Raking out existing sealing compound from expansion, contraction & dummy joints of width exceeding 10mm but not exceeding 20mm in concrete and upto 25mm deep by mechanical means operated with electric, preparing and cleaning of sides, bottom and edges of adjoining slabs with solvent soaked cloth to remove sticked old sealing compound completely, cleaning the surface of the joints with wire brushes and finally removing and cleaning dust etc with compressed air to make it free from all foreign particles, filling with Polyurethane joint sealing compound using mechanical means to a minimum depth exceeding 6mm but not exceeding 8mm (depth minimum above the backup rod) with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) + 30% confirming to the requirement of BS-5212 and EN 141875-2003 of hydrolysis/water resistance including one coat of primer and providing approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod/back up sheet of required size & shape over existing bituminious joint filler board in position applying masking tape on edges to prevent accident all slippage on solvent on top surface and to give a neat finish to sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied as required complete all as per manfacture instructions including removal of loose & foreign materials outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per serial item No 1.00 above but width of joint exceeding 20mm but not exceeding 30mm and to a minimum depth exceeding 6mm but not exceeding 8mm (depth minimum above the backup rod) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per serial item No 1.00 above but width of joint exceeding 40mm but not exceeding 50mm to a minimum depth exceeding 8mm but not exceeding 10mm (depth minimum above the backup rod) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for serial item No 1 to 4 :- (i) Where ever depth of joints exceeds 25mm, the additional depth shall be filled with preforated bituminous filler board without any extra cost. (ii) Complete quantity of material required shall be supplied in advance within 15 days of commencement of work. (iii) Due to severity of runway maintenance work for smooth runway operation work is completed within time frame. In view of the above reason Rs 1000/- per day deducted over workdone amount if contractor shall not start the work within one week or delay without any valid reason after site order signed by contractor.

M&L for repairing to concrete slab surface (depressed portion/cracked portion) by cutting damaged/spilled portion and concrete pavement by mechanical equipment into rectangular crossed section, removing useless and worthless all loose and foreign materials etc to a distance exceeding 500m but not exceeding 1000 meter cleaning the surface thoroughly with brushes and finally with compressed air, including filling and levelling the surface, priming the patches with special primer recommended by manufacturer and filling with modified ready mix ELASTOMERIC concrete not exceeding 50mm depth, including form work where required all as per manufacture's instructions complete all as specified and directed. MAKE: Dr Fixit / Bostik / Chokesy Chemical / STP LTD (Product Name "Flex O Patch") or equivalent. Note : Complete quantity of material required shall be supplied in advance within 15 days of commencement of work.

Make : Shalimar Tar products / Tiki Tar products / New Gurvinder Industries, New Delhi / MK Petro Industries / STP Ltd / Bostic.

Complete removing old layers of paints by paint removers and scrapping with suitable scrapers tools and clean the surface by sweeping and applying two coats of apcotrak of Asian paints PPG/ Berger guideline RM 164 Paint/ Road marking paint of equivalent Specification (as approved by GE), water based matt finished over one coat of primer as per IS-164 of white, golden yellow, Deep orange, red and black in lines, dashes, letter, circle, triangle etc on concrete or bitumen surfaces/ pavements exceeding 10cm in width using mechanical pavement marking machine Hofmann H18-2 airless spray/Graco 300DC dual colour machine /WAGNER power liner 6955 with two guns (Airless spray application as per IS 164/RM-164), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of surfaces after complete removal of old existing painting from concrete /bituminous surfaces and applying two coats of acrylic oil based road marking paint of white, golden yellow, Deep orange, Red and black over the lines, dashes, arrows letters etc. on concrete/bituminous pavement exceeding 10cm width using mechanical pavement marking machine Hofmann H18-2 airless spray/Graco 300DC dual colour machine /WAGNER power liner 6955 with two guns (Airless spray application as per IS 164/RM-164), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for ser item No 7.00 to 9.00:- (i) Certified applicator (Certificate from the Manufacturer of Machine) (ii) Operator authorization certificate from the brand/paint. (iii) Experience of applicator(Min. of 2 years) (iv) The contractor shall procure 50% quantity of water paint and oil base paint required in the work within 15 days from the date of commencment and deposit the same in the custody of Engr-in-Charge. (v) Engr-in-Charge shall maintain a record of the material brought and consumed at site in the work and purchase vouchers shall be defaced and verified by the Engr-in-Charge and same shall be submitted to GE for verification. (vi) Material shall be recorded in MB under proprietory branded material duly signed by all concerned. (vii) If contractor has not completed the work within stipulated time frame after site order given to contractor penality of Rs 1000/- per day applicable for smooth functioning of flight safety and aircraft operation. (viii) All labour and supervisor must follow flight safety rule and regulation as per ATC direction during flying time work will be stopped and nothing extra shall be paid during said hours.

M&L for oblitereating old painting of any description and tint with a coat of road marking paint mixed with black oxide to match with existing surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to existing Sign Boards of size not exe. 2.5 Sqm on elevation and refixing 3mm thick Acrylic Sheet including necessary cleats/brackets/rivets/nuts bolts as required, fixing solar charged LED light as specified inside the box and fixing vinyl sheet under Arcylic sheet covering the same and fixing 3MTM high intensity prismatic retro reflective Sheeting Series 3930 of approved colour/shade fixed on vinyl sheet fully at both face of board covered including letter writting infomation/ logo with same sheeting computerised cut in approved colour /shade.The letters approximately covering upto 50% of the board area complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Cost of letter writing with retro-Reflective Sheeting is includied in unit rate. (ii) Before procurement/ supply, sample of board material shall be produced by the contractor for approval of GE.

Contract Amount shall be derived after affecting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 17 of tender documents.
