| 1 | Repair to damaged edges of concrete in PQC slab by cutting the three sides of edges to shape 30 to 40mm deep and 40 to 50 mm wide, trimming the surface and application of resin formulation in two stages as given below including preparation of surface complete all as specified and as directed.
(a) First Stage consist of application of a primer coat with epoxy resin of mix with formulation of 100 parts of Araldite GY 257 (depend 101 propane epichorihydrin) and 50 part of Hardner Hy 840 by weight.
(b) Second stage consist of application of epoxy resin mortar mix with the following formulations :-
(i) Araldite GY 257 -100 parts by weight
(ii) Hardner Hy 840 - 50 parts by weight.

| 2 | Repairing the pot holes and edge spalling in PQC slab by cutting the existing concrete slab by machine to average depth of not excedding 40 mm and average width/lengh not exceeding 60 mm trimming the surface and application of resin formulation in two stages as given below including preparation of surface complete all as specified and as directed.
(a) First Stage consist of application of a primer coat with epoxy resin of mix with formulation of 100 parts of Araldite GY 257 (depend 101 propane epichorihydrin) and 50 part of Hardner Hy 840 by weight.

| 9 | M&L for Chipping out neatly and cutting of existing loose concrete of cracks at rigid pavement in Air Field area by using saw cutter/ grinder, Cutting of crack portion up to 50mm wide and 10mm to 20 mm deep (minimum) in uniform rectangular/ U - shaped groove using diamond cutters and clearing of all loose material with air blower/ sand blaster and the portion applying proprietory primer on surface to obtain tack and finally filled by Elastomeric concrete mix shall be prepared as per manufacturer's instructions to obtain true surface and finally set the surface with hand tools complete all as specified and directed.
Note: Providing masking tape at joints/ on edges of cut portion and removing after application to prevent accedental spillage of material on top surface to give neat finish and necessary formwork required if any at spalled joints edge and any spillage on concrete slab to be cleared. | 10 | M&L for routing of cracks in rigid pavement (PQC) to form uniform U-shaped groove of 5–10 mm width and 8 to 15mm depth using mechanical grinder/router, cleaning the groove thoroughly with air blower to remove all dust, dirt and loose particles and ensuring dry surface, applying suitable primer and filling the groove with approved self-levelling polyurethane (PU) sealant of make Fosroc/Sika/STP or equivalent. The sealant shall be allowed to self-level and any excess material shall be neatly finished flush with the existing surface using putty blades. The work shall be carried out strictly as per manufacturer’s specifications including all tools, plant, labour and materials complete all as specified and as directed. Notes for all items :-
(a)All the works are to be carried out in Air force airfield operational area.
(b) The contractor should ensure that all the old unwanted articles be cleaned as the work proceeds without awaiting for instructions from the users and MES reps and the FOD spreaded over the main runway to be cleaned simultaneously and clearance in this regard shall be obtained from respective ATC authorities.
(c) In emergency and operationak requirements, the contractor shall provide maximum man power, tools and plants as necessistated by the user and as directed by the Engr In Charge. Site for Execution of work:- (a) Tenderer shell note that work shell be executed at Runway/Air field area and the site for execution of work will be made available to contractor on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and non operational days or when site will made available by GE/Engineer-in-charge after consultation of user, due to constant operational commitment at Station. The contractor will have to arrange his working programme accordinly. No claim whatsover, for not giving the entire site, on award of work and giving the site gradually will be entertained. The contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting his rates. | 20 | Rm | - | - |
