SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ROAD OF CERTAIN UNITS AT DIPATOLI POCKET OF RANCHI MIL STN UNDER GE DIPATOLI

Repair to pothols any depth, not exc 1Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, paths, etc, cutting arround edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming including supply of road metal complete all as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam surface in area not exc. 400 sqm and exc 50mm but n.exc.100mm deep complete all as directed.

Screening road metal, chippings, etc on the site of the work, when speically ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (materials from both sides of screen measured) complete all as directed.

M&L 75mm thick, compacted thickness WBM with coarse aggregates granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 ( 63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled the surfaces by using 8 to 10 ton capacity power roller to consolidated thickness to meet gradient and required camber complete all as directed.

All as per ser item No 4 above but except materials.

M&L for Preparing surfaces of WBM surfaces with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleared surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 10 kg/10 sqm complete all as directed.

M & L for Pre-mix bituminous, macadam 4% binder content VG-30 by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less ) complete all as directed. (Mix shall be prepared from hot mix plant and spreading shall be with mechanical paver machine).

M& L Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer VG-10 at the rate 05 kg per 10 sq meter complete all as directed.

M&L Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete prepared in hot mix plant and spread with mechanical paver and rolled complete all as directed.

M&L for preparation bituminous surfaces of road and marking paint 1mm thick centre line, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instruction complete all as directed.

S&F in repair road stud reflective type of metal body alloy with PAMA strip lens reflector with MS stud of suitable size fixed with adhesive as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as directed.

S&F in repair solar road stud made of aluminium alloy , 100% water proof with high efficiency mono crystalling solar panel 2.4 V/ 0.30 watt , one Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd rechargable battery (1.2v/1600MA), six super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000 mcd, bearing weight of 10 tonnes (appx) fixed as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as directed.

S&F in repair metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 02 nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMPA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer three bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC type B-1, 1:2:4 (150x150x150mm) as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as directed.
