(a) Providing cement based angle fillet for 75mm X 75mm admixed with Sikacim, integral waterproofing liquid M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, (as approved by GE) @ 0.2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions over a coat of acrylic emulsion bonding agent such as per as Sika Latex in 1:1:3 ratio of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosrox chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) having specific gravity of 1.02 or as per manufacturer’s instructions with necessary surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like roughing the surface by scrabbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure upto 500 bar pressure to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles , wax, efforencene and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/ beams/ slabs/ facia/ any brick/ stone surfaces etc all as manufactures and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry.

(c)Providing and applying Hibond, Epoxy based Thixotropic bonding adhesive of Make of M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, ( as approved by GE) over the prepared concrete surface to get a good bonding between existing concrete surface and providing Sika Rep Microcrete 4 Fiber reinforced cementitious repair micro concrete of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd ( as approved by GE) over Epoxy based bonding agent applied area before 6 Hrs etc including providing necessary proportions , bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it including scaffolding leak proof shuttering with working platform as required and as per design and pattern complete including preparing the surface to match with the existing surface all as specified and directed.

(d) Note : The work under (Item No. 5 to Item No. 8 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the any following manufacturer only. (ii) The unit rate quoted for item No. 5 to 8 of BOQ is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

M&L for Preparation of plastered or un plastered old surfaces of walls, Chajja, balcony, facia etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots ect and applying one coat of cement based paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old plastered or unplastered surface of ceiling brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spotsand applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, chajja, balcony, facia etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Complete removal of existing treatment of any type/description such as distempering work, internal oil emulsion etc from internal surfaces of walls & ceiling with mechanical means/grinder, then applying one coat or more coat of Birla Putty on wall of internal surfaces of walls/ceilings as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces by using ready made wall care putty including sand papering after filling the putty to make surface smooth and ready for receiving surface finish all as directed

M&L for Complete removal of existing treatment of any type/description such as distempering work, internal emulsion etc from internal surfaces of walls & ceiling with mechanical means/ grinder, then applying wall care putty on internal surfaces of walls/ceilings as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces in two by using ready made wall care putty including sand papering after filling the putty to make surface smooth and ready for receiving apply Two coats of plastic emulsion all specificed and as directed. Notes : (i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor will inform to the Engineer-in-Charge for site inspection before applying further surface finishes. Please note that the further surface finishes work will start only after approval of the prepared surface from the Engineer-in-Charge .

M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass not exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Nonskid Ceramic tiles 7-8 mm thick, area of each tiles exc 0.09 sqm not exceeding 0.16 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer ,15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 including taking down existing tile and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Ceramic wall tiles 7-8 mm thick designed , of size 300 x 450 mm in walls etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including rendering 10 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:3 including taking down existing tile and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed. Make ;- Dr. Fixit pidi proof and equivalent.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces wall/ ceiling and applying three coats of white washing on ceiling/ walls surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 45 & 46 : (a) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (b) The manufacturer's test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority.

M&L Water proofing treatment of existing roofs as per details given below after complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to outside the MOD land complete all as specified and as directed :-

(a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/ roof tiles on roof including removing debris to outside MOD land as directed.

(b) Bring upto the slope by providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates of average thickness of 50 mm.

(c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions.

(d) Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely by using intense wire brushing, high speed water jet & vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning of the surface to avoid ‘Peeling off’ problems.

(e) All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets should be properly treated. For filling cracks upto 3mm crack seal material of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical to be used. Bigger cracks, damaged portions & hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortar.

(f) Apply a coat of self priming smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical with 33% dilution with water using brush/roller on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours (dilution & forced coverage requirement strictly as per manufacturer’s instructions).

(g) After the primed surface has dried, apply first coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same primed surface & allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours.

(h) Prepare for apply 2nd coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same surface. The temp to be maintained 25 to 35° C through out the all above application work.

(j) In case of severe dampness an additional coat of damp proof materials to be applied.

Note for item No 48 to 57 :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the following manufacturers only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. Make : M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical

(ii) A performance guarantee certificate for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(iii) The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, tanks, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof.

(iv) The unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools and plants including scaffolding required for working upto approx 7.5 mtr height from natural ground level.

(v) The unit rate quoted for item is deemed to include for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

(vi) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts, ropes, helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 25 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat oil bound distemper complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weater proof paint complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i) Cost of scaffolding required deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (ii) Work will be carried out through authorised applicator/ agency of approved manufacturer by GE.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls by using pressure washer, remove all dirt & dust ,applying one coat of wall care putty and then and applying two coats of premium oil bound distemper over one coat of primer as per manufauture instruction of required shade complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge. Note:-(i) Cost of scaffolding required deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

M&L for Preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description and applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth, complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and drilling 10mm dia holes using pneumatic drill as per site condition but not exceeding 50cm c/c in zig-zag pattern for 75mm depth and fixing high pressure bear up Metal/Aluminum body injection packer along the holes and packing with Sika -4a ,quick setting waterproofing compound of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosrox chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/S BOSTik India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited (as approved by GE).

Mixing base and hardner of Sikadur 52 , low viscous solvent free epoxy injection grout of Make M/S Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosrox chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/S BOSTik India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited (as approved by GE), using slow speed electricity operated mixing paddle (200 – 300RPM) and injecting the same using electricity operated high pressure (upto 1000 Kg/SqCM) pump until refusal to adjacent complete as per manufacturers specification.

Cutting and flushing the nozzles and excess materials with a sharp scraper to take away sharp protrusions and to get a smooth and flat finish.

Note :- The work under (Item No. 100 to Item No. 103 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the any following manufacturer only. (a) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(b) The unit rate quoted for item No. 100 to 103 of BOQ is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.
