REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF DG SETS, AMF PANELS AND SWITCH GEARS AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AFS THANJAVUR

Annual maintenance including all checks as recommended by the manufacturer for the following capacity of DG sets of M/s Kirloskar/Cummins make once in a period of six months or 250 hrs of run whichever is earlier by authorized / OEM including replacement of Engine oil, oil filter fuel filter "O" ring, tappet valve adjustment replacing the tappet gasket water leakage rectification and testing commissioning as recommended by the OEM for smooth running, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Engine oil, fuel filter and oil filter shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (ii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall include the rate for minor cosumables like distilled water, grease, nutbolts during routine AMC checks.

500 KVA to 630 KVA DG set.

Dismantling and taking out blocked/chocked radiator assembly including dismantling of rubber hose, fan blade and V belt etc feeding the high pressure air mixed with water alternatively and applying cleaning chemical on the surfaces of radiator and cleaning thoroughly, brazing work for leakage and refixing the same in position complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling and taking out self starter assembly suitable for the following capacity of DG Set and replacement of wornout spare parts like field coil, armature assembly, solenoid assembly, carbon brush, carbon brush assembly, clutch plate assembly and bushes including servicing and refixing to engine complete all as specified and as directed:-

400 KVA to 630 KVA DG Set.

200 KVA to 320 KVA DG Set.

180 KVA to 82.5 KVA DG Set.

20 KVA to 62.5 KVA DG Set.

Dismantling and taking out battery charging alternater assembly suitable for 24 Volt DC battery charging of any DG Set and replacement of wornout spare parts like field coil, rotor assembly, corbon brush, rectifier assembly and bushes etc including servicing and refixing complete all as specified.

Dismantling and taking out battery charging alternater assembly suitable for 12 Volt DC battery charging of any DG Set and replacement of wornout spare parts like field coil, rotor assembly, corbon brush, rectifier assembly and bushes etc including servicing and refixing complete all as specified.

Dismantling of existing defective Alternator of any capacity and any make from the foundation, disconnecting the electric connection, coupling pulley, and taking out to work shop cutting down and removing existing burnt out copper windings, cleaning of slots and rewinding with super enamelled solid copper conductor (winding wire) complete including varnishing, drying, ovening, overhauling, greasing and fixing in the same position, making necessary electric connection and testing of Alternator complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Servicing /maint /repair of AMF panel by checking and replacing defective relays,timers,single phase preventer,panel control wiring with suitable size power contactor in AMF panel all as specified and as directed. Note:- Relays, timers, contactors single phasing preventor etc. will be measured and paid for separately under relevent items.

Material and labour for draining out diesel from fuel tank of any capacity of DG set and storing the same in clean barrels, cleaning of fuel tanks, checking for any leakages and repairing the same (if any) with suitable welding, refilling the fuel and testing to the entire satisfaction including repairing / replacement of locking arrangement with Key complete all as specified and as directed .

Dismantling the alternator of capacity 40 KVA to 250 KVA (any make & Model) from DG set and carrying out cleaning, servicing, appying one coat of insulation varnish over stator and rotor winding and heating, replacement of spare parts like main bearing, main terminal boards re-assembling and re-installing in its original position and testing on completion to the satisfaction complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the alternator of capacity 320 KVA to 630 KVA (any make & Model) from DG set and carrying out cleaning, servicing, appying one coat of insulation varnish over stator and rotor winding and heating, replacement of spare parts like main bearing, main terminal boards re-assembling and re-installing in its original position and testing on completion to the satisfaction complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cleaning of oil , grease, dust etc from outer (acoustic enclosures ) and inner surface ( Engine, Alternator, base frame channel and fuel tank) of complete DG set and preparation of old painted surfaces and applying two coats with super enamel paint ( in side of acoustic enclosuress) of colour as specified & directed on Engine, Alternator, base frame channel and fuel tank (except acoustic enclosures ) with the help of air compressor including including writing the machine No. (SM /MES No ) complete all as specified and as directed for following capacities of DG Sets : -

500 KVA to 630 KVA DG set.

320 KVA to 400 KVA DG set.

125 KVA to 250 KVA DG set .

62.5 KVA to 100 KVA DG set.

15 KVA to 40 KVA DG set.

M & L for cleaning surrounding area of DG installations and area not exceeding 50 Sqm complete with use of suitable tools etc including disposal the wastage by dumping / burning in low lying area complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of AMF panel complete unit suitable for upto 30 KVA DG complete with wiring and all connections and all necessary accessary to make functional AMF panel with compatible to existing DG set and testing.
