M&L for Dismantling of ACSR conductors after unbinding from insulators Note:- (i) Total no of conductors in over head line to be taken down shall comprise a maximum of three phase, one neutral ,one street light/security light for measurement length of each conductor shall be taken separately complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of ACSR conductor of size as per site requirement to be drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including binding with insulators. Weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distance between centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag ,jointing jumpers,etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for Painting to existing PCC pole of any type with Black and yellow synthetic enamel paint over existing paint up to 1.5 m height from bottom alternatively strips 30 cm each including painting of ,clamps, nut, bolts with aluminum paint including writing pole number with white enamel paint and 100 mm dia (round) background of blue enamel paint at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for painting to existing steel tubular pole of any type complete with two coat of aluminium synthetic enamel paint from bottom to top of the pole inculding black and yellow paint upto 1.5 Mtr height from bottom alernaterely strip 30 cm each including writing pole number with white enamel paint and 100 mm dia (round) background of blue enamel paint at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for streching and tightning of existing ACSR conductor any size on LT pole 9 mtr long all as specified (one span consists of 5 run of conductor and one run of GI wire) including replacement of J hooks complete all as specified.

M&L for replacement existing worn out /over heated/ multi-jointed ACSR jumpers of LT over head lines with and incl XLPE/PVC insulated 1100 volts multi stranded aluminium conductor single core cable of size 120 sqmm as per colour code in sequence Red ,yellow, blue and black for neutral incl winding with ACSR conductors with suitable size aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and directed . (Length of one jumper not exceeding more than 2.0 mtrs .

M&L for replacement existing worn out /over heated/ multi-jointed ACSR jumpers of LT over head lines with and incl XLPE/PVC insulated 1100 volts multi stranded aluminium conductor single core cable of size 240 sqmm as per colour code in sequence Red ,yellow, blue and black for neutral incl winding with ACSR conductors with suitable size aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and directed .(Length of one jumper not exceeding more than 2.0 mtrs .

Taking out wornout MCCB of any size, any capacity and any rating including dismantling including fixing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.

Supply and fix MCCB with adjustable thermal and magentic setting type Release Range 63 Amps 4 Pole breaking capacity at 415 volt AC 50 Hz, 16 kA complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with Galvanized steel earth plate 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less then 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connected to GI strip of size 32X6 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel incl excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore for protection of GI wire /strip from earth electrode and including supplying and lying charcoal dust, common salt, PCC 1:3:6 type CI (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in chamber and MS angle iron frame 40 x 40 x 3mm and PCC cover 40 mm thick 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) reinforced with 8 mm dia. Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for pole copping around the pole strut above ground level, foundation of stay etc. including neccassory form work and finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement all as directed and specified

Material and labour for PCC 1:2;4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for copping around the pole strut above ground level, foundation of stay etc. including neccassory form work and finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement all as directed and specified

M & L in replacement stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No. 1 all as specified and directed. Note:- (loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation and concrete measured separately

Supply and fix in replacement of stay wire galvanized iron stranded of size 7/3.15 mm,length of stay wire not exceeding 11 mtrs with each stay and fixed to stay and pole including tightening complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing street light sintex box of size 300 mm x 200 mm x 105 mm, made out of FRP sheet with weather proof hinged door including self locking arrangement, out door type weather and vermin proof complete comprising of insulated / high quality PVC sleeves aluminium bus bar of capacity 63 Amps 04 Nos (three phase RBY and black for neutral) with and including 6 Apms MCB single pole, single phase 230 volts, including 25 x 3 mm flat iron mounted on insulators, having arrangement of connecting incoming and outgoing cables complete and all as specified and directed.

S & F as in replacement brackets 1.2 m long made to shape fabricated out of GI pipe Light grade ISI marked 40 mm dia incl provn of socket nipple welded at one end to suit the light fitting and fix to pole including clamps with nuts and bolts of suitable size cutting, drilling and welding its fix to pole and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing PVC insulated copper cable 2.5 sqmm three core multi stranded flexible 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed

Suppy and fix rigid non-metallic PVC conduit 20 mm dia exclusive of boxes (junction/terminal) but inclusive of all tees, bends, elbows, reducers, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trench-less technology using ultrasound technique and necessary machine suitable to pass through 40 to 80 mm bore GI tubing and cable etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and erecting in replacement LT Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9.0) metres long with relevent IS and painting the pole upto 5 feet from ground level with black and yellow alternate strip of 30 CM each with synthetic enamel paint incl removing of broken pole debris all as specified and directed by Enginner-in-Charge. Note:- (i) After commissioning of new pole contractor would liable to connect all the ACSR conductors to the new pole including insulators and cross arms etc inclusive in this unit rate. (ii) Excavation ,PCC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and erecting in replacement LT PCC pole 9 Mts long cross sectional area 102 mm x 172 mm at top and 102x279 mm at bottom class 10 complying with requirement of relevent IS and painting the pole upto 5 feet from ground level with black and yellow alternate strip of 30 CM each with synthetic enamel paint incl removing of broken pole debris all as specified and directed by Enginner-in-Charge. Make - Fabric India Chandigarh or equivalent. Note:- (i) After commissioning of new pole contractor would liable to connect all the ACSR conductors to the new pole including insulators and cross arms etc inclusive in this unit rate. (ii) Excavation ,PCC shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking down carefully galvanized iron steel wire drawn straight horizontal as continuous earth wire on existing LT poles of size 4.0 mm dia from LT over head lines, after unbinding from insulators for replacement incl Restringing/ restretching to dismantled serviceable G I wire complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Replaced G I wire shall be measured and paid under respective item supply only of sch for measurement length of each wire shall be taken separately.

Supply and fix in replacement Galvanised iron steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia,incl tightening and restringing existing loose / broken continuous GI wire 4 mm dia on existing LT over head lines including stringing all as required at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repalcement LT spacer 02 way spiral type made out of PVC material and suitable to work on 1100 volts fixed between 02 conductors in any position along the LT line for any size of conductor along the feeder complete all as specified and directed.Make : Denson/Modern/BEECO

Supply and fix in replacement shackle type porcelain vitreous, white brown or green insulator for working pressure 1.1 kv of size 100mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of section 38 x 5 mm size ,20 mm dia bolt nut and washers complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fix in replacement guy insulator for LT stay, porcelain vitreous, white brown or green insulator for working pressure 1.1 kv of size 110 mm X 75 mm or as per existing shape and size . Complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for Periodical cutting of trees /trimming of branches along the HT/LT overhead lines upto distance of 03 mtrs on either side of the conductors including removing the same and dumping complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Expenditure for necessary tool and plants required for Periodical cutting of trees / trimming of branches along the HT / LT overhead lines are deemed to be included in rate quoted by the contractor. Complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Contractor will arrange the security boards/danger boards (Man at work) at the site, so that prevent from any damaged. (ii) Contractor will liable to cut/trimming the branches within the day after of complaint received.

Laying only, commissioning and testing or passing through pipe, XLPE insulated, armoured, electric power UG cable (Heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade in duct / trenches for small length for extension/replacement of the defective cable or existing temporary cables laid in air of any size and specification , whatever held with Div stock GE (North) Patiala or existing laid for temporary connections, including brass compression cable gland, terminal aluminium lugs etc making connection and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) UG cable will be either issued from Div stock of AGE E/M (N) shall be issued under Sch B or existing laid temporary at site shall make permanent underground. (ii) Excavation, Pipes and bricks for protection, mild steel clamp nut and bolts sand cushioning shall be measured and paid separately

Supply and fixing in replacement LED street light fitting 60 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete withIP 65/66 protection complete, all as specified and as directed.

All as item No. 42 Above but of size 70 Watt.

Taking up or down worn out/ damaged / partly serviceable/unserviceable PVC insulated underground cable, armoured, heavy duty with aluminium conductors of size 10 sqmm x 4 core,1100 volt grade from duct/pole/wall/roof tops etc, testing of cable in the presence of Engr-in-charge to ascertain seviceability,seggregating serviceable and unserviceable cable, keeping aside serviceable and unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for pin point fault locating through vehicle mounted fault locating machine for the HT/LT, 11 KV/440 volts of cable sizes 25 to 400 sqmm 3/3.5/4 core rectifying the same complete all as specified and as directed at site by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Contractor will be liable to rectify the cables fault at urgently basis within the time of fault received for urgent location within the incl rate quoted. (ii) Taking out HT 11 KV/LT 440 volts cable of any size and relaying of serviceable cable after rectification of fault, LT Joint and cable shall be replaced as per site requirements (excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable covers and joints shall be measured and paid separately).Relaying of cable for excavation upto 10 mtr will be considered as a one job (iii) Contractor will be liable to rectify the cable fault at urgent basis witin the time of fault received for urgent location within the stipulated time and rate quoted. (iv) If contractor will failed to rectify the fault within the 24 hours from the complaint received, the penality of 200 Rs/hour will be payable for each job delayed.

M&L for preparing rusted surfaces Painting to existing LT panel board/sub station's door shutters installed in sub stations or installed in indoor/outdoor type of any size complete with two coat of weather proof synthetic enamel spray paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preperation of the surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil including removing green vegetation, roots, bushes,etc from surrounding of LT feeder Boards/Poles/substations etc complete all as specified.

M&L in replacement cable jointing kit for 1100 Volt grade cable end joint indoor type heat shrink type joint complete with jointing meterial and ascessories suitable for 3.5 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 25 sqmm to 50 sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing labour transport and T&P for locating the fault in HT/LT line in OH/UG Line/cable in by visual inspection reaccess of faulty area and repairs to the fault by means of replacement of Unservicible Jumpers / Fuse wires / Burnt lugs / MCCB etc. including restrain of broken/loose ACSR counductors / Earth wire. If required to make temporary connection for fault in HT/LT lines, the cable shall be given by the the AGE E/M store for temorary connection to resume the power supply urgently complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note for serial item no 86: (i) Materials requried for fault repairs will be measured under relevant items included in BOQ. (ii) Contractor will depute the dedicated team and necessary transportation, he will completely responsible for all the safety aspects of his team. No dispute regarding safety of person would be entertain later on. If any mishappening occures during rectifaction of fault in HT/LT lines contractor will be fully liable to bear all the expenses of indls. Special Notes:- (for AMN Dump Barsat and Baffle Range Dhablan) (a) Contractor will provide all set of T & P, communication device (Mobile Phone) to deployed persons, electrcian team for each sub station required for repair of HT/LT Electrical switch gear system including safety equipment such as All type of T&Ps (Bamboo ladders, screw drivers, wire/cable cutters with blades, multi meters, cutting plairs, torch lights etc) for routine maintenance and protection of the trademan incl safety equipment such as Hand gloves, Rubber boots, Sefety belt and helmets etc. (b) On intimation of any type of repair/maintenance work of HT/LT switch gear incomer as well as out going feeder the contractor is responsible to locate the fault by the dedicated team comprising tradesman helpers required numbers as per the gravity /nature of the work involved to restore the power supply and communicate with SBA on duty and getting permit card for working on HT lines and deposit the permit card after rectification of fault, all the activities shall be carried out within reasonable time as given by the Engineer-in-Charge. (c) Contractor will provide necessary complaint slip, complaint boook & permit book, contractor will direct the instructions to indls for lodgging the complaints duly marked the location, time and date for earlier rectifications. (d) After getting the complaints, team deployed by the contractor will rectify the complaints within stipulated time i.e within 2 hours from the time of receiving of complaints. (e) Contractor should also provide a dedicated supervisor for collection of complaints from SBA, JE, USER etc. He would be held responsible, in case complaints are not collected timely.
