PART A - CIVIL WORK

Providing and Laying hot applied thermoplastic road marking strip on Bituminous Surface of specified shade/ colour of 2.5 mm thick including 1.5 Refractive index reflectorizing glass beads @ 250gm/sqm .Thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35:2015. Initial Dry reflectivity RL shall be > 250 mcd/sqm/lux measured in the initial 7 days and sustained reflectivity RL of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux and Qd of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux measured at the end of 2 years by means of a Standard Reflectometer of Zehntner, Easylux, Delta make capable of measuring RL & QD both according to IRC 35:2015 clause 15.5. The finished surface to be level, uniform, and free from streaks and holes complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and in accordance with applicable specifications.(Refer MORTH Clause 803 for technical Specification and Performance for IRC 35:2015).

Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer.

Providing and fixing pre-cast Central Median divider Type NPD-1 of R.M.C, M25 C.C. on Road as per drawing, finished neatly, compacting, curing, form work, etc, including Reinforcement as per drawing, bedding R.M.C, M-10 C.C, 15 cm thick, filling of joints in C.M. 1:2 & painting the exposed surface with 3 coat of road marking paint, Grade-I of approved colour and quality including required excavation in C.C, asphalt etc. and removing the same any where in City & Sub limit, levelling the same as specified and as directed by the Engineer.

Scrapping the old plastered internal surface with sand paper and coating the entire surface with mixture of whiting or glue and linseed oil including scaffolding etc. complete as directed

Providing and applying white-wash in two coats on old / new plastered or masonry surfaces and asbestos cement sheets including scaffolding and preparing the surface by brushing and brooming down etc. complete

Providing applying Yellow & Black road marking paint grade –I in 3- coats including single coat of approved brand primer after cleaning of old surface of any type divider with brushing by wire brush as per relevant I. S. codes to satisfaction of Engineer in charge etc. complete.

Providing applying Yellow & Black road marking paint grade –I in 3- coats including single coat of approved brand primer after cleaning of old surface of kerb stone with brushing by wire brush as per relevant I. S. codes to satisfaction of Engineer in charge etc. complete.

Providing and casting in situ or precast tapering R.C.C. M-20 Barrier type Kerb with gutter ( as per IRC 86 1983) embedded 125mm below ground level over M-10 PCC finished neatly with C.M. 1:2, setting the same in C.M. 1:2, including the required excavation in any strata and removing the excavated stuff any where in city and redoing the surface as specified and directed by Engineering In-charge.
