| 1.01 | (A) Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 160 KVA net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self exicited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of + 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to BS 2613/5000, IS: 13364 and shall be in position to generate supply with frequecy regulation with in ±1% tolerace. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS - 2613/5000/ IS - 4722.

| 1.02 | (B) Diesel Engine: - Diesel engine of adequate OEM rated capacity capable of continuously driving the specified alternator after applying site derating factors. based on manufacturers technical details water cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexiable coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI/BS -10001/10002/ 5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for half an hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:-
(i) Fly wheel with housing
(ii) Cooling System :- Moulded radiator with fan and belts
(iii) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping upto & outside and 1meter away from the enclosure,wrapped with ceramic fibre / mineral wool insulation and aluminium cladding. complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure.

(x)Generator Monitoring Panel :- Comprising of all standard items as mentioned under this schedule or as per standard practice ignition key switch and start/stop arrangement, indications for Engine parametes, hour run meter RPM meter Engine oil pressure indicator water/coolent temparature indicator, Battery volt display.
(xi) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure high water temparature and over speeding of engine.
(xii) Coupling arrangement : - Flexible coupling, fly wheel to suit flexible coupling.
(xiii) Accessories :- AVM Pads built or separately mounted to manufactrer's base frames as per (as recommended by OEM)
(xiv) Base Frame : - Made out of ISMC of sturdy design made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement and predetermined holes.
(xv) Fuel Tank :- Daily service fuel tank (as recommended by OEM) with caliberated level indicating arrangement, stop cock, drain plug, complete on a common base in side the accoustic enclosure.

| 1.05 | (C) Acoustic Enclosure:- Manufactured by OEM suitable for 160 KVA DG Set.
(i) NAL approved as per CPCB.
(ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board.
(iii) The generating set batteries and control panel should be inside the enclosure.
(iv) Fuel tank should be in side the enclosure.
(v) Construction Details/specification are as follows : -
(a) Outer body :- CRCA Sheet of 1.6mm thick.
(b) Doors :- CRCA sheet of 1.6 mm thick.
(c) Sound Insulation :- 100 mm thick rock wool (64kg/Cum).
(vi) The accoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit.
(vii) The batteries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable inlsulated platform.
(viii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button.
(ix) The enclosure should be suitably illuminated by LED luminaire fittings.
(x) The noise level should be Noise level shall conform to latest CPCB norms for DG sets ,under free field conditions.
(xi) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. The powder coating shade should be Genset Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade. | - | - | - | - |
| 2 | M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cmx 6.00 mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below ground level , connected to GI earth srip 32X6 as earthling lead by means bolts and nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and connected to main switch board including watering arrangement with PCC chamber , MS funnel with wire mesh,. Page Nos. 422 & 423 of SSR Part-II.
