Excavation in foundations,trenches etc in earth work in all kind of soil, such as pick work, jumper work, blasting hard or soft rock by chiselling where the blasting work is prohibited slushy daldal and saturated soil including pumping or bailing out water with in all heights, stacking the excavated soil within all leads clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm (fifteen centimetres) layers, when required into plinths, of foundations etc consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth, as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge with in all leads and lifts.
Providing,Laying, jointing and testing of bavelled ended MSERW zinc coated pipe with circumfrential butt welded (94% but welded and 6% flanged)joints after alternate pipe length by electrical arc welding (welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) of following dia meter & wall thickness confirming to IS/ISO: 3183-2007 of steel grade L-210 or A (latest with upto date amendments) with M.S flanges of the following dia confirming to BIS 6392-1971) (latest with upto date ammendments) of class / table specified below, i/c cutting of threaded portion and provided with nuts & bolts of required size 3mm thick compressed asbestos fibre/synthetic rubber gasket conforming to BIS 2712 and capable of withstanding required test pressure in a random length of 5.5 to 6.5 meters, including manufacturing reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes where ever required duly welded in three layers (two inner one outer) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees, making bevelled pipe ends suitable for butt welding , lowering & laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level complete in all respects to the best satisfaction of the Engineer in charge The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of the pipes and other specials complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. Note:- Negetive Tolerance of wall thickness should not be more than 3%.(The cost of excavation, P/F of MS flanges and accessories shall be measured and paid for seperatly)

Laying, jointing & testing of GMS (plan ended pipe) as per IS 1239 with circumfrential butt welded (94% but welded 6% flanged) joints by electrical arc welding with minimum two layers capable to withstand required test pressure (minimum welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) with M.S flanges of the following dia confirming to BIS 6392-1971) (latest with upto date ammendments) of class / table specified below, i/c cutting of threaded portion and provided with nuts & bolts of required size 3mm thick compressed asbestos fibre/synthetic rubber gasket conforming to BIS 2712 including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/ tapers, all short pieces, bends of required degree as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also include intermediate flanged joints spaced at an interval of 100 meter lengths or where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge dully welded in three layers (two for outer & one on inner side) and all other operation such as cutting, cleaning, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc, lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level i/c flushing, cleaning, and hydraulic testing complete in all respect & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge . The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/L&T or ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipes and all the specials (if damaged during laying & jointing operation of pipe) made from the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.(The cost of excavation P/F of MS flanges with accessories shall be measured and paid for seperatly)
