Supply and Installing, commissioning of 35 KVA DG set, diesel engine,three phase with AMF Panel approved by CPCB-2, having 3445 GM CII with A-1 class mechanical Governor generating 44 BHP@ 1500 RPM, direct coupled with 35 KVA three Phase alternator alongwith following items :-

(A) DIESEL ENGINE :- Diesel engine, 3445 GMC-II water cooled, electric start, four stroke 3 cylinders, turbo charged, compression ignition, totally enclosed diesel engine developing 44 BHP at 1500 RPM at NTP. The engine is suitable for generating set application and fitted with the following standard accessories :- (i) Flywheel to suit coupling. (ii) Suitable coupling (iii) Water cooling arrangement (iv) Radiator (v) Lube Oil filter (vi) Lube oil pump (vii) Fuel pump (viii) Hoses upto fuel tank (ix) Air cleaner assembly (x)Residential heavy duty silencer with glass wool insulation (xi) Engine fitted with low oil pressure (LOP) & high water temperature (HWT) safety devices (xii) Fitted with required temperature and pressure gauges Make :- As per PS clause list of makes/brand and apporval of GE. (B) ALTERNATOR (i) 35 KVA three phase alternator at 1500 RPM 0.8 lagging power factor providing three phase 415 volts suitable 50 HZ , H class insulated winding close direct coupled, Self excited and self regulated type screen protected mounted on rigid MS sheet channel base frame. (ii) The alternator shall confirm to IS 13364, IS 4722, BS5000, IEC :34 and suitable for tropical condition. (iii) Permanently lubricating bearing (iv) capable to bear 10 % over load allowed for one hour for every 12 hour Make :- As per PS clause list of makes/brand and apporval of GE. (C ) CONTROL PANEL Control panel fitted inside canopy fabricated of 1.6 mm CRCA sheet, cubical type totally enclosed powder coated control panel incorporating the following :- (i) 01 No. Digital Engine safety unit comprising the following parameters : (a) Lube oil pressure metering & safety (b) High water temperature metering & safety (c ) Fuel level gauge in % metering & safety (d) Voltmeter and safety (e) Ampere metering and safety (f) Frequency metering and safety and many more metering and safeties. (g) Contactors having Suitable capacity and rating as per OEMs recommendation. --02 Nos (h) MCCB 63 Amps 3/4 pole ,25 KA breaking capacity rating as per OEMs recommendation. -01 No (j) Current transformer of suitable capacity --03 Nos (k) Relays (l) Adequate number of MCBs rating as per OEMs recommendation. (m) Engine starting key switch and Indicating lamps (n) Input & Output terminal for connection of Incoming and outgoing cables etc, Aluminium bus Bar as per OEMs recommendations - 01 Sets (p) SMPS battery charger -01 No.

(D) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE : Floor mounted acoustic enclosure (canopy) suitable for 35 KVA DG set as per CPCB norms of DG set to be provided with following provisions/ specification :- (i) The enclosure fabricated out of 3.15 mm CRCA sheet suitable to accommodate the DG set properly. (ii) The sheet metal components are hot dip seven tank Pre-treated. (iii) It is pure polyster based powder coated (inside as well as outside ) All nuts /bolts/hardware are zinc coated with salt spray test as per ASTMB-117. (iv) Battery is accommodated in a tray in the enclosure. (v) The doors are fitted with gasket with high quality EPON gasketed to avoid leakage of sound. (vi) Sound proofing of enclosure done with high density fire retardant PU foam 50mm thickness of density 32 Kg / Cum in acoustic enclosure. (vii) Special residential silencer is provided within enclosure to control exhaust noise. (viii) Specially designed alternators are provided to control sound at air entry to the container and exhaust from container. (ix) Adequate ventilation to meet requirement for combustion and heat removal. If required a blower is to meet total air requirement and air changes. (x) Temperature of enclosure to be provided not exceeding above 50 degree C of ambient temperature. (xi) The enclosure is provided with high enclosure temperature safety device. (xii) The provision of emergency shut down from outside the enclosure. (xiii) There should be arrangement of proper illumination inside the canopy. (xiv) Noise level should be 75 DB (A) at 1 mtr distance. (xv) Approved by CPCB. As per PS clause list of makes/brand and apporval of GE.

(E ) Accessories :- 1..Base Frame : Suitable base frame of sturdy design with necessary reinforcement and with in built diesel tank . 2. Fuel Tank :- Daily service fuel tank of sheet metal, suitable enough for min 12 Hrs running of DG set complete with drain valve , air vent , inlet , outlet connections 3. Battery : 01 No battery of 12 volt 180 AH charged along with SMPS charger. Note :- (i) The engine of DG set shall be suitable for deration factor to suit the climatic condition of Samnabanj, Udhampur so as to give desired output including 10% over load. (ii) The quoted rate for DG set is inclusive of PCC foundation. The foundation for DG set should be made of PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate below the ground level minimum 300 mm and 200 mm above ground level platform incl re-inforcement bar and of suitable size as per manufacturers recommendations including mounting with suitable fastner /nut/bolts etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) The DG set shall be suitable for auto main failure function (iv) AMF panel should be prefitted by OEM of DG set only. (v) The DHPP (fuel) required for testing of DG sets is deemed to be included in above quoted rate. (vi) Test will be carried out in presence of IEM/EI for no load, 25 % 50%, 75%, 100% for 11 hrs and 110% for 1 Hrs over load. (vii) DG set 35 KVA shall be composite type with AMF panel , Prime mover and alternator and allied accessories in one enclosure. (viii)The rate for transportation from manufacturer,s factory to samnabanj are deemed in the same item. (ix) It is specified that the DG set shall be transported in pieces. The parts of DG set shall be dismatle at factory after inspection by officer detailed for testing and then transfer samnabanj road head by vehicle, from road head the parts of DG set will be carried by manual labour upto installation point for 6 Kms for which charges will be catered in this item. (x ) The rate for dismantling of DG set engine, alternator, canopy, control panel and other accessories shall be catered by the contractor. The parts will be dismantled at factory location and assembled at installation point at samnabanj camp location as directed at site. the parts will then be transfer through vehilce upto smnabanj road head, from road head the parts of DG set will be carried by manual labour upto installation point for 6 Kms for which charges will be catered in this item.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in deep getting out in hard/dense soil for stay assembly/laying of cable/errection of poles etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick.

Removing of excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point.

M & L for dry Sand cushioning in trenches for protection of cable including watering and consolidation all as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness 18 cm shall be considered for measurement purpose.

M & L for well burnt brick sub class B old size laying in trenches perpendicular to axis of the cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches/Floor or fixed to Pole/Wall GI pipe light grade with fitting of size 80 mm bore for protection of cable including dismantling existing pipe complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cutting of PCC/Hard standing/WBM road not exceeding 20 cm in width not exceeding 30 cm in depth for passing of LT cable and making good of disturbed surface to match with the existing surfaces by using old and new material i.e bitumen/PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 complete all as specified and directed .

Material and labour for fixing or passing through pipe, laid in trenches or fixed to pole/wal or fixed to LT panel board, 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable with PVC insulated stranded aluminium conductor served with inner sheathing of PVC tape, armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall PVC sheathed 95 Sqmm 3.5 core with required aluminium cable lugs all as specified and directed. Make of Cable : As per PS Clause list of makes/brand and approval of GE.

M&L for earthing as per IS:3043 with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 32x6mm and as earthing strip protected by GI pipe medium grade 40 mm bore for protection of GI earth strip and 20 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering with alternate layers of charcoal /coke and salt including all accessories like nut, bolts, reducer, nipple, wire meshed/screened funnel and making brick masonry finished chamber of internal size 300 mm x 300 mm x 300 mm with concrete base, covered with PCC cover which shall be embedded in the block masonry including excavation works, refilling, connected to main switch/MCB DB for feeding the electric supply to domestic quarters compete all as specified as shown in electricall plateNo. 3 of SSR Part-I and testing of earth resistance as required. Note : Earthing lead/G.I.Earth wire upto 7.5 metre length shall be deemed to be included in quoted unit rate beyond 7.5 metre, the same shall be measured and paid separately).
