REPAIR OF ROOF TREATMENT IN CERTAIN BUILDINGS AND SUNKEN FLOORING AND CONNECTED WORKS IN DOMESTIC AREA AT 3 BRD AREA UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Dismantling brick tiles or terracing tiles, single layer on roof and removal of unserviceable brick tiles / brick bats of rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5 Km but n.exc 5 Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing bitumen felt including cement mortar bedding padding and cleaning the surface and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5 Km but n.exc 5 Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of mud in roof, any thickness, including plastering and leaping (whether full thickness removed or nly a part thereof) and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5 Km but n.exc 5 Km, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) as in padding on roof laid in 50mm thick average required thickness to maintain desired slope, finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.50 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in roof kerb, mud stops, benching , including use and waste necessary form work including demolition of existing PCC and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5 Km but n.exc 5 Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:3) using WPC @ 0.200ML per 50Kg bag of cement on surfaces of roof and parapet, finished even & fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for applying a coat of bitumen primer @ 0.3Kg/Sqm conforming to IS 3384 and laying 4mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane reinforced with non woven polyster matt having softening point not less than 150 degree centigrade, having tensile strength 650 N/Sqcm in longitudinal and 400 N/Sqcm in transverse direction by torch method with minimum 100mm side lap and 150mm end lap followed by application of a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.2Kg/Sqm, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: The water proofing treatment shall be carried out by the Authorised applicator of the Manufacturers.

All as per item N0-08 here-in-before but on vertical surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting chase, pinning in. of parapet walls for fixing of APP membrane complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for 40mm thick brick tiles laid over and including 15mm thick cement screed bed in cement mortar (1:6) using grey cement and grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement laid on concrete roof, complete all specified and directed.

Material and Labour for applying two coats of solar reflective bituminious aluminium paint over APP membrane @ 0.20Kg/Sqm for two coats, complete all specified and directed.

M&L for providing water proofing treatment of sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying cement slurry mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound coating of make as approval in Technical Instruction 5/2003 by adding : (a) 15mm thick plaster (1:4) cement sand mortar mixed with and including liquid water proofing compound @200ml per 50Kg bag by weight of cement on floor and wall / beam , finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement. The surface shall then be cured and allowed to dry. (Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately). (b) First layer of slurry of cement @0.488 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs. (c) Second layer of slurry of cement @0.242 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs followed with water curing for 48 hrs and including demolition of existing treatment or flooring and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5 Km but n.exc 5 Km, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for non skid ceramic coloured tiles 7-8 mm thick (area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sqm but n.exc 0.18Sqm) laid in floor with neat cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 and including pointing in white cement with pigment to match the sade of tiles including 25mm thick cement concrete type B-0, 1:2:4 (12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair CP fancy type bib taps 15mm bore, cast copper alloy with capstan handle, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule and fixed.

Supply and fix in repair vitreous China wash down water closet (squatt pan) orissa squatting pattern pan of size 580mm x440mm white with integral foot rests etc including CI P or S trap complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair PVC valveless, syphonic action type, flushing cistern, low level 10 lit capacity (ISI marked), white, with inlet, ball valve, float,handle including PVC Bend or pipe and brackets.

S&F in repair PVC connection 450 mm long, 15mm size with PTMT nuts complete all as specified.

Supply and fix PTMT Grating doom 125mm dia with waste hole of PTMT(Minimum weight 40 gms) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Cast iron soil, waste and vent sand cast pipe 75 mm bore, in any length, with or without ears, with cement joints, fixed to wall including dismantling & taking out of existing unserviceable CI pipes complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair cast iron floor trap/nahani trap 75mm including jointing to waste pipe with cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate joint to waste pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Cast iron bends 75 mm bore, with oval access door diminishing pieces or tapers, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 15mm bore steel water tubes, `medium grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to roof, walls and ceilings or laid in floors.incl taking down old unserviceable pipe.

M&L for disconnecting of PVC tank of capacity n.exc 500 Litre for cleaning including setting aside temporarily and refixing later in same position for water supply to enable water proofing treatment of roof slab beneath the tank in following laid down process all as specified and directed :- a) Dewatering & removing all settled silt, scale & dust from inside of tanks using coconut brush manually and applying bleaching powder and allowed to rest for 1 hour. b) Cleaning & rinsing the tank using fresh water to wash out complete and allowed to dry for 30 mins. c) Writing letters of 7 cm height using synthetic enamel paint (white colour) to mention date of cleaning incl rubbing out old letters written over the tank d) Refixing the tank with fittings as required in same position or raised/lower height after cleaning or water proofing treatment (as may necessary) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work as in walls/parapet wall,s removing grass fungus weed, roots of trees completely, grown on roof/wall surfaces.

M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ brick, straight or curved as plan exc 6m mean radiusbuilt in cement mortar 1:6 complete.

M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ brick, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar 1:4 complete.

M&L Rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement and apply two coat of cement based paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of RCC water storage tank /reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position all as specified.

S & F for Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks 1000 litres capacity three layered white in colour ( clylindrical vertical with threaded closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I.
