M&L taking down of ceiling fan of size 1200/1400mm for safety checking by replacing defective parts/painting/rewinding and re-fixing the ceiling fan after repairs,all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note:- The cost for replacement of unserviceable parts of minor nature such as screws, lugs, insulation tape, nuts, bolts, washers etc after cleaning the metal surface, greasing/lubricant etc to make it functional and making connection by replacing PVC insulated unsheathed cable of copper conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm from ceiling rose/ connector fan (minimum 0.50 Mtr length) complete all as specified and directed Note:- Taking down defective parts are deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate

Note for item No 2 :- The following are deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate (a) In each job, checking the functioning of fan including its connections, cleaning of fan, greasing of fan and mechanical check i.e. tightening of loose screw, nuts, bolts, etc are inclusive in unit quoted rate.

(b) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having qualified in ITI ( electrician Trade), documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced, before commencement of work.

(c) The entire job will be carried out in Air Force stn Sulur and necessary documents showing qtr No, bldg No supported with user signature shall be prepared as per format directed by Engr-in-charge and will be deposited to concerned JE (E/M) within 24 hrs.

(d) Maitenance of documents ie complaint slip/complaint register & other stationery required shall be of contractor's responsibility.

(e) Necessary T&P such as ladder, required manpower for taking down and refixing after repair shall be of contractor's responsibility.

(f) All types of T&P, PVC insulation tape, minor nuts, bolts, washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by contractor without any cost to the department.

(g) Any fan found defective/not working shall be brought to AGE E/M store yard & re-fixed after repairing.

(h) In case of major defects, entire job shall be completed within 10 days from the date of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @100/- per day shall be recovered.

(j) In case of minor defects, entire job shall be completed within12 hrs from the time of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @ 50/- per job shall be recovered.

(k) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent/ routine works and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.

Supply and fix rotor of ceiling fan of any size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix fan canopies for ceiling fan size of 1200mm/1400mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix gun metal bush of suitable size for ceiling fan 1200mm /1400 mm sweep complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix fan bearing suitable for ceiling fan 1200mm /1400 mm sweep complete all as specified and directed. (bearing with 8 balls shall be used )

Supply and fix down rod for ceiling fan with 15mm dia (of length not less than 45cm and not more than 60cm) with hanging clamps for ceiling fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Rubber reel bushes for ceiling fan of size 1200/1400mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 'U' clamp for hanging ceiling fan with all nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed..

Supply and fix outer body of ceiling fan of any size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix blades (made of aluminum) suitable for 1400mm sweep ceiling fan of any make with set of screws complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix safety pins 40mm to 50mm long with nuts and bolt with washers for ceiling fan of size 1200/1400mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix blades (made of aluminum) suitable for 1200mm sweep ceiling fan of any make with set of screws complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fix down rod for ceiling fan with 15mm dia (of length not less than 90cm and not more than 120cm) with hanging clamps for ceiling fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix down rod for ceiling fan with 15mm dia (of length not less than 180cm and not more than 210cm) with hanging clamps for ceiling fan complete all as specified and directed.

M&L painting the ceiling fan 1200mm /1400 mm sweep with one coat of syntetic enamel paint as per existing colour/ shades and writing the MES No- as directed by Engr in Charge. Note:- (i)Painting of ceiling fan shall be done inside MES complex only. (ii) Taking down and re hanging of fan shall be measured and paid under relevent item here in above seperately.

Material and labour for winding of ceiling fan motor 1200 mm sweep of any make with super enameled copper winding wire of existing gauge (wt of copper winding wire per fan 350 to 500 gms) including cutting and getting out old burnt winding, sleeve work, varnishing with E class insulation varnish, threading, connections with twin core copper flexible wire of size 0.0076mm of length not more than one meter with each fan complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Motor shall be wound with machine inside MES complex only.

Description all as per Sl item No 27 here in above but ceiling fan of 1400 mm sweep

Supply and fixing in repairs of unserviceable energy efficeint Ceiling fan 1200mm sweep(BLDC), energy efficient ISI mark with 5 star rating 230 Volts AC 50 Hz, single phase including provision of fixing arrangement, nut and bolt and flexible 3 core of size 1.5 sqmm not less than 0.5 m long complete including taking down existing one, writing MES No with synthetic enamel paint all as specified and as directed. Make : Havells Model No. Efficiencia DX BLDC or equivalent in Bajaj/ Orient or equivalent approved make. Note:- (a) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum two years from completion of work. (b) Old Unserviceable ceiling fan shall be deposited to MES store yard.

Dismantling carefully solar storage water heating system including taking down old defective parts of any capacity, any type for following works with testing and refixing the same in original position including all water/ electric connection to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge after carry out servicing as under :- (a) Inspection, opening, of all parts, descaling, washing of inner tank with chemical solution and cleaning of outer cover storage tank. (b) Checking water tightness of storage tank after cleaning. (c) Checking and correcting earth continuity of electrical items. (d) Adjustment of reducing valves, checking of dead weight type high pressure release valve and visual check of fusible plug for its intactness. (e) Replacement of damaged solar cells (solar cell shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item) (f) Necessary T&P such as ladder,helper shall be contractor responsibiliy.

S&F in repairs Stop valves, 15 mm Bore of pipe in mm fancy type, chromium plated , high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.
