For Cracks & Seepages in Walls

Surface to be free from frost, surface laitance and contamination free from loose aggregate or other sharp protrusions with fairly smooth finish for application of waterproof coating prime the surface with water. Cut open of grooves (15 mm x 15 mm ) any voids and cracks to be filled up by means of “ V ” groove, using Renderoc CS for cracks less than 1.5 mm. Renderoc Sp 40 for cracks upto 15 mm cracks. Note : The methodology is to be followed as per manufacture specification or site conditions with respect to engineer

Drilling of holes and fixing of nozzles of 8/12mm dia (PVC) for carring out cement/Epoxy injection grouting and Fix and Close the nozzles with PVC/GI NRV Packers and Renderoc Plug including cost of labour, tools equipments etc complete as per the specification.

Carrying out cementitious pressure grouting with 40 psi pump using Cebex 100 @ 225gms mixed to 50 kg bag of cement including joints packing in the required consistency through the pre fixed PVC nozzles in the required dia holes, fixing of PVC nozzles with Renderoc Plug and final cutting the projected nozzles and sealing off the PVC nozzles after the injection operation is over with Renderoc plug, nonshrink rapid setting mortar compound, finishing, curing etc. as per manufacturers specification and as directed.

Providing and applying Fosroc Dekguard E 2000 water based primer + two coats of acrylic, breathable, elastomeric, water based, anti-carbonation coating to all concrete members above ground. Coating must be applied to achieve total dry film thickness of not less than 200 microns and shall have Carbon dioxide diffusion resistance equivalent air layer thickness (DIN EN 1062-6) > 50 m; Carbon dioxide diffusion resistance equivalent air layer thickness (Taywood Method) = 240 m; Carbon dioxide diffusion resistance equivalent thickness of 30N concrete (Taywood Method) >500 mm; Carbon dioxide diffusion resistance co-efficient (DIN EN 1062-6) > 7.50 X 10^5; Elongation of cured film shall be (ASTM D 412) > 200%; Chloride Ion Penetration (ASTM C 1202-03) = Very Low (100 to 1000 Coulombs); Tear Resistance (ASTM D 624) = 12 N/mm; Static Crack spanning capability (ASTM C 836-Modified) = 2mm; UV Resistance (ASTM D 4587,Condition E Cycle 1 from ASTM G154) > 500 Hours; Reduction in Water Absorption (ASTM C642) > 82%; Adhesion (ASTM D 4541) > 1 N/mm2 and Solar Reflectove Index of 105 amd emissivity > 93% as per ASTM E 1980, etc, complete. For Cracks Seepages and for Water Retains in RCC

Supply and application of polyurethene based injection grout by M/S Fosroc chemicals Nitofill WS60 which produces a rapid setting foam in the presence of running water. When the flow of water is stopped the cracks are reinjected with Fosroc Nitofill UR63. The surface of the crack must be sealed and injection nipples bonded in place before Nitofill UR63 is injected using polyester resin grout Renderoc Plug. The PU grout should have a pot life of 20 minutes at 35°C and a velocity of 3 poise. Product used shall have CE marking and compliance according to Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC (CPD), including cost of material, labour, tools etc as per the Spectification. Note : This product to be used for celing,soffit,slabs areas where it is having cracks.White leaching spots to be treated from bottom as identified at site.

For Strengthing of Existing RCC Structures

Supply and grouting of epoxy resin Conbextra EP10 in all the honey comb & cracked surfaces. Mixing and injection of grout using mechanical grouting pumps and with GI NRV packers for epoxy grouting. Note For Strengthing of Existing RCC structures

Cutting of Existing hooks, drilling upto a depth of 500mm and fixing the new anchorages of required shape and size, using Fosroc Nitomorar Plug a polyester resin grout including cost of labour, material, equipment etc. as per specification.

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in rough excavation, banking excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with ½ tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers, and rolling every 3rd and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes and dressing up in embankments for roads, flood banks, marginal banks and guide banks or filling up ground depressions, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m : All Kinds of soils

Providing & applying a coat of residual petroleum bitumen of grade of VG-10 of approved quality using 1.7kg per square metre on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with brushes and finally with apiece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil.

Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm

SUBHEAD-I :EARTH WORK & EXCAVATION

Cleaning of exposed concrete surface of sticking material including loose and foreign material by sand blasting with coarse sand followed by and including cleaning with oil free air blast as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying in situ seven course water proofing treatment with APP (Atactic poly-propylene) modified Polymeric memberane over roof consisting of first coat of bitumen primer @ 0.40 litre per sqm, 2nd, 4th & 6th courses of bonding material @ 1.20 Kg/sqm, which shall consist of blown type bitumen of grade 85/25 conforming to IS : 702, 3rd and 5th layers of roofing membrane APP modified Polymeric membrane 1.5 mm thick of 2.25 Kg/sqm weight consisting of five layers prefabricated with centre core as 20 micron HMHDPE film sandwiched on both sides with polymeric mix and the polymeric mix is protected on both side with 20 micron HMHDPE film. 7th, the top most layer shall be finished with brick tiles of class designation 10 grouted with cement mortar 1:3 (1cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound by weight of cement over a 12 mm layer of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) and finished neat (item of laying brick tiles shall be paid for separately).

Repair to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Surface preparation the existing paint, surface contaminations, fungus and other micro organism growth shall be removed by mechanical means. All the cracks has to be cleaned properly & the same has to be filled with modified styrene butadiene rubber emulsion slurry by mixing 1 volume of Nitobond SBR to 1 volume of clean water to 3 volumes of fresh cement mixed with Fosroc Nitobond SBR Latex,as per manufacturers specification and as directed. Note : Hair line Cracks Surfaces.

Providing and applying plaster of paris putty of 2 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work

Providing and applying external weather shield paint of any approved brand as indicated in technical specifications document or any equivalent including surface preparation with base coat of primer and two coats of the painting etc complete at all heights and locations as per specifications and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge. Note : Camouflage type painting to be done for compound wall

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length ( total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron ‘Y’ shaped placed 2.4 m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5 mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/ metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)
