Excavating over areas not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in Hard / Dense soil (removal of soil from roof tops) including removal of soil to a distance nexc 50m and depositing in layers not exc 1.5m from starting point to reuse the same for backfill

Taking down existing roof felt including plaster of any description carefully from existing roof /parapet without disturbing wall surface and removing the same at a distance exc 1.5 Km complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for grinding of top surface of concrete slab to remove any loose particles etc to achieve a surface as per the manufacturers instructions to receive primer coat of roof treatment, including washing the surface with water to remove all residue complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for providing and executing injection/pressure grouting in cracks in the parent concrete by fixing PVC nipples at 150 mm to 200 mm distance or specified distances as per design and detailed specifications. Pressure grouting using low viscous epoxy grout Conbextra EP 10 (M) of FOSROC or equivalent having mix density 1060 kg/m3, Compressive Strength (ASTM D695) - 60 N/mm2, Tensile Strength (ASTM C 304 - 97) - 20 N/mm2, Flexural Strength (BS 6319 Part3) - 45 N/mm2. Pressure Grouting shall be done at required pressure etc., shall complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Payment shall be made on actual grout consumed)

M&L for providing and carry out waterproofing treatment to sound, moisture free concrete surface using Nitoproof 600PF - Liquid applied single component pitch free polyurethane coating capable of bridging substrate cracks upto 2mm. System included proper surface preparation to remove loose dust, dirt, loose mortar, curing compound etc., and application of Nitoproof 600PF coverage @ 2.0 kg/sqm to achieve 1.5mm WFT in two coats followed by laying of separation layer of 120 gsm non-woven geotextile layer before carry out protection screed etc. complete including all tools and tackles as per manufacturer's specification. Nitocote 600PF cured material shall be having crack bridging of 2mm, Elongation (ASTDM 412) - > 600%, Tensile Strength (ASTM D412) - 2.5 N/Sqmm, Recover from Elongation (ASTDM D412) - 95%, 85% solid content, Tear Resistance (ASTM D624) - 15 KN/m, Shore A Hardness (ASTDM D2240) - 60, Water vapour transmission - 0.6 g/sqm/Hr, Water Permeability @ 5 Bar (BS EN 12390) - Nil, Service Temperature - -40 ͦC to 70 ͦC, Flashing Point > 70 ͦC, Viscosity - 60p, Specific Gravity - 1.5. The item rate shall be including of all kinds of labour, tools & tackles, machineries, lead & lift, mathadi charges, curing, wastages, consumables, cleaning, shifting of debris outside the site premises, surface preparation, etc. complete as per design, drawing & instructions of EIC. Cost of 120 GSM non-woven geotextile and 50mm screed concrete shall be paid separately. All work shall be done through authorized applicator of M/s FOSROC Chemicals (India Pvt. Ltd.). Water ponding test to be done on finished surface of Nitoproof 600 PF after 72 Hours to ensure that there is no leakages in the roof.

Supply & Laying Geotextiles of 120 GSM over the waterproofing coating to avoid damage during screed casting and layin over drain cell. Item rate is inclusive of materials, all labour, tools and tackles, scaffolding and transportation etc. Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for providing and applying concrete screed (admixed with integral waterproofing compound Conplast Wlxtra @ 200 ml/bag of cement) of average 75 mm thickness and at required slope. Note: Work shall be carried out after 7 days of application of waterproofing membrane on Horizontal Surfaces

Material and Labour for providing and applying average 12-15 mm thick plaster on vertical surface. Plaster mixed with Complast Wlxtra at the dosage of 200 ml/bag of cement over waterproofing system. Maximum height of the plaster allowed /day shall be 1 m height. Note: The work shall be carried out after 7 days of application of waterproofing membrane on Vertical Surfaces

Supply & Laying Polypropylene interlocking drain cell mats of 20mm thickness, heavy duty on top of existing sloping screed. Complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for applying single component acrylic polymer modified, firbre reinforced waterproof coating brush bond Roof Guard or Techno commercially equivalent makes as listed in list of makes as approved by GE in 3 coats of application @ 0.5 Litre/Sqm Coat, including sprinkling of clean sand (300 microns - particle size). The product should have following properties, solid content 70%, Tensile strength (ASTM D 412) 1.10 MPs, Elongation (ASTM D12) 100% Resistance to ageing due to UV radiation, 1000 hours no change rapid chloride penetration, very low resistance to algae growth passes, zero rating/permeability (mm) 5.0, Water Vapour Transmissiong 6.0g/sqm/h. No of coats 3 (minimum) adhesive bond strength > 0.92 N/mm2 complete all as specified and as directed.
