OVERHAULING OF ROLLING SHUTTERS AT BPCL CRDC, GREATER NOIDA.

SCOPE OF WORK & ITEM SPECIFICATIONS

A. Location of Site

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. Corporate R&D center is located at Plot 2A, Industrial area,

Village Surajpur, Greater Noida.

BPCL CRDC, Greater Noida has various shed and storages facilities which have rolling shutters.

In the subject tender we would like to carry out overhauling of 14 Nos. of rolling shutter. The

brief scope of work is mentioned below.

C. Scope of Work

The scope of work for overhauling the Rolling Shutters includes the following

1. Taking trail of the rolling shutters by opening, closing and checking the holding position

of the shutter in open condition.

2. Making required arrangements for overhauling of the shutters like making scaffolding or

ladder arrangements till the top of the shutter.

3. Removing the shutter assembly and servicing of the shutter including replacement of

spares/fittings/hardware and spring assembly as per requirement, welding if required,

and refixing the shutter.

4. Install necessary mechanical locking arrangements to ensure proper holding of the shutter

in open position.

5. The smooth trouble-free opening and closing of the shutters to be ensured after

6. The tools and tackles required for the overhauling will be in vendor scope.

7. The vendor will provide twelve (12) months guarantee for the smooth operation of the

overhauled shutters and in case of any operational the vendor will attend the same

without any additional cost.

The quoted Rates shall be inclusive of all consumables, material, labour, transportation, etc. GST

will be paid as applicable.

E. Payments Terms:

The payment shall be made within 30 days the successful completion of the job and submission

of the bills as per BPCL procedure along with all supporting documents. All statutory taxes as

applicable shall be deducted from the bills.

E. Safety & Housekeeping:

1. All the jobs related to this tender have to be carried out inside R&D complex and hence

contractor must follow the gate pass system, Work permit system and other security

systems of BPCL.

2. The contractor shall ensure that all safety guidelines of BPCL are adhered to and 100%

usage of PPE including safety helmets, safety shoes, belts, and area barricading etc. The

contractor must ensure no damage to BPCL’s property.

3. One supervisor shall be present at the site all the times whenever the work is done to

oversee the job safety and compliance of the work permit system.

4. The area must be handed over in clean condition without any leftover material, or debris

related to the above job.

F. COMPLETION PERIOD

The job must be completed within 06 weeks from the award of the job.

G. Liquidated Damage

LD charges will be levied for delay in [email protected]% of the value of the contract per week

subject to a maximum of 5% of the value of contract.

Schedule of Deviations in reference to BPCL SPECIFICATIONS

1. Vendor may give here a consolidated list of technical deviations for all sections of the SPECIFICATIONS,

which for an appropriate offer is considered unavoidable by him.

2. Deviations mentioned elsewhere in the offer shall not be taken cognizance by the COMPANY and any such

deviations if indicated elsewhere other than this form will render the offer non-responsive and shall liable

to be rejected.

3. Vendor shall state the reasons for the deviations in the `Remark' column.

4. All other clauses of the SPECIFICATIONS (not mentioned in this form) shall be deemed to be fully complied

5. Only the deviations listed herein, in conjunction with the SPECIFICATIONS, shall constitute the contract

requirements for the award of job to the vendor.

6. BPCL reserves the right to reject the offer based on the deviations.
