Fresh water supply line incoming from BMC , and sewage line to BMC main sewage pipeline and various other installations,and manning duty round the clock in shifts as intimated by Engr in charge by operator having minimum 3 years experience in FGM/pump operation, carrying out of manning duties incl Sunday/Holidays:- FGM- Skilled - 10 Nos As per user requirement in any shift slot within three shifts ( 10 Nos-shifts x 11 months = 110)

Manning and operation for attending breakdowns of STP, including internal lighting and daily maintenance of the STP and manning duty in two shifts by operator having minimum 3 years experince in same field. carrying out of manning duties by deploying the under mentioned manpower in two shifts incl Sunday/Holidays:- FGM - 04 Nos. Shift timings of above are as under:- (a) First shift: 0600 hr to 1400 hr (b) Second shift: 1400 hr to 2200 hr Total FGM- Skilled - 04 Nos (02 persons x 02 shifts x 11 months = 44)

Shift timings of above are as under:- (a) First shift: 0600 hr to 1400 hr (b) Second shift: 1400 hr to 2200 hr Mate FGM- Unskilled - 02 Nos (02 persons x 01 shifts x 11 months = 22)

NOTES FOR ITEM NO 1.00 to 3.00:- (i)The duty for each shift at various freshwater/sewage pump house or above mentioned location inside Naval Dockyard area as directed by Engineer -in-Charge/ SMCM. (ii) The operator (skilled FGM) shall be having qualification not less than ITI or equivalent certified course from state/ central govt recognized institute, The semi skilled mate FGM shall be having qualification not less than 12 pass. (documents in regards to meeting criteria shall be ascertained by Engr-in-charge and GE before payment of RAR).

(iii) The cost of employment of supervisior and any assitance required to operate and maintain the installations by operating staff shall deemed to be included in above quoted rates. (iv) Each shift shall be of continuous 8 hours durations. As per industrial act one person should not be continued on duty for more than 06 days and he should be given weekly off day for his personal maintenance and one reliver should be employed for off duty by contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.The quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive for provision of reliever on duty and leave periods on all days including Sundays/Gazetted Holidays. (v) The cost for maintenance of documents installations charts and daily records as mentioned in clauses of relevant particulars specifications shall deemed to be included in the rates quoted for above items.

(vi) The operator on duty shall wear proper uniform of light blue colour shirt and dark blue trouser duly printed name as MES and contractor with all protective arrangement during the duties like shoes, gloves etc and required tools for operation and maintenance of installation.The quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of minor services like greasing of bearings, replacment of glands/ rubber coupling, belts etc (vii) The installation shall be handed over in operating state on the commencement of contract though work order. (viii) Antecedents of the Personnel engaged by the contractor to carry out the work shall be verified from police authorities and accordingly security passes shall be issued. (ix) The contractor shall be solely responsible for all personnel deployed for carrying out the above jobs and all transport required for conveyance. The quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of EPF & GST etc all as per latest norms of labour Commissioner.

x) The labourers shall be provided with protective devices and shall wear them while working. In case any accident/ injury/ fatal or partial disability happened, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims/ compensation. Department will have a right to recover any sum indicated/ claimed by Labour Commissioner/ Court directive. (xi) Contractor has to render a certificate/ confirmation every month that minimum wages act is not violated and every employee engaged have been paid their wages through aadhar linked bank account only and laborers in full and receipts there on obtained. (xii) In case the absence of operator, the Accepting Officer and the Engineer-in-Charge (GE and AGE E/M) shall impose penalty of Rs 500/- per hour.The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority .

(xiii) The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority.If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost given in SCH A Note on Page No 14 the lowest bidder will have to depost FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days of opening of financial bid (cover No 2). (xiv) The deposited amount shall be the difference between estimated cost given at SCH A Note on Page No 14 and amount quoted by lowest bidder for respective item. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work. If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to employees, the department shall have right to with hold the said amount which will beverified by GE. The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amont to be withheld shall be final and binding. The withheld amount will be utilised by GE for payment to employees if contractor fails to pay minimum wages and balance amount if any shall only be released. If the lowest bidder fails to deposit the amount as stated above within 07 days, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & his bid shall be rejected. The contractor shall submit 03 Nos of BGBs/FDRs of equal amount as mentioned above. The BGBs/FDRs validity shall be 04 months, 08 month & 12 months respectively for the purpose of encashment release as the case may be. xv) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of suitable reliver wherever sundays & holidays are mentioned for working.

Material and labour for Cleaning of sewage well/tank of any size by following steps:- (i) Dewatering with submersible / sludge pump to empty the sump/tank upto base level. (ii) Removing sludge from sump wall and bottom with the help of special sludge pump and remaining dirt , hidden in rough slots of the bottom mannualy with brush. (iii) After cleaning the sump apply bleaching powder for disinfection of sump including painting of iron grills of the chamber cover with black paint all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Sewage must be collected in sewage vehicle and disposed at sewage disposal area .

Material and labour for cleaning and sterilization of inside of under ground sump of capacity upto 10,000 gallons by using approved chemical including arrangement of necessary tools & plants, labour etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge: The stages for cleaning shall be as under :- (a) Mechanised dewatering of water storage tanks (b) Removal of Sludge lying on the bottom of tank. (c) Cleaning of Internal walls of tank through High pressure Rotary jets. (e) Spraying of Potassium permanganate Inside the tanks as anti- bacterial agent.

Material & labour for carrying out following parameters test at NABL accredited lab complete all as specified and direcetd. The parameter are as follows: (a) BOD (Bio chemical oxygen demand) (b) COD (Chemical oxygen demand) (c) Oil and grease (d) Total Suspended solids (TSS) (e) pH (f) DO ( Dissolved oxygen) (g) E coli Note: The rate quoted shall be deemed to include transportation cost & cost of items reqd for collection .

Material and labour for emptying the sewage tank (during taking up & during lowering ) ,dismantling and disconnecting of all electrical connections of non clog submersible pump of any capacity, taking out from sewage well shifting it to work shop for repairing/rewinding and reassembling ,transporting back to site after repair , lowering it to sewage well , testing and commissioning complete all as specifiecd and directed by Engr-in- charge. Note (i) Sewage tank will be emptied by sewage vehicle and sewage will be disposed at sewage disposal site and rate shall be inclusive of that. (ii) All spare parts required for repair and rewinding shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of schedule.

Material and labour for, Dismantling/ opening the burnt motor, (Rotor & stator ) rewinding the motor with super enamelled copper winding as per existing gauge including insulation material cotton, tape, varnish, insulation paper, sleeves and dry and baking etc including replacing of bearing,oiling and reassembling complete motor complete all as directed Note : (i) Oil seal,impeller will be measured and paid for separately (ii) The contractor will furnish six months warranty against any kind of defect for the repair carried out after the date of installation (for STP motor/Centrifugal motor) The Motor to be installed under bottom of Dock

Material and labour for disconnecting the suction and delivery pipe lines, electric and water connections of centrifugal motor pump set of capacity and removing it from its position carefully (from sump /floor) and transporting the same to the workshop for carrying out necessary repairs and refixing the same in its original position and re-connecting up of water and electric connections including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Expendable stores like cotton waste / cleaning materials, lubricants, gland packing, metal filling, machining and transportation from site to the work shop and back are deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (ii) Labour element is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted

Material and labour for lifting of Submersible pump alongwith pipe and connected items of any capacity from borewell upto depth of 15mtr for rewinding/repairing and lowering after repair work and connecting testing complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rewinding of the submersible motor with PVC insulated copper conductor winding wire of ‘F’ class heavy grade insulation weight and turns to achieve its full efficiency including tying the winding and connecting the coils and bringing the connections as that of exisitng one including replacing of bushes/bearing,oil seal,impeller ,shaft ,Gland plate ,Coupler ,oiling and reassembling of complete motor for submersible motor upto 30HP complete all as directed Note : (i) Bushes,bearing ,impeller,shaft,seal,gland plate,coupler will be measured and paid for separately (ii) Cost of minor spares such as nuts bolts washers etc is deemed to be inclusive in the rate quoted (iii) The contractor will furnish six months warranty against any kind of defect for the repair carried out after the date of installation.
