Removing and cleaning the existing joint filling sealant in the expansion/ construction/ dummy joints by running cutting machine with worn/ used blades, cutting the edges of the grooves to a regular straight edge wherever required, preparing the surface for joint filling including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 2km lead and all lifts as per the direction of EIC. Providing and laying in position Thioflex 600 or Shaliseal PS PG two- part Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 , ASTM C920 or equivalent as per manufacture specification. Density of the sealent shall be 1.60 to 1.65kg/lit with 100% solid contenet in expansion/ construction/ dummy joints including rounding off edges, providing back-up using compressed polyethylene foam backup rod to get the required shape and standard depth for filling sealant, applying of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in- Charge & particular specifications. [Note: For purpose of payment, quantity (Length (m) x Width (mm) x Depth(mm)) of Polysulphide sealant only will be measured. The cost shall include all activities like preparation of joint, providing backup rod, primer, sealant etc. For the purpose of payment, the depth of sealant shall be restricted to the standard depth of the joint to be corrected by backup rod]. Expansion joints of size 25mm wide and 10 mm deep over 30mm dia closed-cell polyethylene foam back-up rod, as per manufacturers' specifications. Construction joints of size 10mm wide and 10mm deep over 12mm dia closed-cell polyethylene foam back-up rod, as per manufacturers' specifications. Dummy joints of size 10mm wide and 10mm deep over 12mm dia closed-cell polyethylene foam back-up rod, as per manufacturers' specifications.

Preparing the existing surface of concrete area by cutting and chipping to a proper geometric patterm and cleaning by wire brushing, airblower etc, to remove all foreign contaminants, loosely adhered aggregates, cementitious layer etc to expose clean sound base concrete substrate. The concrete surface shall be cleaned if required with water jet until the surface shall be free from any dust, unsound concrete, grease oil etc., Repair and rehabilitation of existing rigid pavement by applying Nitobond AR or approved pot hole bonding agent and packing and finishing of pot holes with PATCHROC or equivalent as per manufacture specification and all complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge. The application shall be as per the manufacture's recommendation and methodology. [Note: For purpose of payment, quantity (Length (m) x Width (m) x Depth(m)) of concreting quantity only will be measured. The cost shall include all activities like cutting and chipping of rigid pavement in proper geometric design, cleaning the surface, filling with Primer and PATCHROC or equivalent material as per manufacture specification and direction of EIC.

Material for Prepartion of damaged/broken concrete/Asphalt Runway,Taxiway,surface and applying 'RUN-PATCH' self adhesive ,cold applied,polymer modified,hightak bitumious spread sheet of 1 meter x 10 meter rolls having bound strength of 04 MPS,impermeable and low temperature spread of 5.8MM forinstant repair and sealing of potholes/cracks on runway,taxiway for both asphalt and concrete surfaces,special strenghtener-included with the material and forming a high strength water-proof layer complete as all specified as per manufactrer's instructions and as directed. Pothole filling is required with aggregate (cold)if the crack/polhole is more then 6mm. Make: Srijan Pvt Ltd or its equivalent.

Injection Grouting for crack treatment: Preparing the surface by opening the groove size of 20 mm x 20mm and sealing with polyester based repair mortor Nitomortar PE . Supply and grouting of Low viscous epoxy resin Conbextra EP10 or equivalent as per manufacture specification in all the cracked areas. Mixing and injection of grout using mechanical grouting pumps and with GI based NRV packers of minimum 10mm dia used to epoxy grouting. The rate inclusive of all machineries labour charges and fixing the packers with Nitomortar PE. The application shall be as per the manufacture's recommendation and methodology and as per the directions of the Engineer in charge.
