Conveying the surplus excavated earth & debris, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at places inside DAE installation identified as Dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of Rock from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Lead charges for lead Exceeding 3 kilometre but not exceeding 4 kilometre

All kinds of soil with depth upto 1.5m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth upto a lead of 50 metres.

Collection, supplying and stacking good quality Red earth without stones, gravel etc., and stacking for premeasurement at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Collection, supplying and stacking of Decomposed dry farmyard manure without undesirable materials, stacking the same to at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Development of lawn including 150mm digging and levelling the surface of the earth, area cleaning, collection, supply & planting Stenotophrum/Paspalam grass of good quality including conveyance, cost of grass and plants etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Without supply of Grass

Collection, supply and spraying of pesticides / fungicides / growth regulators in the lawn area and hedges by sprayer etc., including cost of collection, supply and spraying of pesticides / fungicides /growth regulators etc., all as per specification.

Clearing & removal of ant hill mount of size 0.75 metres to 1.2 metres dia at base and height above 1.0 metres etc. including cost of chemicals, labour and all other incidental charges for injecting termicide emulsion to the soil, levelling the area, conveying of debris with 3km lead complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Trimming road side tree branches, replanting of fallen trees / branches including collecting and disposing the fallen trees / branches at places shown by department all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: In IGCAR Plant site fallen trees shall be disposed to the disposal yard near KKM gate.

Development of lawn including 150mm digging and levelling the surface of the earth, area cleaning, collection, supply & planting mexigan grass [1:4] (Dibbling method) of good quality including conveyance, cost of mexigan grass and plants etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply of extendable long cutter pole saw for trimming the tree branches of approved brand. the pole shall be made up of fibre glass material of 40 mm dia can be extended to a height of minimum 4.00 metre and saw blade is of minimum 350 mm length and 1.2mm thick made from high –carbon alloy steel and sharpened on 3 sides for the smoothest of cuts. Note: product shall be confirmed by engineer-in-charge before procurement

Planting the existing plants / saplings in required site taken from nursery, including formation of pits, spreading & filling of red earth and farm yard manure to an average thickness of 50mm, conveyance from nursery, planting and initial watering all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1.The rate shall exclude the cost of red earth and farm yard manure used for planting operation.2.Which will be paid under relevant item.

Hiring JCB for Leveling, bull-dozing the heeped/ dumped loosened earth/ debris etc

Providing and supplying of polythene bags for plants of different sizes with 600 micron thickness black color etc., all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Removal and uprooting tree roots with necessary excavation cutting the lateral roots, conveying the uprooted tree roots at the places as directed including filling the excavated pits all as per specification.

Supplying and fixing the following sizes of Hunter or Rain bird or approved equivalent make spray type popup nozzles including cost of all specials ( 63 x 40mm and 40 x 32 mm PVC reducer,32 mm MTA /FTA and32 mm dia 400 mm length PVC Pipe ( 6 kgs/sq.cm ),nessary stainer,fixing, aligning, testing, commissioning etc. complete as per standard specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees etc., in garden area non- sprinklers areas by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges, and the unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc. 3. Lawn maintenance shall be carried out daily and payment shall be made on monthly basis per Sq.m/Month. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers. 5. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 20 Paise / Sq.m. will be levied as penalty from RA Bill 6. Contractor has to engage 1 labour for every 1500 Sq.m/day throughout the month. Failure to employ the above minimum number of labour, will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 7. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during thier working hours.

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees etc., in garden area by using Department sprinklers for watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges, and the unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. The area not maintained by contractor is deducted then and there. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers. If departmental lawn movers is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 20 Paise / Sq.m. will be levied as penalty from RA Bill. 6. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 2200 sq. m /day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 7. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during thier working hours.
