Dismantling the old unserviceable earth pit including PCC cover and removing the unserviceable earth plate/strip/wire all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete for various equipments with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600x 6mm thick directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below the ground level, connected with earthing lead of 4 mm galvanized iron wire at two points by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel connected to earth testing point including excavation in any type of soil and earthwork and returning filling in and disposal of surplus soil to a distance up to 50 metre including 15 mm dia GI tubing medium grade and necessary fitting for protection of GI wire including filling of charcoal dust ,common salt, PCC (1:2:3) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate earth pit with 40x40x6mm MS angle iron frame,RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4)type B-0 using12.5 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bar,@75mmC/C bothways with M.S handle 12mm dia,MS handle duly painted with one coat of Primer and two coat of synthetic enamel black paint,PGI funnel ,wire mesh GI pipe medium grade 20 mm bore for watering ,complete all as specified and shown on electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR Part-I(2009) and connecting the earthing to equipment and testing on completion all as directed. Note:-GI Earth strip/wire and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 metres only from the top of earth electrode are included under this item and additional earth wire/strip/protection pipe etc if any required at site shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of schedule.

S&F galvanised earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of GI wire 4 mm dia.fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for looping earthing etc. as required connecting to equipement at any indicated position all as directed.

S&F galvanised earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of GI strip 32 x 6 mm with porcelain insulator and fixing screws fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for looping earthing etc. as required connecting to equipement at any indicated position all as directed.
