Providing assistance in various works under Engg. Deptt., PPA on job workbasis in Port Railway Division for two years (2026-28)

Engagement of Skilled workers for providing necessary assistance in different types of jobs as assigned by Engineer in charge in day to day basis under Port Railway Division, Engineering Department, PPA. Since this is a labour oriented job, the bidders shall not quote their rate below the estimated cost put to tender.

N.B: (i) The rate of wages against the above items is as per the approved labour rate of Govt. of India/PPA and will be paid by the PPA from time to time. The Contractor must pay the minimum wages as approved by Govt. of India/PPA during operation of contract. (ii) EPF, ESI, Productivity Linked Reward (PLR) & Gate pass and other Misc. benefits will be reimbursed as per actual on production of supporting documents. (iii) Canteen Allowance @ Rs.80/- per day, Washing Allowance @ Rs.45/- per day, Welfare Allowance @ Rs.60/- per day and Transport Allowance @ Rs.60/- per day, Leave Salary (1 day wages every 20 days of work), Retrenchment @ 15 days wages per year will be paid to the workers and will be reimbursed by PPA. (iv) GST as applicable will be paid by PPA. (v) Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) and Uniform will be as per the prevailing norms, which shall be reimbursed as per the existing rates.
