REPAIR MAINT OF CERTAIN ROADS IN AOR OF GE AWC MHOW

Scarifying or picking up gravelled,macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth not exceeding 100 mm deep and removing to a distance not exceeding 50m and all removed from site etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) water bound macadam (WBM), with Granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated with 8-10 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of surfaces of WBM surface with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc and sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to clean the surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bitumenous primer using paving bitumen VG-30 at the rate of 10 kg / 10 sqm over WBM surfaces and M&L for premixed hot mix Asphaltic Semi Dence Concrete using 5.5% binder content (VG-30 Grade paving bitumen) by weight of total mix and with thickness of 40 mm (consolidated Thickness) including rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to uniform and smooth surface and consolidation to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) Laying shall be done by means of self-propelled mechanical paver, finishing with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls with suitable speed and capable of laying, spreading, tamping and finishing. (ii) Mix shall be obtained from computerized hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver only) (iii) The mix shall be designed by job mix formula and approved by GE .(iv) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportation etc for job mix formula and Independent testing during execution of work shall be inclusive in the unit rate quoted and no extra payment shall be made on this account.

M&L for repair to pot holes not exceeding 1 sqm area including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surface in road,path etc cutting around edges at least 25 mm in depth & making good by filling in ,screened and graded road metal,watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg/ 10 Sqm,putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed using power roller of capacity exc 8 tonne but n. exc 12 tonne (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes n.exc 30mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premix bituminous macadam, minimum 50mm thick (Consolidated thickness) in single layer using bindre content as per mix design (min 5.2%) by weight of total mix, with paving bitumen of grade VG-30 having Marshall stability not less than 1200Kg using hot mix plant, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber using mechanical sensor paver and roller of type & capacity all as specified in MoRTH and TI 09/2009 complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (a) Aggregate used in the work shall be obtained from approved source. (b) Minimum content of Cement filler shall be 2% by weight of total mix and dossage shall be as per design mix. No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of filler is used/approved due to design requirement in the execution of work under this item. (c) No price adjustment shall be made for any extra quantity of binder due to design requirement. (d) Cost of testing charges as per IS, preparation of moulds, penetration test, Viscosity test, Bitumen extraction test, Marshall stability test, and core cutting, materials and transportation etc for job mix formula shall deem to be included in quoted rate. (e) Mix shall be from hot mix plant and laying shall be done with mechanical paver. (f) During the laying minimum 02 X water browser shall be available at site.

M&L for preparation of surfaces of existing black top surface with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc and sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to clean the surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bitumineous primer using paving bitumen VG-30 at the rate of 5 Kg/10Sqm and M&L for bituminious premixed hot mix Ashphaltic semi-dense concrete using 5.5% binder content (VG-30 grade paving bitumen with minimum Marshall stability 1200 Kg/Sqcm) by weight of total mix and with thickness of 30mm (consolidated thickness) including rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller and minimum 5Km/hr to uniform and smooth surface and consolidation to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Laying shall be done by means of self propelled mechanical paver, and screed temp minimum maintain not less than 140 degree celcius finishing with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls with suitable speed 5 Km/hr and capable of laying, spreading, tamping and finishing. (ii) Mix shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical sensor paver only.

M&L for preparation of bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc, and like on roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F road studs (Cat Eye) two way solar reflective type of size 100mm x 100mmx 20 mm (min size) and max size according to manufacturer made of ABS material, scratch and abrasion resistant, micro plastic, temperature resistant body fixed on bituminous/concrete surfaces of approved make by GE complete all as specified and directed. (Make - Dark Eye, 3M/Sun Eyes)

S&F metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tap of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B-1 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Solar cat eyes aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125x125x25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10000 to 18000 mcd complete all as per manufacturer instructions etc complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells cesspits, manholes pier holes, etc n.exc 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in hard/dense soil etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates as in foundation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design and pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, of required strength, thickness, & size/shape made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour and pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed. (Note :-Sand cushion shall be measured and paid separately)

M&L sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation spreading and levelling in layers n exc. 50 mm thick. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for glazed finish chequered cement concrete coloured tiles of size 30cm x 30cmx 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry (with gray cement and pigment) after and including 20mm thick in cement mortor 1:6 for fixing tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing precast cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded aggregate ) set in CM 1:4 in road side kerb stones of any shape & size and all other similar works complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old/new concrete kerb stone surfaces and applying two coats of retro - reflective enamel paint of any colours and pattern complete all as specified and directed.
