Surface Excavation n exe. 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material not exc. 100 m & depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above starting point, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller exc 8 Tonne and n exc 12 tonne, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-chage.

M&L for 200 mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub-base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled & consolidated to required gradient & camber with 8-12 tonne power roller, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 150 mm thick water bound macadam in two equal layers of 75 mm each (compacted thickness) with coarse aggregate of stone (lime stone/sand stone/flint or quartzite) of grading - 2 ( 63 mm to 40 mm size ) or of grading - 3 ( 50 to 20 mm size ), using broken sand stone or lime stone, spread rolled and consolidated to required gradient & camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L applying evenly a priming/tack coat with cationic bitumen (RS-1) @ 3.50 Kg per 10 sqm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in -charge.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 50mm or less) using paving bitumen Vg-30 @ 4% (minimum) by the weight of total mix laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tone power roller complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : (i) No extra allowances shall be admissible to the contractor if the bitumen content is required more than 4% by the weight of total mix as per approved design and on minus side it will be recovered @ Rs. 50.00/kg of bitumen irrespective of any purchase price. The contractor shall quote the rate accordingly. (ii) Before carrying out bituminous macadam initial level final level both shall be taken and accordingly level sheet and level register shall be prepared. Level sheet shall be signed by the Engineer-in-Charge and contractor which shall be produced during technical check of RAR / Final Bill.

M&L applying evenly a priming/tack coat with cationic bitumen (RS-1) @ 2.50 Kg per 10 sqm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in -charge.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness (minimum) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen Gde-VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : (a) The actual binder contain used shall be as per optimised content based on approved Job mix formula irrespective of whatever indicated above. (b) Rate deemed to be included for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi dense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (c) Price adjustment shall be done on minus side (without permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated above and actually to be used in the work. (d) Price adjustment for paving bitumen shall be done @ Rs. 50.00 per KG for any variation on minus side irrespective of actual purchase rate. However, no adjustment for variation on plus side will be made.

M&L for Continuous brick edging (With burnt clay bricks of sub class 'B' brick, old size, best quality locally availabe) with width equal to the width of the brick, laid dry on end vertically, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for White/Yellow for hot reflective thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5 kg/Sqm and applying glass beads @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painted surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge (Note. The painting shall be carried out through mechanical appliances by the company's approved applicatior).

M&L for 75 mm thick Shingle or gravel, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and installation of Raised Pavement Marker (RPM) with polycarbonate lens electronically welded with the RPM body. The marker shall be extremely high reflectivity and high impact resistance in all weather conditions, scartch proof and abrasion resistant mircroprismatic polycarbonate lens with polycarbonate reflective panels with dual prismatic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection. Dimension: The dimensions of the marker is height ; 15.88, width; 101.6, lenght; 89.20mm. The marker conforms to ASTM D4280 & is in accordance with MORTH circular referance no. RW/NH 33023/10/97-DO III, dated 11th June 1997. Marker shall be fixed with adhesive and no nails shall be used to affix the marker and shall be marked with manufacturer name, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for reinforced concrete pipes of dia 300 mm class NP3, laid and jointed complete with collars, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25cm complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
