M & L for Forming 20mm wide expansion joint for full depth of PQC and filled with pre-formed expandable synthetic filler board of approved make, provision of closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyurethene foam back up rod of 20 mm dia and filled with pitch free polyurethene grey sealant (minimum depth of sealant above back up rod shall be 25 mm) conforming to BS-5212 (Type FB) priming the sides as recommended by manufacturers instructions and applying masking tapes on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tapes after sealant is applied, the sealant should have MAF + 30% as used in international Airport in India, complete, all as specified and directed.
M & L for Forming dummy joint using diamond cutter with initial saw cut with 3 mm blade soon after concrete sets for the depth of 127 mm, widening the first saw cut to 8 mm wide and 25 mm deep from top, priming top 15 mm with approved primer, applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and filling with polurethane /polysuphide based sealant MAF + 30% (BS-5212) to closed cell, medium density, cross linked polethylene foam back up rod of 10 mm dia, for complete width of the joint and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant and as specified and as per manufacutrer directions, complete, all as specified and directed.
M & L for Forming construction joint 28mm deep x 10mm wide using diamond cutter with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethene foam back up rod of 12mm dia applying bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint, priming top 10 mm with specified primer and filling with polyurethane based sealant (BS 5212), applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant and as specified and as per the directions of the manufacturer, complete all as specified and directed.

CHEMICAL EARTHING Supply, installation and testing of advanced encapsulatedcompound based, maintenance free, pipe-in-pipe technology upgraded (Zinc & Alloy coated), Zinc coated (80-100 microns) with pure zinc (99.9%) & Alloy coating (200-250 microns). Earth system should confirming as per IS:3043. The outer and inner pipe should be 48.3mm & 26.4 mm with 3 metres in length, Zinc coated with additional special alloy coating 300mm on the top side for aditional corrosion protection of the terminal. The annular space between the pipes being filled up with COMPACT FILL (CF) (cystalline conductive compound). The COMPACT FILL (CF) mixture which is machine pressed in the pipes should not disintegrate or collapse when outer pipe corrodes. The inner pipe should be extended with terminals for connectivity. The job includes digging the pits by rotary method and refilling the same by electrodite/conductolite back fill compound (ground enhancer), the BFC should be eco-friendly and should not contain environmentally hazardous material/metal having RoHS certification from NABL accredited lab. Good earth is to be arranged to fill the excavated pits by mixing the same with BFC2 bags(as per site condition) including PCC pit in cement concrete 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and RCC cover of size 450 x 450 x 50mm in RCC 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) reinforced with and including 8mm dia TMT bars @ 100mm C/C both ways, complete, all as specified and directed.
M & L for earthing complete with copper plate electrode 300 mm x 300 mm x 3 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with copper strip of size 20 x 3mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 32mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab of size 450 x 450mm (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on complete all as specified and as directed.
DG SET Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of Silent type diesel engine driven generating set 415 volts, 500 KVA, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 0.8 power factor, 1500 RPM, self excited, self regulated, brushless AC Generator in cluding accoustic enclosure suitable for ambient condition at JORHAT and confirming to IS: 10002, 13364 Part-I(1992), BS - 5514/5000 with the following ( The capacity of the generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant IS/BS standards):- (A) ALTERNATOR:- (i) Stanadard design alternator rated at 500 KVA at 0.8(lag) power factor, AC, 3 phase, 4 wire, 415 volts, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self excited, self regulated, screen protected, drip proof brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of +1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The depth and size of the foundation and PCC as recommended by the manufacturer. (D) ACCOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: (i) Manufactured by OEM suitable for 500 KVA DG set. (ii) Tested by NABL approved lab as per CPCB. (iii) It should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and pollution control board. (iv) The generating set battery shall be inside the enclosure. (v) Fuel tank shall be inside the enclosure and the fuel storage shall be enough for 12Hrs continuous operation. If required, arragemnt shall be provided outside the enclosure also, to achieve this requirement. (vi) Outer body & doors shall be of CRCA sheet of 1.6mm thick. (vii) sound insulation: 100mm thick rock wool (minimum density 64 Kg/Cum)/ fire resistance foam/puff as per OEM/ as per standard manufacturing to achieve desired decibel level. (viii) The accoustic enclosure shall be composite in construction and fully asembled integral unit. (ix) The DG set should be provided with external emegency stop push button. (x) The enclosure shall be suitably internally illuminated by CFL/FTL lamp fittings. (xi) The noise level should be 75dB at 1m under free field conditions. (xii) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be powder coated after pretreatment process. The base frame shall be painted with epoxy based balck shade.
An amount of Rs. 16,32,146.80 as stipulated in Schedule 'A' Part-XVIII (SCHEDULE OF CREDIT) will be from the total sum quoted by the contractor in this BOQ to arrive at the lumpsum.
