Earthing with and including GI earth plate electrode 6 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 4 Sq.mm GI wire earthing lead complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in Particular Specifications clause 19.1.1 of contract, IN REPLACEMENT.

Earthing with and including GI earth plate electrode 6 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 25 mm x 4 mm GI strip earthing lead complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in Particular Specifications clause 19.1.1 of contract, IN REPLACEMENT.

NOTES APPLICABLE TO SERIAL ITEM 1 to3: (a) The unit rate includes earthing lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (b) Factory made PCC pit with cover shall be fixed at least 500 mm away from earth pit. (c) Earth resstance shall be less than 3 ohm. In case the test results are not found less than 3 ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

Earthing with and including copper earth plate electrode 3.15 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 20 mm x 3 mm copper earthing strip complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in Particular Specifications clause 19.1.2 of contract, IN REPLACEMENT. NOTE: (a) The unit rate includes earthing lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (b) Factory made PCC pit with cover shall be fixed at least 500 mm away from earth pit. (c) Earth resstance shall be less than 2 ohm. In case the test results are not found less than 3 ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

Maintenance free chemical pipe-in-pipe earthing electrod as per HEX Cat No. HSPG-503-100 (using hot dip galvanised pipe) or equivalent in TRUEPOWER including necessary excavation & earth work by making bore of 80 mm dia and 3500 mm in depth, all as recommended by manufacturers and connecting to earthing strip with necessary nuts, washers and bolts, IN REPAIR/REPLACEMENT, complete.

Maintenance free chemical pipe-in-pipe earthing electrod as per HEX Cat No. HSPC-503-100 (using copper plated pipe) or equivalent in TRUEPOWER including necessary excavation & earth work by making bore of 80 mm dia and 3500 mm in depth, all as recommended by manufacturers and connecting to earthing strip with necessary nuts, washers and bolts IN REPAIR/REPLACEMENT, complete.

NOTES APPLICABLE TO SERIAL ITEM 5 & 6: (a) Earth resistance should be less than one Ohm. In case the test results are not found below one Ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by contractor without any extra cost to Govt . (b) Pipe earth electrod shall be inserted into the bore and spece around will be filled wth Back Fill Compound TERRAHEX of M/s HEX or equivalent conforming to IEC 62561-7 & RoHs2 standards. (c) Pit & cover shall be of precast PCC of size as per manufacturers recommendation. (d) "Performance Guarantee" as mentioned in PS clause 19.1.5.

Maintenance free Eco safe corrosion resistant earthing comprising the followings:-- (a) High tensile low carbon steel earth 3 metre Iength and 17.2mm dia with 250 micron (average) molecularly bonded copper on the outer surface to conform with requirement of UL467 & IEC 62561-2 (Dia of the rod & UL Control Number alloted to the manufacturer should be embossed on the rod & UL certificate from the same manufacturer shall be submitted along with the material) (b) Back-fill earthing enhancing compound should strictly be a Eco Safe Carbon based conductive concrete type which has a resistivity of less than 0.12 Ohm Mtr as per Clause 14.5D of IEEE : 80 standard . Back-fill compound should be electronically conductive (Like in metals) and should not depend on mositure for conduction. Jef Eco Safe Carbon based compound shall be supplied in 20 Pounds Bag. Back-fill compound should be enviorment friendly, should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete and should not leach / diffuse into the ground. Back-fill compound shall not be mixed with any soil while pouring in the bore hole. Test Certificate as per as per IEC : 62561-7 for Back-fill compound shall be submitted along with material. (c) Earth termination clamp either of gun matel / tinned copper or tinned brass for termination both round and flat conductors of required size (d) Supply of enviormently friendly rust proof heavy duty weather proof High Density Polyethlene (HDPE) Earth Pit Chamber.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified, IN REPLACEMENT, with & including the following: -

Copper strip of size 20mm x3mm.

NOTES: (a) Strips to be fixed with porcelain/polymer insulators at the intervals of 0.6 metre so as not to be in electrical contact with building structure. (b) Brazing shall be done on both sides (overlapping) at all joints except test point.

GI light grade 40 mm bore tube, ISI marked, cut to piece of 1.00 metre length, fixed verticall from bottom in & including PCC(1:2:4) type B-1 block of size 200 mm x 200 mm x 150 mm including necessary form work, fixed to air termination rod with necessary bolts, nuts as required, complete all as specified.

Earth indicators made of 2 mm thick MS sheet of oval / triangular / rectangular shape of size 30 cm x 20 cm duly fixed over MS angle iron of size 25 x 25 x 3mm in size 0.9 metre in total length and 30 cm embedded in below ground level and 60 cm above ground level and angle iron embedded in cement concrete of 1:3:6 type C-2, of size 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm painting the steel surfaces with two coats of red paint for chemical earpits and yellow paint for lightining arrester( LA), power supply(PS) earth pits over coat of red oxide and writing the earth pit indication in alphabets with black colour of one inch height and marking all as per the direction of Engg -in-Charge and including necessary earth work and returning filling and removal etc all as directed by the Engg-in-Charge.

Recharging of normal earth pits by excavating the earth at a radius of 600mm from the centre from the earth pit and at a depth of 900mm after removing the earth chambers and accessories carefully and keeping aside for reuse including adding and spreading Charcoal 10 Kg and Salt 10 Kg in 75mm layers each at ground level and watering, refixing the earth chambers and accessories after allowing the soil to settle down complete all as directed by Engg-in charge.

Porcelain strip holder on wall and roof of suitable size, IN REPLACEMENT, complete.

Testing only of exisiting earthing resistance with suitable digital Earth tester and recording the readings and pouring salt water into earth pit through watering pipe by mixing the same with water to maintain earth resistance value of earthing within permissible limit complete NOTE:- (a) Salt measured & paid sparately under respective items. (b) Earth resistance should be less than one Ohm for equipments & less than 5 Ohm for LA & power supply. (c) A register will be maintained by contractor each testing with location / Bldg wise.
