Special repairs to road from Runway periphery to Officer accommodation at OTM and from retreat junction to MT workshop at INS Baaz, Campbell Bay

M & L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm and exc 50 mm and n. exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 150 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM in two layers (75mm Each) , with Granite coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required.

Preparing surfaces of WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer with paving bitumen (VG-10) at 10 kg per 10 sq metre over WBM Surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to pot holes of depth exceeding 30mm and area not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surface in roads path etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) using paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premix bitumen macadam with binder content 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of VG-30,laid rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less ) complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing surfaces of bitumen macadam or old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer with paving bitumen (VG-10) at 5 kg per 10 sq metre over bitumen macadam or existing black top Surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick (consolidated thickness ) with paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne roller complete all as specified and directed

M&L for two coat of water based Painting as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads pavements and the like not exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow as specified and directed.
