Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth (HSR 6.2 (a) Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 metres, and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 metre including breaking of clods.

Dismantling cement concrete plain 1:2:4 mix (HSR 8.6 (d) + 4.1 (a) + 5.2 (a) and diposal of waste material with all lead and lift as desired by Engineer in Charge.

Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed (HSR 24.1) Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Providing and laying 200 mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - III of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and laying 100 mm thick Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub –Base Construction of dry lean Cement Concrete M-10 sub base over a prepared sub grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383 the size if course aggregate not exceeding 25 mm aggregate cement ratio not to be exceed 15:1 aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum optimum moisture content to be determined during trail length construction, concrete strength not to be less than as 10 MPA at 7 days mixed in the batching plant transported to site laid with a paver compacting with 5-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing as per clause 601 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition ) 2013. Note: - If cement contents are required more than 150 Kg. per cum to achieve strengthening it will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Providing and laying 250 mm cement concrete of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement M-40 over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement @ minimum 400 Kg. per cum, coarse and fine aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing and MoRT&H specification No.602. 5th edition 2013 (NS) Note: - Minimum cement contents shall be 400 Kg. per cum of concrete. If job mix formula required more it shall be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account. Note: - The longitudnal gradient of the road for the work in question is to be adjusted in a such a manner that the storm water is collected and disposed of at the culverts of the Km 210.45 this will be in addition to the 2.50% camber to be provided in the road portion and 3% camber in the shoulders.

Providing and laying 80mm thick ISI marked interlocking paver blocks confirming to IS: 15658:2006/IRC SP 63-2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 over a bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respects. [HSR 10.159]
