CWE/CHD-65/2026-27 SPECIAL REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT OF BER/ VINTAGE TRANSFORMERS (05 NOs) ALONGWITH CONNECTED ITEMS AT N AREA AND HALLOMAJRA UNDER GE CHANDIGARH

Taking out of transformers of capacity 50 KVA to 200 KVA carefully from two pole/ four pole structure and deposit in in MES store yard complete all as specified and as dierected by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out/ down carefully old/ unserviceable HT UG cable of any type/ size from trenches/ pole/ duct after disconnecting from Pole/ busbar box fixed on pole, removing cable protection PCC covers/ bricks & stacking serviceable covers/ bricks for reuse complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling air break gang operated switches, vertical/ horizontal mounted including insulators and operating mechanism for repair/ replacement of broken/ worn out components and insulators etc. or carrying to MES store complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 200 KVA outdoor transformer, level 3, floor mounted, 11 KV on HT side and 433 volts on LT side at no load step down DYN 11, 3 phase, 50 c/s, AC, double copper wound, oil immersed, naturally cooled with external cooling tubes core type. Transformer with off load tapping on HT side to vary secondary voltage +- 7.5% in steps of +-2.5 %. The transformer shall conform to Level-3, IS-1180: 2014, oil shall conform to IS-335. The temp rise shall not exceed 40 degeree centigrade (when measured by resistance method) for winding and 35 degree centigrade (meaured by thermometer) for top oil when tested in accordance with IS 2026 Para (2), copper wound, (losses shall be as per 2014 ammended up to date) transformer to be got tested from NABL approved Lab complete all as specified and directed. The transformer shall include the following:-

Contd.. (a) HV Bushing of suitable size. (b) LV glands and cable box of suitable size. (c) Oil conservator. (d) Dehydrating breather with first fill of dehydrating agent. (e) Thermometer pocket with thermometer dial of suitable size. (f) Two Earthing terminals on tank and take cover with lugs to suit 32 x 6 mm GI strip. (g) Rating Plate. (h) Terminal marking plate. (i) Oil level gauge. (j) Oil drain and filter valve. (k) Lifting lugs (l) Four plain rollers. (m) Oil filter plug with connection complete. (n) Extra bushing for neutral outside the cable box for providing independent earthing. (o) Oil filling hole with cap. (p) First filling of oil. (q) One cable box on LV side with one cable gland suitable for reception of 01 No upp to 3.5 core 400 sqmm LT cable.

All as per Srl item No. 4.00 here-in-before but of capacity 160 KVA , complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply of 11KV Extensible Outdoor duty (IP 55 enclosure) SF6 gas insulated 4-way motor operated Ring Main Unit comprising of 2 nos. 630 Amps Vacuum Circuit Breaker as incomer and 2nos. 630 AmpsVacuum Circuit Breaker as outgoing , cable termination from the front, breaking capacity 21KA/3sec (Internal Arc Classification AFLR 21kA-1sec with Bottom Exhaust both for tank and cable box as per IEC 62271-200), enclosed in insulated welded stainless steel tank having IP67 Degree of Protection, leak rate of SF6 gas less than 0.1% and tested as per IEC 60056/60694/60298. Protection CTs shall be ring core type, complete all as specified and directed. The outer enclosure shall have IP 55 protection, it should be Top Opening Canopy type, Indoor RMU placed inside Outdoor Enclosure should not be acceptable. Both the Load break switch and Breaker should have line side earth switch. Both incomer should be electrically & mechanically interlock complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make of RMU : SIEMENS (8DJH-ST)/ SCHNEIDER (FBX)/ ABB (SafePlus-XT).

(xi) Number of Short Circuit Operations at rated short circuit current of 25 kA for Breaker - 50 Nos. (xii) Earth switch should have 5 closing operation at short circuit current (making operations E2 class) independent of breaker. Earth switch manual closing shall be driven by a fast acting / snap action mechanism, independent of operator and VCB action. (xiii) Side and rear cable ntry is not acceptable, all operation, interlock, cable terminations and door shall be front side only.
