternative layer of charcoal and salt, PCC chamber, recessed for and including RCC cover including all necessary excavation and earth work, earth strips connected to HT/LT equipment testing and made testing point for the earthing, after completion all as specified of MES SSR Pt- I 2009 print, complete all as specified & directed.

Supplying and fixing in repair STRAIGHT THROUGH cable jointing Kit for 1100 V grade cable for complete with jointing material ( heat shrink type) and accessories suitable for 70 sqmm to 120sqmm 3.5/4 core XLPE armoured aluminkium conductor cable and testing aftre jointing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cutting of worn-out / burnt aluminium cable terminal lugs from the HT/LT cable , crimping of new aluminium cable core and fixing with transformer/ Panel MCCB terminal/ FPB/ JB/ pole/DBs/ stud including cutting/ dressing of cable, disconnecting under ground / OH line cable conductor , cutting down worn-out portion and refixing and including suitable lugs complete , including under ground cables of any type and size for repairs including taking out under ground cable loop from ground and making connections of restoration of electric supply with complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge

Releasing the binding of ACSR conductor of OH lines from insulator , removing the jumper, connector, service wire, disconnecting the connection of UG cables and restretching of existing HT/LT OH lines , any size, length and span upto desired sag as designed by Engineer-in-Charge and rebinding the ACSR Conductor on insulator , reconnecting the UG cable etc complete all as specified. (Note :- Linear length centre to centre of the poles multiplied by No(s) of line wire restretched shall only be measured for the purpose of payment)

Trimming/ cutting/ prunning for branches of tree touching to LT/HT OH lines not exceeding 30 cm girth , shrub, vegetation, bushwwod and saplings at least upto 3 M from outer edge of ACSR including removing of braches of trees etc through to a distance exceeding 2 KM out of stn area complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in- Charge.Note :- (i) Shutdown wherever required shall be taken in writting from Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces erected steel tubular swaged poles / Rails/Girder poles of LT over head line ( Except embedded portion) , 9/11 Mtr long including all MS work mounted on pole , earth protection & water pipe ( if exists) and providing one coat of aluminium paint and providing 05 Nos bands/ straps with Two coats of synthetic enamel paint ( black & yellow and Black and red white 30 cm wide each) from top of plinth block and numbering of poles with white synthetic enamel paint on yellow synthetic enamel piant ground (50mm wide and 100mm high letters) including encircling the letters or figures with complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge

Finding out fault in any size of cable, 1100V grade to 33000V with the help of Fault Testing Van by disconnecting of cable from both sides and making connection after fault finding and repairs upto a length of 500m with complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge Note:- All the equipments, tackle, T&P, Fault finding/ testing Van etc shall be arranged by contractor at hos own cost. The rate quoted by contractor shall deem to be included and nothing extra shall be allowed.
