Cleaning of sewage line,horizontal or vertical of dia 75 mm to 150mm by rodding, well flushing using adequate/sufficient water and making it clear for smooth flow sewage from WC/ NT/SNT/FT ( at any floor to 1st manhole out side building) including desludging the 1st manhole and cleaning to entire satisfaction of EIC and removing the sludge to a distance out side of MOD land from site ; resetting the manhole cover and making the area neat and clean complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- For the purpose of payment, cleaning of sewage lines and upto including 1st manhole shall be measured as one job)

cleaning of existing drain pipes up to & including 200mm dia at any depth by rodding manually / machanically as required at site from manhole and well finishing after cleaning including getting out sludge if any and liquid materials from connecting manholes deposited the sludge to any distance place outside the defence land at their own cost and cost of removal shall be included in the quoted rates complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge in case requirement of injecting machine is necessary will also be provided by the contractor as directed by engr in charge cost will be included in item no 2.

Note:-(i) Engagement of two sweepers cum sewage drain attendents along with tool and plant required on daily basis for a period of Eleven months for attending the daily sewage related complaints.The complaints will be collected daily by contractor or his accredit agent at 9.00 hours from the office of Engineer-in-charge and will be got signed from unit JCO/NCO for OTM Accn and user occupent of Married Accn after clearing the complaints. No complaint shall be kept pending unattended for a period of more than 24 hours.Any damage to man hole,gully trap,cover slab,CI access doors of CI Pipes of any dia,PVC pipe /fitting, 'P' traps,floor trap during the process of cleaning /clearing shall be made good by the contractor by replacing same by new items without any extra cost to Govt.

Note:- (ii) The sewage line is required to be cleaned by using water jetting machine as directed by Engineer -in-charge .The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall deem included this provision and no extra claim on this account shall be entertained by the department. Jetting machine will be compulsory min three times week otherwise one day recovery will be Rs 10,000.00 deducted.

Cleaning of Septic tanks of capacity upto and including 25 users by removing sludge and sludge water by pumping or manually or by any means and the sludge/sludge water is to be disposed off in covered containers to a distance exc 2 Kms outside the periphery of defence land including taking off and refixing manhole covers.

Excavating in trenches n. exc. 1.5 m wide and n. exc. 1.5 m in depth, for foundation etc. and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in , including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed stoneware, AC or Reinforced concrete) of 150 mm dia, jointed in cement mortar and taking out from trenches and removing debris including concretre bed and haunching from the side outside cantt area.

M&L Concrete bed to drain pipes of bore 150 mm dia including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate.

M&L Salt glazed stoneware drain pipes of bore 150 mm dia grade 'A' laid in trenches in concrete bedding and jointed complete in CM 1:1 all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed stoneware, AC or Reinforced concrete) of 200 mm dia, jointed in cement mortar and taking out from trenches and removing debris including concretre bed and haunching from the side outside cantt area.

M&L Plain cement Concrete ( 1:3:6) type C2 bed to 200 mm bore drain pipes including packing under , and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested ;in complete all as specified.

M&L Salt glazed stoneware drain pipes of bore 200 mm dia grade 'A' laid in trenches in concrete bedding and jointed complete in CM 1:1 all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, any description etc. and removing of the rubbish out side of MOD land complete all as specified .

Demolition Brickwork or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins,arches, pillars,etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified.

M&L Brickwork with sub class "B" bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 all as specified.

All as per item 21 here-in-before but except bricks.

M & L 15 mm thick rendering in two coats on brick work or concrete surface in cement mortar 1:4, surface finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for Cement concrete , complete all as specified.

M & L providing pre-cast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in cover slab of manholes, septic tank, soak well etc set in cement mortar 1:4 with plain fair faces including chamfered weathering, throating etc including necessary use and waste of form work complete.

S & F mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8 mm dia as in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete.

S&F vitreous China wash down water closet pan ( padestal pattern Water Closet, ( excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) , including fixing bolts, connection to drain ( or outgoing pipe) and to flushing pipe , etc., and fixing of seat cover complete fixed in repairs complete all as specified.

S&F (in repairs) Vitreous china, white, Squatting pan ,'Orrisa' pattern size 580x440mm with integral footrests water closet) , front or back inlet complete , connection to drain pipe and to flushing pipe , antisyphonage pipe etc complete including making good to floor to match with the exisitng all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Vitreous China bowl urinal flat back, size of 465x355x265 mm White ( minimum) , with grating and union for discharge pipe , fixed in repairs including connections to flushing pipe and outgoing pipes complete all as specified.

S&F in repair PVC connection 15 mm dia 450 long with PTMT nut at both ends complete.

S & F in repair plastic water closet seat (approved colour) closed pattern with recessed bottom and cover and mild steel chromium plated or aluminium hinging device, complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repair PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with solvent cement joints, fixed to wall/floor/ trenches for the following bore of pipe :-

(a) 110 mm dia bore.

(b) 75mm dia bore

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding, terrazo dado from wall surface (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises. Complete all as specied and directed.

M&L Non skid ceramic coloured designer seamless tiles 7 to 8mm thick area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exc 0.18 sqm,in floors etc.set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the surface over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4.

M&L Glazed ceramic coloured designer seamless tiles 300x450x7 to 8 mm thick on vertical surface as in skirting,dado set and jointed with neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with the surface over and including 15mm thick screed in CM 1:4.
