Periodical cleaning of equalizing tank/grit chamber/oil grease chamber/stiling chamber of Sewage water and removing by scrapping with wire brush or any other means from walls and bottom of tank and removing the sludge/silt/fungus deposited inside the sumps and tank with buckets and depositing where directed including removing media of settled down and making good the disturbed surfaces of walls internally or externally in cement mortar 1:3 as required and followed by cleaning with bleaching water solution and fresh water and finnaly applying one coat of snowcem on internal and external surfaces including writing the date of cleaning and due date of cleaning in white colour on black background on external walls complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (Location: 7BRD STP and capacity 250/300 KLD.) Note: The rate quoted by the tenderer is deemed to be included in the unit rate for the following aspects:- (a) Diesel driven pump set of appropriate caqpacity with operators including necessary POL required at site for de-watering of sewage septic water including PVC heavy duty flexible hose pipe for suction and delivery purpose.

Contd srl item No 1.00: (b) Lorry or tractor mounted storage tank of appropriate capacity not less than 3 KL should be used for disposing off the same to the location where apporoved by the MCD. (c) Necessary oxygen mask, gloves, gum boot and all other safety aspects to be observed including necessary Phawda, Steel Bucket, Manila rope etc required at site shall be arranged by the contractor.

M&L for cleaning and desilting the sewage well of capacity and dewatering the well of 100 to 125 cubic metre removing all the deposited sludge, soil and other material from the well including bailing/pumping out muddy water from the well by manually or by providing suitable pump sets from bottom level of well, scrapping out the scales/deposits from inner surface of the well thoroghly, washing with bleaching powder and soda ash, cleaning/bailing out settled materials completely by any means and removing sludge to a distance upto 3 KM outside of defence land limit and dispose off in low lying area including dewatering as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) Contractor is to arrange own diesel pump, T&P for cleaning purpose and minor spares and consumables like small screws, washers, cleaning agents consumables and safety measures taken while working in lift well shall be deemed to be included in the cquoted rate. (ii) The accumulated or deposited sludge after drying shall be disposed off outside the defence land to a distance exceeding 1.5 KM and not exceeding 5 KM form the lift well and cost of which shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate. (iii) Before commencement of work necessary arrangement for disposal of sewage/sludge be made and work to be carried out in fast pace by depolying more man power at lift well in order to complete the work at the earliest.

Supply only AQUAFIT-CHLORINE, 65%-70% (Calcium based granular disinfectant for water treatment, more stable than chlorine gas and stronger than bleaching powder and sodium hypochlorite) in 45 kg drum complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Carrying samples for testing of treated water of STP and submission of detailed test report to the office of the Engr-in-charge for the following aspects:- (a) Carrying out minimum essential testing of water as per IS-3025 & IS-1622 mandatory for chemical, colour, odour, PH value, TSS, BOD, COD, Total residual chlorine, total nitrogen, sulphate, oil and grease, anmmonical nitrogen (NH3-N) and bacteriological total coliform organism per 100 ml (MPN) and ecoli in 100 ml. (b) Treated sewage water shall confirm to the following characteristics:- (i) TSS < 10 mg/litre (ii) BOD < 10 mg/litre (iii) COD < 150 mg/litre (iv) Ph: 6.5 to 8.5 (v) Total coliform < 100 MPN/100ml (desired nil) (vi) Residual CI > 1 mg/litre Rest of the characteristics of the treated water shall be as per IS-3025 & IS-1622 Note: Cost of sterlized bottle and to and fro transportation charges for collection of samples shall be included in the quoted rates.
