1.Improvements to the Road from MRL 01 - CT Road to Somasamudrm Road (via) Chandravilasapuram, Amuthareddykandigai, Appukondakandigai KM 0/000 - 4/080

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation,grass ,bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 201.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3m and lead upto 1000m as per Technical specification Cluase 301.4

Excavation for road work in soil with hudraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity inclucing cutting and loading in tippers, timming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5m and jead upto 1000m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 (Filling with Cut Earth)

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1 (Using Borrow Pit Earth)

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 (Gravel shoulder)

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam(WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 150mm thick with pavers in Sub Base/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

BITUMINUS MACADAM Providing Bituminous macadam to the required thickness of 50mm using 0.42m3 of 26.50mm to 0.10m3 of 11.20mm to 4.75mm metal 0.18m3 of 4.75mm metal with 38kgs Bitumen binder for 10m2 37.50mm consolidated thickness including cost and stacking standard dept gauge for pre measurement with power roller including hire and fuel charges for power roller bitument bioiler hot mix plant and all other tools and plants etc complted as per clause 504 of most specifications

PREMIX CARPET Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508.

Supply and fabrication of NAME BOARD of size 5’X3’ made with 1”X1”X1/4” ‘L’ angle frame in all around fixed with 20G C.R. Sheet with stiffness plate 1”X1/4” flat – and 11/4”X11/4” size diamond shaped board made with the above said same quality this diamond shaped should be fixed on top of the said board. All these arrangements should be fixed on 2”X2”X1/4” size ‘L’ angle in the height of 91/2’ feet 2 Nos. and painted with two coats of red or black oxide and two coats of colour enamel (as prescribed by the officers) with hand written letters using best quality of enamel paint, etc. complete including labour fabrication loading & unloading and transporting to concern blocks including fixing the same in the concerned road at specified place with M15 concrete of size .45mx0.45mx0.60m including earthwork excavation for pit.

Routine Maintenance after completion of work the road sufrace and shoulder to be maintained in proper condition to make them free from excessive edge drop offs, roughness, scouring and pot holes and cleaning of surface drain including culverts for frre flow of water. Relettering name boards and K.M & H.M stone and other maintenance operation required to keep the road traffic worthly at all the time for the maintenance period for the following years. As per General condition of contract para 32.2.2
