SCH "A" PART-I (E/M ITEMS)

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, laying of cables etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m depth and getting out in any type of soil all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and exceeding 1.5m and not exceding 3.0m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, laying of cables etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Fine seived excavated dry soil laid to the required width of trench at bottom and top of cable as cushioning all as specified and as directed.

(i) Punned thickness only shall be measured. (ii) The soil used shall be free from sharp grains and deletrious materials like dry/decayed plants etc.,

Reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mmx l80mm x 40mm all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles and similar work complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles, stay assembly complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing cable any type / cross section and Supply, laying, connecting and testing HT UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, (Earthed), 3 core, cross sectional area 95 sqmm in bridges / culvert / trenches / drawn through pipe / fixed on walls / bare in road crossings / paths / drains / ducts / floors / fixed on poles / equipments complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing cable any type / cross section and Supply, laying, connecting and testing HT UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, (Earthed), 3 core, cross sectional area 120 sqmm in bridges / culvert / trenches / drawn through pipe / fixed on walls / bare in road crossings / paths / drains / ducts / floors / fixed on poles / equipments complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing cable any type / cross section and Supply, laying, connecting and testing HT UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, (Earthed), 3 core, cross sectional area 185 sqmm in bridges / culvert / trenches / drawn through pipe / fixed on walls / bare in road crossings / paths / drains / ducts / floors / fixed on poles / equipments complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing cable any type / cross section and Supply, laying, connecting and testing HT UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, (Earthed), 3 core, cross sectional area 240 sqmm in bridges / culvert / trenches / drawn through pipe / fixed on walls / bare in road crossings / paths / drains / ducts / floors / fixed on poles / equipments complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 11.00 to 14.00:-

(a) Lugs and glands shall be used appropriately wherever required while connecting cables to the panel board and the quoted rates are deemed be include for the same.

(b) Earthwork, sand cushioning, protection for cable etc., as required shall be measured and paid separately.

Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150mm height, 150mm dia working pressure 11000 volts as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green, "two in series" assembly for tension with cast aluminium, 4 U bolt tension hardware and tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Loop type insulator, poecelain, vitreous white, brown or green with over all dimension 90mm X 140mm clearance of hole 25.5mm as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

ACSR conductor of any size for HT over head line and jumpers on PCC/RCC/Steel pole including binding wires line connecting up etc of any size including taking down old unserviceable ACSR all specified and directed .

Anti-climbing device; spikes type fabricated out of M S bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole of any size including taking down old unserviceable one all specified and directed .

Dismantling cross-arms of mild steel channel or angle sections etc., complete and taken on credit and provision of new Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT opf size 25x20cm size including taking down the existing unserviceable board complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Horn Gap type Fuse unit, 11000 volts grade, mounted on insulators and steel frame, single pole, fixed on DP structures all specified and as directed including dismantling existing unserviceable fuse unit.

S & F Expulsion type drop out fuse with all accessories and contact insulator etc fixed on HT pole for rating 10 to 100 Amps suitable for 11 KV Horn Gap type fuse including dismantling existing unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down, servicing and overhauling of Vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) Amps : 400A, HT, 11KV VCB by drawing out the draw out module of the breaker, carrying out complete cleaning with clean cloth & cleaning agent, lubrication of the mechanism & greasing with high temperature molly grease, testing for smoother ON/OF operation, carrying out relay calibration of protection relay by secondary current injection methods to check trip time characteristic of relays, checking of healthiness of CTs & Pts. Checking of IR value of Interrupters, healthiness of Protection Tripping of Circuit breaker etc. Choking and servicing switchgear Interlocks and Safety Like Mechanical - 1. Positive Interlock, 2.Negative Interlock, 3. Spring Discharge Interlock, 4. Padlocks, 5. Key Interlocking 6. Safety Roll in Stop, 7. Safety Roll - out Stop,8. Rating Interference Interlock. Electrical - Interlock Switches) Checking of Electrical operations of the breaker for ON/OFF & Trip operation for Incomer and Outgoing including submission of service & test reports. The servicing to be done by authorised service provider of manufacturer. Note :- (i) Unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of spares/ lubricants other than the spares mentioned under item No 46.00 to 58.00 (ii) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of labour charges for fixing taking down and renewal of defective spares. (iii) The defective parts to be renewed shall be measured and paid seperately as Supply only and noting extra shall be admitted.

Finding fault of HT XLPE UG Cable aluminium conductor armoured of cable size 95 Sqmm to 240 Sqmm by fault locater including taking out from trenches/poles/structure and relaying after fault rectification complete all as specified and directed. Note: The quoted rate shall be deemed to include hire charges of HT fault Locater and Earth Work. The work should be completed within 12 hrs, Jointing Kit will be measured and paid separately under relevant Item if required. Before Starting of any HT works contractor should ensure safety arrangements and proper shutdown of feeders/mains to avoid any unwanted incidents.

Taking down, servicing and overhauling of HT, 11KV GOD carrying out complete servicing and cleaning with clean cloth & cleaning agent, lubrication of the mechanism & greasing with petroleum gel, tightening of all parts and checking the complete GOD for proper functioning complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of renewal of all defective parts and nothing extra will be admissible.

Labour only for restraining of ACSR conductor from pole to pole with Note :- Unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of minimum spares/ lubricants and tools and nothing extra will be admissible.

HT 11 KV Phase seperator suitable for fixing OH ACSR conductor , including taking down existing unserviceable seperator complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for painting outer surfaces of transformer of capacity above 100KVA, any type / make / model, pole or plinth mounted, installed at various sub stations with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade including cleaning the old painted surfaces and writing SM / MES numbers, capacity, make, date of oil testing etc., complete all as directed:-

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces, removing dust and other deposited materials by scraping from HT/LT tubular pole 11mtr long, painting of pole with one coat of black paint upto 1 Mtr from bottom and painting the rest of the pole including cross arms cable protection pipe clamps, street light bracket with one coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for servicing of four pole structure including checking/ tightening/making free for operating of AB switch, insulators, lighting arrester, changing of nut/bolts if required including preparation of old painted surfaces ,removing dust and other deposited materials by scraping from HT tubular pole of 11 Mtr long, painting of pole with one coat of black paint upto 1 Mtr from bottom and painting the rest of the pole including cross arms cable protection pipe clamps, bracket with one coat of aluminium paints complete all as specified and directed

M&L for servicing of two pole structure including checking/ tightening/making free for operating of AB switch, insulators, lighting arrester, changing of nut/bolts if required including preparation of old painted surfaces ,removing dust and other deposited materials by scraping from HT tubular pole of 11 Mtr long, painting of pole with one coat of black paint upto 1 Mtr from bottom and painting the rest of the pole including cross arms cable protection pipe clamps, bracket with one coat of aluminium paints complete all as specified and directed

Filtration of transformer oil of transformers step down 11 KV/ 0.433 V indoor/outdoor type upto 500 KVA capacity installed at different sub stations/locations using filtration and heating equipment at site by re-circulating transformer oil heating, dehydration and improving di-electric strength of the oil to withstand 40 KV for one minute including testing of oil all as specified and as directed. Note : Transformer oil test kit and filtration machine shall be provided by the contractor at site for testing of oil.

Removing silica gel from the breather assembly of transformers of any capacity installed at different sub stations and providing fresh silica gel in the breather complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling/topping up new transformer oil conforming to IS specification for transformer upto 500 KVA capacity of suitable insulation grade not less than 40KV installed at various sub stations complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for renewal of breather assembly of any size , as per existing shape suitable for existing transformer complete all as specified and directed

M & L for renewal of transformer temperature gauge dial type having temp range 0 to minimum 120 degree celsius complete all as specified and directed

Steel tubular swaged poles complete with mild steel base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified, type 410, SP-31 (11.00 metres long) and shall be coated with two coats of black bituminous paint throughout internally, and externally up to the planting depth and the remaining, portion of the exterior shall be painted with one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthwork, PCC foundation, coping etc as required for erection of pole shall be measured and paid separately.

Cutting/clearing and removing the vegetable/bush growth any nature/type around the electric poles/stays structures/installations / substation., so as to keep clean the area for easy access to carry out repair/maintenance works on poles etc., including cutting and removing the creepers on poles/stays etc., removing from site and throwing out at a place where directed at distance not exceeding 250mtr away complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting of tree branches of any type/size of trees, touching/approaching the electric OH lines/Poles structures etc., by climbing on trees, cutting required number of branches of any size/girth protruding towards OH lines so as to keep tree branches clear/off not less than 1.5mtr away from any side of conductors on poles, removing cut branches from site and throwing out at a place where directed not more than 250mtr away from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note :-1. Suitable ropes shall be used to hold the branches while cutting in progress to prevent branches falling on OH lines and causing damages. 2. In case of any damages to the OH lines / poles or any other structures, the same shall be repaired / rectified / made good by the contractor with out any extra cost. 3. Shut down of electric supply shall be taken before climbing trees. 4. The cut branches shall be removed from site and deposited at a distance not exceeding 200 mtr as directed. 5. Each tree will be measured as one Job irrespective of any number of branches.
