PROVN OF MOBILE DG SET ALONGWITH ASSOCIATED WORKS AT 1 WG AF

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Mobile Silent Diesel Engine Driven Generating Set of 160 KVA, 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 50 Hz, 0.8 power factor (lagging), 1500 RPM, complete with OEM-designed mobile trolley, suitable for continuous duty operation. The diesel engine shall conform to relevant BIS/IS standards applicable to diesel generating sets and the alternator shall conform to IS 13364 (as amended). The DG set shall be complete in all respects with acoustic enclosure, control panel, batteries, fuel tank, anti-vibration mountings and all standard accessories. The DG set shall be water-cooled, skid/base frame mounted and suitable for operation on High Speed Diesel (HSD). The engine shall be a 4-stroke, direct injection, water-cooled diesel engine with number of cylinders as per OEM design meeting the rated output of 160 kVA, equipped with electronic or mechanical governor, as per OEM design, 24 V DC electric starting system complete with maintenance-free batteries, battery leads and charging alternator. The engine shall have a forced-feed lubrication system and safety protections including low lubricating oil pressure shutdown, high engine coolant temperature shutdown and over-speed trip. The alternator shall be brushless, self-excited, self-regulated synchronous alternator with Class H insulation, IP23 protection and automatic voltage regulation through Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR), maintaining voltage regulation within ±1% under steady-state conditions. The alternator shall be directly coupled to the engine. The control panel shall be a microprocessor-based DG control panel with AMF/manual operation, complete with 4-pole MCCB of adequate breaking capacity and suitable current rating, digital multifunction meter indicating voltage, current, frequency, power factor, kW, kVA and energy, hour meter, emergency stop push button, Auto/Manual selector switch, battery charger with float and boost charging facility, annunciation, protection relays and all necessary controls. The DG set shall be mounted on a common fabricated steel base frame with anti-vibration mountings and an integral fuel tank of minimum 320 litres capacity, complete with fuel level indicator and drain arrangement. The acoustic enclosure shall be factory-fabricated, weatherproof, powder-coated CRCA steel construction, complying with latest CPCB-II emission and noise norms, as applicable, and designed to limit the sound pressure level to 75 dB(A) at 1 metre from the enclosure surface, complete with residential silencer, ventilation system and all necessary accessories. The complete DG set shall be supplied, installed, tested and commissioned in accordance with relevant BIS/IS standards, manufacturer's recommendations, and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) The mobile trailer shall be measured and paid for separately under the respective item of Schedule 'A' and shall not be deemed to be included in this item. (II) The contractor shall submit the OEM General Arrangement (GA) drawing, foundation/mounting details (where applicable), technical data sheet, and dimensional details of the DG Set, along with the acoustic enclosure and control panel details, for approval of the GE. Supply and installation shall be carried out only after obtaining such approval.

The diesel engine shall conform to relevant BIS/IS standards applicable to diesel generating sets and the alternator shall conform to IS 13364 (as amended). Supply, laying, fixing, connecting, testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured, heavy-duty LT cable, 1100 Volts grade, with stranded aluminium conductors of size 3.5 Core × 120 sq mm, laid in trenches, ducts/pipes or fixed to poles, walls or other supports, including all jointing, glands, lugs, clamps, saddles and other accessories required for proper installation, complete in all respects, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, laying, fixing, connecting, testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured, heavy-duty LT cable, 1100 Volts grade, with stranded aluminium conductors of size 3.5 Core × 150 sq mm, laid in trenches, ducts/pipes or fixed to poles, walls or other supports, including all jointing, glands, lugs, clamps, saddles and other accessories required for proper installation, complete in all respects, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, testing and delivering one four-wheel platform type mobile trailer suitable for mounting and transportation of Diesel Generator Set of capacity as specified at Ser No. 1 & 2, complete with towing arrangement, hydraulic system arrangement in four wheels and all accessories, fabricated from structural steel sections, complete in all respects, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The trailer shall conform to the following minimum specifications: (a) The trailer shall be provided with a heavy-duty fabricated chassis, the main base frame consisting of MS Channel 150 × 75 mm, fabricated from structural steel sections of suitable thickness, having overall dimensions suitable for accommodating the DG Set specified at Ser No. 1 & 2. The chassis shall be fully welded and adequately stiffened with cross members of MS Channel across the width and MS Angle 100 × 50 × 6 mm along the length or equivalent structural members to ensure adequate strength and rigidity. (b) Each trailer shall be provided with one complete set of heavy-duty multi-leaf spring suspension, comprising 02 Nos. leaf springs, each having 14 leaves of size 80 × 10 mm with an assembly span of approximately 950 mm, complete with all necessary brackets, bushes, U-bolts and fittings. (c) The trailer shall be provided with one heavy-duty square axle of minimum size 62 × 62 mm or suitable equivalent section designed to safely withstand the rated load. (d) The trailer shall be provided with a mechanically operated parking brake system, actuated through a hand lever mounted at the front of the trailer, complete with 03 Nos. heavy-duty mechanical support jacks for safe parking and stabilization during operation. (e) The trailer shall be fitted with 04 Nos. new pneumatic tyres complete with tubes and heavy-duty steel rims of size 9.50 × 16, suitable for the gross trailer weight. (f) The towing arrangement shall consist of a triangular tow bar fabricated from MS Channel 80 × 50 mm, complete with 36 mm diameter spring-loaded towing eye suitable for standard towing hook arrangement. (g) The trailer shall be provided with all additional structural members, fittings, fasteners, brackets, safety devices and accessories necessary to ensure safe operation and suitability for carrying the specified DG Set, whether or not specifically mentioned herein. (h) The complete trailer, including chassis, structural members, wheel rims and all fabricated steel components, shall be thoroughly cleaned and painted with two coats of approved red oxide zinc chromate primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint of black colour or as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The contractor shall submit detailed design calculations, fabrication drawings and General Arrangement (GA) drawings of the trailer for approval by the GE before commencement of fabrication. The above specifications indicate the minimum requirements only. The trailer shall be specifically designed and manufactured to safely carry, transport and operate a 160 kVA and 100 kVA Diesel Generator Set, including all associated equipment, with an adequate factor of safety, complete in all respects, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
