EARTHWORK IN EXCAVATION Earthwork in excavation for foundation trenches of walls, retaining walls, footings of column, steps, septic tank etc. including refilling (return filling) the quantity as necessary after completion of work, breaking clods in return filling, dressing, watering and ramming etc. and removal of surplus earth with all lead and lifts as directed and specified in the following classification of soils including bailing out water where necessary as directed and specified. Providing soling in foundation and under floor with stone/ best quality picked jhama brick, sand packed and laid to level and in panel after preparing the subgrade as directed including all labour and materials and if necessary dewatering, complete. (a).Brick on flat soling.

Plain cement concrete works with coarse aggregate of sizes 13mm to 32mm in foundation bed for footing steps, walls, brick works etc. as directed and specified including dewatering if necessary, and curing complete (shuttering where necessary shall be measured and paid separately). (a) In prop 1cement: 3 sand :6 coarse aggregate by volume

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position reinforcement bars conforming to relevant I.S. Code for R.C.C. work/ R.B. walling including straightening, cleaning, cutting and bending to proper shapes and length as per details, supplying and binding with 20G annealed black wire and placing in position with proper blocks, supports, chairs, spacers etc. complete. (No extra measurement for lap, hook, chair, anchor etc. will be entertained in the measurement as they are included in the rate) (Upto 1st floor level) (ii)Super Ductile (SD) TMT reinforcement bars

Providing form work of ordinary timber planking so as to give a rough finish including centering, shuttering, strutting and propping etc., height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4.0M and removal of the same for in-situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in: Foundation, footings, bases of columns, pile cap, raft and mass concrete works etc. (b) Using 25mm thick plank

Providing and laying plain/reinforced cement croncrete works cement, coarse sand & 20mm down graded stone aggregate including dewatering if necessary, and curing complete but excluding cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete work (form work and reinforcement will be measured and paid separately) (I) Using Mixer Machine (A) In substructure up to plinth level Foundation, footing, columns with base tie and plinth beam, pile cap, base slab, retaining walls, walls of septic tank, inspection pit and the like and other works not less than 100mm thick up to plinth level. b) M20 grade concrete or Prop. 1:1.5:3

(B) In super structure from plinth level up to 1st floor level. ii) Columns, pillars, posts, struts, suspended floor, roof, landing, shelf and support, balcony, lintel, sill band, beam, girder, bressumer, cantilever, staircase (except spiral staircase and landing ) including preparing the top surface and finishing of nosing. N) Without using admixture, plasticiser b) M20 grade concrete or Prop. 1:1.5:3

Brick work in cement morter with 1st class brick including racking out joints and curing complete as directed. (I) In Sub-structure upto plinth level including dewatering if necessary (b) In proportion 1:4.

Earth/ sand filling in plinth in layers not more than 150mm thick including necessary carriage, watering, ramming etc. complete as directed and specified including payment of land compensation, forest royalty, sales tax and other duties and taxes as may be necessary. (c) With river sand or silt (predominantly non plastic) by truck carriage including loading and unloading.

Providing and laying 25mm thick damp proof course with cement concrete in prop 1:1.5:3 with graded stone agg. of 10mm down nominal size including providing approved damp proof admixture in proportion as recommended by the manufacturer including curing etc. complete as directed.

1st class brick nogged wall in cement mortar including racking out joints and curing complete as directed in super structure above plinth up to 1st floor level (protruding M.S rod/Tor steel of column to be embeded in cement mortar and will be measured and paid separately) (A) 112mm thick brick wall (a) In cement mortar in proportion 1:4. (1 cement:4 sand)

Providing, fitting and fixing powder coated pressed steel door frame made of 1.25mm/ 1.6mm thick sheet of various sizes with necessary hinge jamb, lock jamb, head and steel base ties at the bottom of the frame. The whole frame shall be welded or rigidly fixed together by mechanical means with base ties of pressed mild steel angle of size 20x20x1.25mm thick. Frame to be filled up with 1:4:8 P.C.C. after fitting the frame with brick/ concrete works etc.complete as directed by the department for all levels. (P.C.C. to be measured and paid for seperately). (a) 1.25mm thick sheet (iii) Size 125mm x 60mm (Single rebate)

Providing, fitting and fixing steel windows/ ventilators (openable) of standard rolled steel sections as per relevant I.S. Code-1038 joints mitred and welded with 15mmx3mmx100mm lugs embedded in cement concrete block of M-10 grade including providing and fixing of projecting hinges (not more than 65mm and not less than 15mm wide) bolting device and steel handles, peg stays of 300mm long etc. complete as per drawing including applying a priming coat of red-lead paint.

Providing fitting, hoisting and fixing of roof trusses including purlins fabricated using MS circular hollow section conforming to relevant I.S. code, as per approved design and drawings including providing M.S. cleats, base plates, bolts and nuts and one coat of red oxide Zinc Chromate primer and two coats of approved enamel paints complete including fitting necessary cleats etc. for fixing ceiling joists as per design and drawing as directed. a) TATA make Circular Hollow section- CHS of Grade YST-310 conforming to I.S. Specification : 1161-1998

Providing corrugated galvenised Iron sheet roofing of TATA SHAKTEE / SAIL / JSW steel including fitting and fixing necessary galvenised J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia with bitumen washer 25 mm dia x 3 mm thick and 1.6 mm thick limpet washer complete excluding cost of roof truss, purlin etc. (Roof trusses and purlin etc.to be measured and paid separately). (d) 0.60 mm thick

Providing galvd iron ridging of TATA SHAKTEE / SAIL /JSW steel including supplying and fixing necessary galvd screws/washers etc. complete as directed. (d) 0.60 mm thick (i) 150 mm lapping

Providing and fixing, in position suspended false ceiling using E-Grid (exposed ceiling suspension 2430 system) of grid size 600mm x 600mm/1200mmx600mm with main runner 38 x 24mm, cross tee 29mm x 24mm & wall angle 24mm x 24mm . Using 4mm/6mm thick High Pressure Steam Cured Non Asbestos Fibre Cement Board as per IS 14862, to be placed in a grid of G.I. system duly suspended with 4mm/6mm dia G.I/M.S bar hanger fixed with steel dash fasteners or iron purlin from the roof with adjustment clip providing positions for light fixtures, air conditioning diffuser and ducts, sprinklers, smoke detectors etc. The main runners to be secured to structural soffit by hanger @ 1220mm maximum c/c. The last hanger at the end of each main runner should not be placed at more than 450mm from the adjacent wall. Flush fitting 1220mm cross tee to be interlocked between main runners @ 610mm c/c, so as to form 600mm x 600mm/1200mmx600mm grid, all complete as per the drawing & directions of engineer-in-charge. Finally, if specified, boards are to be painted with 2 coats of acrylic emulsion paint of approved shade/make over a coat of cement primer before installing it on the grid. (A) Standard Ceilings of Everest make or equivalent as directed by the departement (ii) Using 6 mm thick FC Board

Plain cement concrete floor base in prop1:3:6 laid in alternate bays as specified with coarse agg. of size 13mm to 32mm including dewatering if necessary, and curing etc. complete. b) 50mm thick

Providing, fitting and fixing factory made Santro Flush door shutters having core & cross bands fabricated from seasoned 1st class timber, 25mm core battens, 2.5mm to 3.5mm uniformly thick cross bands, styles & rails made from hardwood timber of width not less than 50mm, fixed to the door frames (chowkath) with necessary hinges, screws, bolts etc. as specified and directed at all levels (Door fixtures and fittings to be measured and paid seperately.) (b) 35mm thick

Providing and fixing clear sheet glass beded in putty and fixed with/without wooden bidding including necessary cutting and glass to be required sized(payment for wooden bead shall be made separately) (2). Area of glass panes exceeding 0.15m2 but not exceeding 0.52m2. (b). 4.00mm thick.

Providing Ceramic Tiles of approved quality, size, shape and thickness not less than 8 mm on floors, skirtings, treads and risers of steps over cement mortar bed 15 mm thick in prop. 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand ) including cutting where necessary finished with flush pointing with fix-A Tile Choksey/ Sika/ Pedelite/ Rouf/ White cement slurry mixed with approved pigment to match the shade of granite slab, complete at all levels as specified and directed (coloured pigment should be in conformity with colour of slab and as approved and directed by the Department). b)Executive range Somany/ Orient/Nitco/Asian Make i) Of size 300mmx300mm and above

Providing polished ceramic wall tiles of approved quality, size, shape and thickness not less than 8mm on walls and skirtings over cement mortar bed 10 mm thick in prop. 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand ) including cutting where necessary finished with flush pointing with Fix-A-Tile (Choksey / Sika / Pedelite / Rouf) /white cement slurry mixed with approved pigment to match shade of tiles complete at all levels as specified and directed. (Cement plastering to be measured and paid separately). (Coloured pigment should be in conformity with colour of tiles and as approved and directed by the Department).
