M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud and bushes near road side etc including sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaning surface free from dust and mud, sunken surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt existing road surfaces, and making good applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, over black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) of premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled drum type hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and Vibromax roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) The work shall be executed as per design mix approved by GE. (ii) Paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc., rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Bituminous concrete shall be mixed in drum type hot mix plant, transported from plant to work at site and laid/spread by means of mechanical paver finisher. (v) Filler for bitumen concrete shall be OPC grade @ 2% of total mix. (vi) Contractor shall quote his rate on the basis of binder as mentioned in this item. If there is any minus variation in the actual binder content used as per design mix approved by GE, the rate shall be adjusted as per invoice submitted by contractor per Kg of binder used. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified in this item.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Job mix formula of premix bituminous macadam shall be approved by GE.

M&L for Thermo plastic road marking 2mm thick painting compound of white / yellow (lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on newly or previously treated road surfaces) not exc 10cm wide on bitumen road/pavement & on concrete surfaces using hot processor plant & managing traffic control with road safety spikeries glass beads including preparation of newly or previously treated road surfaces and applying paint by using special applicator machine with heating arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 110mm x 120mm x 24mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer’s instructions including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken road stud / cat eye of any type complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Shape of paver blocks shall be as approved by the GE.

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in copings, kneelers, apex stones, kerb stone, bed plates and the like including weathering, slightly rounded, chamfered angle and throating as directed including use and waste of form work (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces/ concrete surfaces, asbestos cement or plaster surfaces over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of priming paint all as specified & as directed.
