Disconnecting the electric supply to the transformer, opening the transformer by unscrewing bolts from the top cover of the transformer,draining out of transformer oil into a container upto required level for arresting the leakage in the transformer, taking down of unserviceable HV and LV bushes from the transformer if necessary, replacement of top cover gasket, HV and LV side bushes gasket, buchholz relay gasket,bolts, nuts and washers, with new ones required soldering work if necessary while fixing the bushes, and re-fixng the same for transformer capacity ranging from 63 KVA to 250 KVA complete including testing the transformer after repairs all as specified and directed. Note: (i) HT / LT metal studs, HT / LT bushes and gaskets of HT and LT side will be measured and paid for seperately. (ii) Nuts, bolts, washers, petrolium jelly, grease, CTC required are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (iii) Filteration of drained out transformer oil will be measured and paid for separately.

Supply only set of top cover gasket for transformers of capacity from 63 KVA to 250 KVA all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No. 13 above but of capacity 1250 to 1600 KVA.

Disconnecting the electric supply, removing the HT and LT cable connections and taking out the transformer of capacity upto 1000 KVA from the platform, lifting the transformer with suitable crane, loading into the goods carrier and shifting the transformer to an approved factory (workshop) for reairs and transporting back installation in its original location including connection of HT and LT cable connections all as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Note : Repairs to tranformer and testing will be measured and paid for separately

All as per item No. 17 above but of capacity above 1000 KVA and upto 1600 KVA.

M&L for draining out the transfomer oil, removing the inspection cover, lifting the core with suitable crane and removing the winding from the core replacing the unserviceable insulation of LV coil, HV coil and rewinding the unserviceable HV, LV coil turns with new electrolytic copper conductor, drying of core and winding in the oven upto required IR values, assembling the core with new insulation, replace the unserviceable LT, HT bushing washers, oil seal, gaskets of inspection cover with new ones, conduct all testing, commissioning complete upto 100 KVA Transformer all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : HT / LT bush, transformer oil, LV, HV coils, inspection cover gasket and testing of transformer will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

All as per item No. 19 above but of capacity above 1000 KVA and upto 1600 KVA.

M&L for making LT coil insulation with required gauge of craft paper cotton tape as per specification of old transformer of capacity upto 1000 KVA complete all as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

All as per item No. 21 above but of capacity above 1000 KVA and upto 1600 KVA.

M&L for making HT coil insulation with required gauge of craft paper cotton tape as per specification of old transformers capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

M&L for making HT coil insulation with copper wire of required gauge as per specification of old transformers capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

M&L for conducting the following tests after repairs of transformers capacity upto 1600 KVA including submitting the test report. (a) I.R values of HV to LV, HV to Earth and LV to Earth. (b) winding resistance. (c) Ratio test (d) No-load test (e) Short circuit test (f) Dielectric strength of oil (g) Transfomer tap switch positions Note: contractor shall arrange all measuring instuments / equipment for testing of transformer.

Supply and topping up transformer oil conforming to IS: 335 (1993), dielectric strength not less than 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap in various capacities distribution transformers installed at various indoor and outdoor sub stations complete all as specified and directed. Make: Power oil / SERVO / Castrol / Shell.

Dehydration of transformer oil of various capacities distribution transformers installed at various indoor and outdoor transformers with ultra high vaccum filtration machine to obtain the dielectric strength of 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, locating fault in 11 KV HT underground cable of any sizes with the help of fault locator vehicle organized from TSSPDCL/TSTRANSCO by injecting necessary high voltage to the faulty cable within 12 hours of time from time of reporting of fault all as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note : Quoted rate shall deemed to be included the necessary charges towards liaisoning for arranging fault locating vehicle, transportation of trained technicians and charges payable to Electricity Department.

M&L for painting to body of distribution transformers of capacities ranging from 63 KVA to 160 KVA installed at various indoor and outdoor substations with one coat of synthetic enamel Grey / Green (Existing type) paint using spray gun machine after removing all dust and rust complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make of paint : Shalimar / Asian / Berger

All as per item No 29 above but of capacity above 160 KVA and upto 500 KVA

Taking down the defective air breathers from the transformers, supply and fix new breathers with flange type 1/2 Kg bottle suitable for step down distribution transformers of any make and capacity ranging from 63 KVA to 500 KVA including filling of new silica gel in breathers complete all as specified and directed.
