HANGER DOOR
Dismantling of structural steel work including complete hanger door, iron wheel, channel, angle, CGI sheet, ISCR (Indian Standard Crane Rail), roller made of cast iron, safety angle and beam, flat iron etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Designing, fabrication and erection of 02 Nos new hanger doors each of opening size 44.00mx8.25m (each containing 6 leaf i.e total 12 Nos leafs) with and including all structural steel of hanger door, ISCR (Indian standard crane rail), safety beam and angles, fixing of 0.50mm thick pre-painted galvalume sheet, motorization of hangar door including all necessary parts such as rollers, supports, motors of suitable capacity, electric panel etc and painting to new steel surfaces with 02 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Supply and fixing of bottom rail, top rail and its guides and safety beam shall be measured and paid under item No. 1.03 of BOQ. However designing of these components is included in this item.
Supply and fixing mild steel rolled sections (Fe-410 W Gde-E-250 quality A) as in bottom rail, top rail and its guides and safety beam for hanger door, fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates etc, complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour 5 mm thick PU based anti static flooring complete all as specified and directed and as per manufacturer's instruction consisting of following steps/stages. Make: CIPY/SIKA/FOSROC/STP/CHOKSEY/BOSTIK. (a) SURFACE CLEANING: Cleaning of surface free from dust, dirt, moisture & all foreign material from the floor. All floor is to be cleaned by means of scrubber. Acid itching and water wash to be done. Then the oil/grease is removed from the floor using Hot compressed air blasting machine. For floor cleaning all mechanised equipments are to be used like scrubbers, sanders, hot blowers, vaccum cleaners, moisture test machine etc. (b) Raking out old decayed/damaged existing sealing compound from joints of size 30mm to 40mm wide and 45mm to 50mm average depth and cleaning the joints thoroughly by removing dust, dirt, loose and foreign materials by appropriate hand tools such as chisel, hammer or L hooks, scraping out the existing sealing joints, grinding or cutting the inner sides of joints by diamond cutter to have perfect plane sealant free surface without breaking the edges, removing dust by power blower/compressed air and removing materials outside MoD land. Any variation in size of joint is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (c) Making good the existing damaged edges (at joints), cracks etc on EITHER SIDE OF JOINT in cement concrete floor by cutting around to true vertical surfaces by using diamond cutter etc and removing the debris and other foreign material outside MOD land including necessary preparation of surfaces by cleaning the sides and bottom stages as given below to make the existing joint 10mm wide. (d) Applying primer coat of two component epoxy primer followed by application of pre batched ready to use epoxy mortar in the grooves. The mortar shall be filled on the both sides of groove to bring the joint 10mm width & inserting closed cell, medium density cross linked polythene foam, back up rod of 10mm dia and filling the PU based sealing compound matching the same colour with PU flooring.
(e) PRIMER : Providing and applying low viscous epoxy primer having a volumetric ratio of mixing of resin and hardener in equal volumes to provide a DFT of around 200 microns. (f) SCREED : Providing and applying self leveling screed with polymer to aggregate ratio not exceeding 1:4 by trowel to the desired thickness of 2700 microns. The layer is desecrated by spike roller to dislodge air pockets. (g) COPPER TAPE : Providing and fixing 100 microns thick, self adhesive (conductive type) copper tape to ensure quick transfer of charge (Make: 3M or equivalent) including connecting copper wire/tape and earthing etc required to get the desired result, The spacing of copper tape shall be approximately 5m C/C both ways. (h) CONDUCTIVE PRIMER: Providing and applying PU (polyurethane) based conductive coat having a volumetric ratio of resin and hardener in 4:1, to yield a DFT of 100 microns, (j) PU SELF LEVELLING TOP COAT Providing and applying PU based conductive self levelling top coat containing anti stats to yield a thickness of 2000 microns and surface resistivity which will not exceed 109 ohms. The cured surfaces shall be tested with Megohm Meter as per ASTM F-150, to check the readings as per the design. (k) The entire work/application shall be done through Manufacturer only.
Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced), of any description & in any position (below or above ground level), any thickness, including removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour, 10mm thick layer of dry coarse sand, spread, leveled, watered & consolidated, complete all as specified & directed.
Material and labour, 400micron polythene film (transparent), laid over sand layer, including necessary cutting, overlaps (not less than 75mm side laps & 150mm end laps), complete all as specified & directed. Note: Provision of over laps shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate & shall not be measured separately.
Material and labour for 200mm thick dry lean concrete (DLC) of M-15 grade (design Mix with minimum cement content 240 kg/cum), as in sub base of pavements, including spreading, levelling, rolling & consolidation, as per required camber & gradient, with 8-10tonne capacity power road roller, use and waste necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Compaction / consolidation shall be done by any other approved compactor where rolling by road roller is not feasible.
Material and labour 300mm thick quality concrete as in pavements (PQC) mixed with non circular polymer triangular fiber @0.25% by weight of cement of PQC as in pavement, using 400Kg of cement per Cum of design mix concrete (with maximum size of coarse aggregate upto 40mm), laid to required thickness/level & consolidation, bull nosing of the edging of slab along the joints & finishing the surface by belting and brooming, complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Forming & filling of construction joints, dummy joints & expansion joints shall be measured & paid separately.
Material and labour for forming dummy joints 10mm wide and 100mm deep by using diamond cutter and filled with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechanical means to minimum depth of 10mm above back up rod (with minimum performance Guarantee of 10 year) and minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) + 30% conforming of the requirement of BS-5212 & EN-141875-2003 for hydrolysis/water resistance test including two coats of primer & providing 12mm dia approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod/back up sheet, applying masking tape on edge joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces & to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required, complete all as per manufacture's instructions, all as specified, shown on drawings & as directed.
Material and labour for forming construction joints 10mm wide and full depth of concrete by using diamond cutter and filled with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechanical means to minimum depth of 10mm above back up rod (with minimum performance Guarantee of 10 year) and minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) + 30% conforming of the requirement of BS-5212 & EN-141875-2003 for hydrolysis/water resistance test including two coats of primer & providing 12mm dia approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod/back up sheet, applying masking tape on edge joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces & to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete all as per manufacture's instructions, all as specified, shown on drawings & as directed.
External Electrification
Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying/taking out of cables and foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.
Returning, filling in trenches (soil), including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.
Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour, sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick (punned down to 100mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm), shall be considered for measurement and payment.
Material and labour, locally available, sub class `B’ bricks (old size), laid flat and dry perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other, in trenches over the cable for protection, complete all as specified and directed.
Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of Low Tension (LT) XLPE insulated and armoured, heavy duty, electric power cable, cross sectional area 50Sqmm 3.5 core aluminum conductor 1100volts grade under ground cable including both side connection with cable lugs etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor or through walls etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Returning filling & removal of earth, sand cushioning and bricks for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fix, MCCB, 03 pole, 160Amps, 415 volts, 16 KA, 50Hz , with adjustable thermal and magnetic release, complete with extension links and making connection in panel board, complete all as specified and directed.

Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include GI strip and protection pipe of length 7.5m, excess beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 3Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 3Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.
Supply, fixing and testing desert cooler heavy duty 8500CFM, 3 speed, 4wire fan motor copper wound, tullu pump 1/35HP motor vertical type, fitted with heavy duty accessories, noise free 230 volts single phase, high speed operating on single phase AC supply. Stand made out of 50mmx50mmx5mm angle iron duly welded and painted with two coats synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer , complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing hot air ventilation on roof through air circulator fan of size 600mm, cutting of existing ceiling sheets for fixing of fan with air tight, complete all as specified and directed.
Sub main wiring with two single core 2.5 Sqmm (nominal area) PVC insulated and unsheathed cables with stranded copper FR conductor in non metallic rigid PVC conduit of requisite size including one run of continuous PVC insulated FR copper stranded cable of wiring size 1.5 Sqmm for earth continuity including taking down old unserviceable cable, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) 2 runs of 2.5 Sqmm main cable + 1 run of 1.5 Sqmm earth cable + PVC conduit shall be measured as 1 Running Metre.
Material & labour, chemical earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode size 900mmx600mmx5mm thick burried directly in ground vertically with top edge of the plate not less than 3.5m below normal ground level (The depth of pit not less than 4.25m below normal ground level), earth plate surrounded by packed layers of mixture of magnesium sulphate (MgSO₄) - 100Kg, common salt - 200Kg, Charcoal dust - 300Kg and also mixing of Bentonite not more than 25 Kg with water, electrode connected with & including earth lead of copper strip 32x6mm by means of oxyacetylene copper brazing as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, and other end of the earth lead connected to main switch board or main control board or test point or equipment, earth lead protected by galvanised iron pipe light grade (ISI marked) 40mm bore alongwith watering pipe 15mm bore GI medium grade (ISI marked of specified make), funnel with wire mesh, including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover (in lieu of CI cover), all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), complete all as specified and directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include copper strip and GI protection pipe upto a length of 7.5m, Length beyond 7.5m required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 1Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 1Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.
(v) For effective visibility identification and traceability of earth pit (EP) with corresponding earth of eqpt and bldg, markers in metal (Mild Steel) shall be provided. Earth test of earth pit is to be provided with a colour code. The direction regarding the size, shape and colour of the Mild steel identification board etc., shall be given by the Engineer-in-Charge. (vi) On completion of the entire work, the contractor shall submit a register/record showing location of earthing, earth value, date of testing, user`s signature etc to the Engineer-in-Charge. (vii) All joints of strip are to be brazed on both sides (over lapping) except test point.
Material and labour for copper strip 20x3mm as in earth continuity conductor , complete all as specified and directed.

(ii) Copper bus bar of current rating 100 Amps and sensitivity relay set unit with auxiliary CTs. (iii) Electronic latch circuit with tripping indication. (iv) Re-set facilities. (v) 3 Phase MVR relay unit with single-phase protection complete with 2 No NC auxiliary contacts. (vi) 3 phase AVR relay unit complete. (vii) Self sequential starting relay unit 12 volts DC complete with alarm and power contactor. (viii) Electronic timer 220 volts for main contactor with 1 No NC auxiliary contactor. (ix) Electronic timer 220 volts for fuel cut off operation with 1 No NC auxiliary contactor. (x) Battery charging 2x12volts 10 Amps complete with digital voltmeter and Amps meter, including trickle & boost charging.
