Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc on black top surfaces complete all as specified.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep in area not exceeding 400 Sqm complete all as specified.

Applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG- 10 at the rate of 10 kg per 10 sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified.

Repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edge to at least 30 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen of VG-10 grade @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder of paving bitumen of VG-10 grade @ 9.80 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder @ 0.03 cum of premixed macadam) complete all as specified.

Applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG- 10 at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified.

Premix bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber consolidated thickness not more than 75 mm, binder content 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed.

Bituminous pre-mixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness, with 5% binder content by weight of total mix using VG-10 bitumen rolled with 8 to 12 Ton capacity power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Automatic hot mixing plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregate, bitumen etc for premix dense asphaltic concrete and mix for both items shall be laid with mechanical pavers. (ii) Quantity of bitumen in dense asphaltic concrete shall be used as per design mix and shall be approved by the GE. Any variation in quantity of bitumen in desigm mix shall be priced as specified in the particular specification through deviation order. Unit rate quoted shall deemed to include the cost of design mix.

Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letteres etc on roads pavements and the like not exceeding 15 cm width with hot thermoplastic paint 3mm thick in layer including 250 gm glass beads for road marking paint white or golden yellow as approved with the mechanical instrument including peparation of new or previously untreated surfaces to receive the painting complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick or stone masnory built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing dressed stone work and precast concrete block complete all as specified.

Walling of random rubble masnory uncoursed, well bonded , bedded and solidly hearted built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified.

All as per Sl No.10 above but except stone. Note : Stone obtained from demolition of stone masnory shall be used.

Rendering 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on stone masnory surfaces, rendering finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping including use and waste of form work complete all as specified.

Preparation of newly plastered surfaces and applying two coats of weather proof exterior paint over a coat of primer in the pattern of dofferent colours as directed complete all as specified.

Solar stud with 125x125x25 mm made from aluminium alloy body powered by nionocrystal solar panel with high capcity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery , LEDs-010 mm, 3 pieces ecah side and total 6 pieces are used for high brightness of different colors back up 12 hours of continuous lighting at night of any color etc complete all as specified and directed.
