SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Removing the manhole cover (CI or RCC) for opening of septic tank, sockwells or manholes (any type rectangular or circular) of any size and any capacity in foul condition and bailing out of mudy water, taking out semi solid sludge/solid sludge/solid contents/night soil from tank by manually or mechanically by sewage suction pump (at contractor's discretion) making it fully functional and cleaning the internal surfaces with water to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including all necessary tools and plants required for removal of all wastes, solid or liquid sludge from the site through closed container and depositing the sludge in a pit (at empty /open area) of suitable size at any distance upto 200 metre from the line /colony area where directed and covering the same with the soil obtined from excavation of pit after treating the sludge by spreading the bleaching powder as directed to reduce the foul gases including all excavations and earthwork and refixing the manhole cover to its orginal position complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) All the tools and plants including mechanical pump , closed lorry and other allied arrangements for making septic tank clean and functional will be made available by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. (ii) The mode of measurement shall be considered 25% of the actual volume of septic tank /manholes (contains human excreta water). Cost for the dewatering /bailing out of mudy water shall be including in the unit rate (i.e. qty of solid sludge contents) nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, for taking out old pipe and laying new pipe line, for laying cable etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level of any description and in any position including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for PCC ( 1:4:8), type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with (old serviceable bricks obtained from demolition/dismantled item shall be reused ) straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes SGSW, AC or reinforced concrete pipe up to and including 150 mm bore pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 150mm bore (internal dia) salt glazed stone ware (SGSW) drain pipe, grade ‘A’, laid on concrete bed to required slope in trenches, jointing with packed spun yarn and in cement and sand mortar (1:1) and tested complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Excavation, earrh work and concrete bed shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.)

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in bed of drain pipe of size upto 150mm bore (internal) including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in manhole benching and coping, including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for plastering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on fare face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour pre-cast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in pre-cast manhole cover slabs of any thickness, size or shape including all necessary form work , finishing concrete surface fair & even and set in CM 1:4 all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & laying in position TMT bars of 6 mm to 8mm dia in reinforcement, cut to length, bend to shape required including cranking, bending, hooking ends & binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F mild steel work in rungs, hooks, handels, manhole covers, hold fast & small articles all as specified

S&F in repair SFRC (Steel fibre reinforced concrete) cover and frame (heavy duty HD-20 grade designation) size of cover 0.70 x 0.70 conferming to IS 12592, fixed in cement cocrete 1:2:4. complete all as specified.

Material and labour cutting into existing manholes/septic tank for connecting new drain upto 150mm internal dia, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round to 3/4 section) in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 smooth finished, and reforming benching as required complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

SCHEDULE 'A' ELECTRIFICATION WORKS

Supply and fixing galvanized steel tubing (GI pipe) medium grade 15mm bore ISI marked with all new fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. and fixed complete to walls, ceiling and laid in floor or concealed in walls including cutting chases in wall (as directed ) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls including cutting and threading of pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing bib tap cast copper alloy, chromium plated, with crutch or butterfly handle with capstan head, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing 450/300 mm long PVC connection 15mm size with PTMT nuts complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing stop valve/angle valve cast copper alloy, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed both end for iron pipe or for brass ferrule or for unions 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Cutting holes into or through brick walls built in mud mortar and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l as required and white washing/distempering to match the existing surface of wall the superficial area not exceed 150 Sqcm, complete all as specified.

M & L for Sub main wiring complete with one single core 2.5 sqmm,1100 volts grade, PVC insulated, multi stranded copper conductor cable FRLSH with continuous copper earth conductor of 1.5 sqmm in & including PVC conduit (ISI marked) size 20mm complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing Single pole and neutral enclosure with a two pin and earth plug and socket complete with one single pole MCB 20 Amps, 'C' curve, 240 Volts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F Sheet metal enclousers made out of CRCA mild steel sheet, double door, powder coated DB SPN 12 way 240 Volt, 200 Amps rated bus bar, dust and vermin proof suitable for incorporation of MCB's and isolators etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing isolator DP 40 Amps 415 Volts AC 'C' curve capacity not less than 10 KA ISI marked, 2 module, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long including fixing in aluminium strip with nut and bolt including PCC block of suitable size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing Copper strip 20 x 3.15mm fixed on wall or buried in ground or any other indicated situation complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including earth continuity copper strip 32x6 mm (upto test point from earth plate, i.e. 7.5m minimum) by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers and including protected by 40mm dia GI light grade protection pipe from earth plate to test point. Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layer of char coal/coke & salt all around bottom and top with alternative layer. 20mm GI light grade pipe for watering (should be 10cm above GL) and including socket, plug, funnel, wire mesh, CI cover 10mm thick hanged to CFI frame, PCC chamber pit made with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), including necessary form work, plastering to exposed surface, excavation and earth work in any type of soil , returning filling and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 (Part-I) complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-charge, including taking out/dismantling old unserviceable earthing system. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) Test point shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ. (iii) Earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and Satisfactorily test report forward to E8 section duly signed by all concerned along with running payment.

Supply and fixing test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hex head screw including junction box made out of GI sheet 2mm thick, suitable size appximate 200 x 150 x 60mm, with provision of openable side hung shutter easy to use for test point terminal, including making good to disturbed surfaces of wall complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting electric connection and taking down carefully old existing ceiling fan complete with hanging rod, canopy, clamp, rubber real, nut bolt etc but except fan regulator and Disconnecting electric connection & water connection and taking down carefully old existing Geyser ( any size/make and in any condition ceiling fan and geyser) from sites as directed and deposit it into AGE E/M Store yard complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for concealed Point wiring complete with 1.5 Sqmm (nominal cross section area) FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed and multi strand copper conductor cable 1100 volt (ISI marked) drawn through existing conduit, wiring for fan point (from existing board to ceiling fan), including provn of 1.0 Sqmm FRLSH PVC insulated multi strand copper conductor wire continues as earth wire connected to earth dolly etc. including taking out old wire carefully from conduit without disturbing other points (if any other points are in same conduit) and deposit it into AGE E/M Store yard complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Switches for fan point if required same shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ. (ii) During replacement of wire if other points are damage same shall be make good up to entire satisfication of Engineer-in-charge by the contractor, cost of same shall deemed to be included in the unit rate.

Supply and fixing (in replacement )stepped type (1-4/5), electronic Fan regulator 120 watt, 250 volts, regulator fixing in existing switch board on laminated sheet including making elctric connection and testing, including making fixing arrangement i.e. cutting of sheet if required or in lieu of blanking plate or in lieu of unserviceable regulator, including screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing (in replacement) switch piano flush type (ISI marked) as per existing make and shape or as directed , 5/6Amps, single pole, one way, fixing in existing switch board on laminated sheet including making elctric connection and testing, including making fixing arrangement i.e. cutting of sheet if required or in lieu of blanking plate or in lieu of unserviceable switch, including screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and hanging/fixing ceiling fan 1200 mm sweep most energy saver/energy-efficient available in induction motor in white/off white colour, copper winding, 3 Blade, single phase, 230 volts 50 Hz double ball bearing, dust proof alongwith hanging rod (length as per site requirement or as directed by Engineer-in-charge), canopy (lower and upper), rubber real, nut bolts, lock pin etc. including making electrical connection with flexible round twin core multi strand copper cable suitable size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Srl Number of ceiling fan and 'GE North BTD' shall also be writing on fan with red colour permanent marker, cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate, nothing shall be paid extra on this account, Srl number will be issued by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Ceiling fan installed/hanging at various locations as directed by Engineer-in-charge with in the Jurisdiction of GE North Bathinda (from market to AGE E/M store/AGE E/M store to sites /Location, all conditions will be the responsibility of contractor and nothing extra will be admissible on this account (iii) Contractor will submit the certificate of most energy saver/energy efficient in induction from minimum three manufactures.

Supply and fixing water heater (Geyser) storage type of capacity 50 Ltrs, energy saver/energy-efficient Star rating, 230V, 2KW element, single phase AC supply, inner tank made out of heavy duty stainless steel sheet glass line coated, having pressure release valve, non return valve and drain valve, thermostat with auto cut off etc, hanging on wall with 4 Nos steel fastners 10mm dia 100mm long and making good the disturbed surface as per existing surfaces, including electric, earthing and water connection to geyser and testing on load ( Filled with water ) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge/JE complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
