SPECIAL REPAIRS (FURNITURE) FOR CONVERSION OF GI CHARPOY IN TO HARD TOP IN THE AOR OF GE (NORTH) BANGALORE.

Amount

(a) Supply and Fixing of 12mm thick commercial plywood (7 ply) duly ISI marked of size 2000mm x 900mm over the GI charpoy with all the four corners of the plywood shaped so that they rest on all long and short rails of the charpoy, fixed to the charpoy with 13 Nos of 6mmx75mm long bolt and nuts duly counter sunk on top with suitable washers (nut, bolts & washers will be galvanized iron) by making holes 3 nos on each long rails and 2 nos on each short rails complete all as directed. The quoted rate shall also include for the following arrangement of fixing:- (i) Taking down of existing old unserviceable nylon newar from charpoy GI pipe. ii) Dismantling of unserviceable GI pipe for reuse/ taken to store. (iii) Provision of 3 No of the MS Conduit Pipe ISI Mark 1.6 MM wall thickness, size of MS pipe 25x25 mm duly welded to long rails in equal distance the short rail & long rail of four corner should be welded with the help conduit pipe size 25mm x25mm x 150mm long x1.6mm thickness off wall of MS conduit pipe.

Item No1.1 Contd....:- (iv) Two coats of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red oxide primer on conduit pipe and welded portions compplete all as directed. Make of plywood : Greenply / Archid / Century / National/ Kit ply Synthetic enamel paint :- Apcolite of Asian / Superlac of Shalimar / Luxol of Burger / Pentilite of Dulux / Brolac of Jenson & Nicholson

(b) M&L of GI pipe 32mm dia medium grade for long rail 1880 mm length each and threading both ends as per drawing complete all as directed.

(c) Cutting the dismantled GI pipe 32mm dia long rail from Sl No1.10 and modifying into one short rail and one leg. The short rail threading both ends as per drawing and legs including threading as per drawings, providing new MS sheet 3mm thick 50mm dia made to shape and continuously welded to the bottom and MS Sheet piece applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as directed.

(d) Cutting the dismantled GI pipe 32mm dia short rails from ser no 1.10 and modifying into legs including threading as per drawings, providing new MS sheet 3mm thick 50mm dia made to shape and continuously welded to the bottom and MS Sheet piece applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as directed. Note : Each leg shall be measured separately.

(e) GI elbow 32 mm dia medium grade 3 way suitable for GI pipe charpoy conforming to relevant IS with ISI mark complete all as directed.

(f) Check nut 6 mm dia suitable for 32mm dia GI pipe charpoy of weight not less than 100 gms each complete all as directed.

(g) Assembling the GI charpoy with serviceable members as retrieved vide Sl item No 1.1 here-in-before and new modified / supply only members as obtained vide Sl item No 1.3 to 1.8 here-in-before all as per drawing complete all as directed.
