Notes applicable to Schedule ‘A’ :- (i) The items considered in this Schedule ‘A’ are for fault repair and maintenance of HT infrastructure at Kanasar Military Station. The rates quoted shall deemed to be included this aspect. (ii) The fault in HT electric supply system and requisite maintenance shall be intimated any time round the clock to the contractor through complaint slip and/or telephonically by the representative of AGE and same must be rectified by the contractor within 08 hours of intimation. If contractor fails to rectify the fault within 08 hours, a penalty at the rate of Rs. 200/- per hour shall be imposed on the contractor after 08 hours till the fault is rectified. A complaint Log Book in this regard shall be maintained by the contractor duly signed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Supplying and laying factory made, un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid as cable protection cover in trenches, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 150 Sqmm, 3 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable HT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

All as per serial item No 7.00 here-in-before but of size 95 Sqmm 3 Core complete all as specified & as directed.

Testing and fault locating of HT undergroung cable with the help of cable fault locator machine at site including removal of moisture content from cable complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- The machine for locating of fault will be arranged by the contractor .The quoted rate is included for the fault locating machine. Necessary excavation, earthwork etc measured and paid separately under Sch 'A').

M&L for cleaning, removing dust, pigeon poo and other foreign materials on external surface of VCB with required chemical and rubbing by micro amren paper and making surface rust free and aesthetic look complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing, etc by trench less technology using necessary machine / manually without disturbing the top surface suitable for passing the GI protection pipe / cables, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 80mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of HT electric cable including taking down old unserviceable protection pipe with clamps complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 100mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of HT electric cable including taking down old unserviceable protection pipe with clamps complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

S&F Switch air break, gang operated outdoor, Horizontal operated type, HT 11 KV, Triple pole, 200 Amps, 9 insulator suitable for horizontal mounting fixed contacts of phosphorous bronze and moving contacts of copper, manually operated from ground level with operating mechanism including GI tubing medium grade 32mm bore operating rod, pad locking arrangements, MS arcing horns, flexible braiding earthing blades, rod and contacts without drop out fuse assembly and jumpers with Mink conductor line, taps, clamps, colour coated HT sleeves and fittings suitable for vertical mounting, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Drop out expulsion fuse assembly with fuse carrier, triple pole, HT 11000 Volts, 25 Amps, outdoor type (having two Nos post insulator mounted on MS channel for each pole) and jumpers with conductors line taps, clamps, colour coated HT sleeves and fitting, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to existing two/ three/Four pole gang operated air break switch horizontal/vertical throw incl taking down old unsv male/female contact set and providing in replacement new male female contact set copper with silver coated ,spring loaded suitable for 400 Amps complete with jumpers from GOD to OH line & DO to GOD complete with thimbles incl HT tape reqd for repairing HT end termination joint complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft/loose soil if required and clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured one metre above ground level) surrounding Transformers, 02 Pole structures, 04 Pole Structures, 33/11 KV structure etc at various sub stations / E&M installations and removing rubbish upto a distance not exceeding 50m outside the periphery of the area under clearance complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preventive maintenance / repairing by opening and taking out the Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) 11/33 KV 630 Amp, type VMX from panel and carry out the general maintenance such as oiling & greasing the mechanical parts, motor, gear, lever spring, operating rod, cleaning the female contacts, tightening of nuts and bolts, cleaning the male and female contact of panel, oiling the bus bar shutter, checking the AC/DC wiring, circuit including control fuses and circuit jack, on/off push button, indicating lamp, voltmeter, ammeter, PF meter, replacement of minor parts (where required) and testing after re-inserting the VCB in panel complete all as specified & as directed. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch 'A' as "Supply Only"

(iv) The test shall be provided from authorized agency.

Supply and fixing in replacement of battery backed power pack having input 110 or 230V AC, output 24/110/220 Volt DC and continous load 100 VA as per IEC 60947-1 & IEC 61000-4/5 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cable route indicator made of Jodhpur stone of finished size 120cm x 20cm x 8cm with round top and all finished surfaces duly marked with ‘HT’ lettering of size 6cm x 6cm engraved on two sides of the stone and letters painted with thick synthetic enamel paint of suitable colour including necessary excavation & earthwork complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) These shall be fixed along the route of cable at 50 meter interval & on every turning & cable joint as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface of 11 KV VCB installed at Kanasar cantt area by using coarse cloth/sore brush and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel light grey paint with the help of spray gun, including writing SM No./MES No. with paint on black base complete all as specified and as directed.
