Cutting grooves on portion of the pavement/concrete slab of size 5mm width and 50mm depth with joint cutting machine including arrangement for required machinery like joint cutting machine, power supply and coolant (water) complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge

a) Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth. 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed. a) All kinds of soil.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation / banking excavated or stacked materials. a) All kinds of soil

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m : a) All kinds of soil i) Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia. but not exceeding 300 mm dia

Extra for excavating trenches for pipes, cables etc. in all kinds of soil for depth exceeding 1.5 m, but not exceeding 3 m. (Rate is over corresponding basic item for depth upto 1.5 metre).

Supply and filling in plinth with M-sand under floors including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing etc all complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Brick work with common burnt clay bricks of class designation 5.0 in foundation and plinth in: a)Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Open timbering in case of shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes and the like including strutting and shoring complete (Measurements to be taken of the face area timbered):

a) Depth not exceeding 1.5m

b) Depth exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3m

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : a) Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform

Providing and laying Structured-Wall Plastics Piping Systems for Non-Pressure Drainage and Sewarage, Ashirvad or equivalent Single Stocket Solfit pipe -SN8, confirming to IS-16098. The rate includes jointing of pipes with solvent cement, testing of joints etc complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. a) 200 mm nominal outer dia Pipes

Providing and laying in position ready mixed plain cement concrete, with cement content as per approved design mix and manufactured in fully automatic batching plant and transported to site of work in transit mixer for all leads, having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified grade for plain cement concrete work, including pumping of R.M.C. from transit mixer to site of laying and curing, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing, including cost of curing, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS : 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of the Engineer-in charge.” Note : Excess/less cement used than specified in this item is payable/ recoverable separately. All works upto plinth level : a)M-10 grade plain cement concrete (cement content considered @ 220kg/cum)
