Earthwork in excavation for foundation of bridge structure (abutments and piers) in all type of classification of soil by all means comprising of ordinary rock, soft/hard rock, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing and in accordance with requirement of MORTH technical specification clause 304 and as per direction of Engineer in charge including seting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal of materials upto all height, all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom including shoring and strutting and pumping, bailing out water (Surface and sub soil water) up to any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials with in all height all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the government.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated PCC M-15(Ten) nominal mix 1:2.:4 ( One cement: Two sand :four graded stone 20 mm(Twenty millimeters) nominal/ reinforced concert in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads , Clause 802,803,1202 and 1203.and curing complete including cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying M15 grade PCC using 43/53 grade Ordinary Portland Cement below foundations and inside the PCC retaining walls as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. The scope of work in the item primarily includes: Cost of providing formwork including its erection, dismantling and removal for all leads and lifts/depth with all required tools and plants. Pumping/bailing out of water wherever required to keep the work area in dry condition, including its labour, material and equipment. Providing and mixing all ingredients of cement concrete including admixtures if required, transportation, placement, compaction, finishing and curing of concrete. The minimum slump of concrete shall be 50mm at the time of placement of concrete. Disposal of all spoils and rubbish for all lifts & leads upto 1000m to keep the work area neat and tidy during execution of work and thereafter. All labour, material, tools, equipment, safety measures, diversion of traffic (where applicable) and incidentals necessary to complete the work to Specifications, within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and placing M30 grade cement concrete (RCC) in openfoundations using 43/53 grade Ordinary Portland Cement, 20mm &down stone aggregate and approved quality sand including the cost ofcentring and shuttering (excluding the cost of reinforcement only whichshall be paid separately) with all leads, lifts/depths and all complete asper the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender documentand MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. Thescope of work in the item primarily includes:Pumping/bailing out of water wherever required to keep the work area in drycondition, including its labour, material and equipment.Designing and getting approval of the design and drawings of formwork andtemporary structures from the Engineer-in-charge well before start of work atthe site.Providing and placing centring and shuttering including its erection, oiling(with approved shuttering oil), dismantling and removal for all leads andlifts/depth with all required tools and plants.Providing and mixing all ingredients of cement concrete including admixturesif required, transportation, placement, compaction, finishing and curing ofconcrete. Item to include all labour, materials, tools, equipment, safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work to Specifications. Measurement shall be made for actual length of weep holes.

Providing weep holes in PCC retaining walls with 100mm dia AC/PVC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards draining face as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. Item to include all labour, materials, tools, equipment, safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work to Specifications. Measurement shall be made for actual length of weep holes, within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing laying and compacting filter material behind retaining wall/toe walls complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 305,2504.2.2 and accordance to the MISP and C-ESMP, within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and placing in position M40 grade cement concrete (RCC) inthe cast-in-situ superstructure (i.e.longitudinal beams, crossbeams and deck slab) using 43/53 grade Ordinary Portland Cement,20mm & down stone aggregate and approved quality sand as per theDrawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document andMoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. The item shall also include cost of 150mm dia PVC pipes placed inside the footpath/crash barrier as service duct for services. Providing and placing in postion TMT(Fe 500 grade) reinforcement bar confirming to relevent ISI specifications i.e. SAIL,TATA & RINL for in foundation and substructures elements of the bridge including cutting,straightning bending wires of 18 SWG,fixing in postion complete as per drawing and technical specification and MORTH specification clause 1600 for road and bridge work.The scope of work in the item primarly. 12.1 The reinforcing bars shall be free of scale and rust before placing intoposition. Any reinforcement, which is certified as corroded by the Engineer-in-charge shall either be withdrawn from the site or sand blasted to make themfree from rust at no extra cost. 12.2 Welding and hot bending of bars shall not be permitted. 12.3 Making bar bending schedule and getting approval of the same from theEngineer-in-charge well before cutting of bars and fabrication of reinforcementcage. 12.4Disposal of all spoils and rubbish for all lifts & leads up to 1000m to keep thework area neat and tidy during execution of work and thereafter. 12.5 All labour, material, tools, equipment, safety measures and incidentalsnecessary to complete the work to Specifications. 12.6 measurement:Reinforcement shall be measures in length including hooks if any,separately for different diameters as actually used in works,excluding overlaps.From the length so measured the weight of reinforcement shall be calculated in tonnes on the basis of IS:1732,Wastages,overlaps(for bar splicing)coupling spacer bar,chairs stays hangers and annealed steel wire or other method for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.The rate including sale tax,octroi,royality,toll tax,labour cess or other taxes immensed by the government and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

BEARINGS, APPROACH SLAB, EXPANSION JOINTS, DRAINAGE SPOUTS & WEARING COAT: Providing, testing and installation of Elastomeric bearings as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRT&H)/Indian Road Congress (IRC) Specifications for Bridge Works and IRC: 83 (Part II). Item to include all the operations required for installation of bearings, all the materials, labour, equipment and incidental work required to execute the job. The bearing design and drawings shall be got approved from the Engineer-in-charge well before start of the fabrication of bearings. The bearings shall be tested as per the provisions of IRC: 83 (Part II) in the presence of authorized representative of the Department. The installation of bearings shall be done in the presence of authorized representative of the bearing manufacturer who shall certify the quality of work. Measurements shall be made for finished volume of the bearings in cubic cm., within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and placing in position M30 grade cement concrete (RCC) in cast-in-situ approach slab using 43/53 grade Ordinary Portland Cement, 20mm & down stone aggregate and approved quality sand as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. Item to include all types of shuttering, bitumen filler type joint between approach slab & dirt wall all complete. Item to include all labour, materials, tools, equipment, safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work to Specifications. The minimum slump of concrete shall be 75mm at the time of placement of concrete. Measurements shall be made for the finished volume of concrete only. Item to include cost of reinforcement (12mm dia.bars @ 150mm c/c bothways on both faces) also which shall be included in the quoted rates and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and installing single cell strip seal expansion joint with a total allowable movement capacity of 70mm as per Drawings, MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, IRC: SP: 69-2005 'Guidelines & Specifications for Expansion Joints' and duly supplemented with manufacturer's recommendations. Entire installation is to be carried out strictly in the presence of manufacturer's representative only at all times who shall certify the quality of work. Item to include necessary provision and filling of recess for the expansion joints at no extra cost. The seal of the expansion joint shall be such as not to permit any dust collection at all times. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/equipment and incidental work required to complete the job. Measurement shall be made for the actual length of expansion joint provided and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing drainage spouts as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/equipment and incidental work required to complete the job. Measurement shall be made for actual number of drainage spouts provided.within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning & preparing surface and providing & applying the Tack Coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg/sqm as per MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/equipment and incidental work required to complete the job. Measurement shall be made for actual surface area of application in square meter and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 40mm thick Bituminous Concrete wearing coat with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works Clause 509 complete in all respect. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/equipment and incidental work required to complete the job. Measurement shall be made for finished valume of Bituminuous Concrete in cubic meter and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 25mm Mastic Asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirements given in Table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of 13.2mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces is not less than 100oC, protruding 1mm to 4mm over mastic surface, all complete as per MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/equipment and incidental work required to complete the job. Measurement shall be made for actual surface area of application of Mastic in square meter and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying of Filter Media with granular materials/stone, crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works to a thickness of not less than 600mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind PCC retaining walls to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per the Drawings and Specifications. Item to include all labour, materials, tools, equipment, safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work to Specifications Measurement shall be made for actual compacted finished volume of filter media and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, placing and compacting approved fill material in the embankment/approches as per the Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. Item to include 500mm thick sub-grade construction as per MORTH Specifications with CBR under soaked conditions not less than 7%. The filling shall be well compacted in layers not exceeding 200mm in thickness and to atleast 97% of modified proctor density as per IS: 2720 (Part 8). Item to include breaking clods, watering, rolling and compacting with approved roller as per the MORTH Specifications. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/equipment and incidental work required to complete the job. Measurement shall be made for the finished volume of fill and sub- grade placed in position., within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting 250mm thick Water Bound Macadam over GSB as per the MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/equipment and incidental work required to complete the job, and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting specified graded sand, stone aggregate or any other coarse material as per MORTH specifications (Table 400-I) gradation-I of C.B.R. value not less than 30 in upper granular sub-base course 100mm thick including mixing the material to OMC, spreading with motor grader on a prepared base compacting with vibratory road roller to achieve the desired density including all materials, labour, machinery, etc. complete. Item to include all incidental work required to execute the job as per MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting specified graded sand, stone aggregate or any other coarse material as per MORTH specifications (Table 400-I) gradation-II of C.B.R. value not less than 20 in lower granular sub-base course 150mm thick including mixing the material to OMC, spreading with motor grader on a prepared base compacting with vibratory road roller to achieve the desired density including all materials, labour, machinery, etc. complete. Item to include all incidental work required to execute the job as per MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing & applying the Prime Coat as per MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface including clearing of surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/equipment and incidental work required to complete the job and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 50mm thick Bituminous Macadam as per the MoRT&H/IRC Specifications for Road and Bridge Works with 100- 120 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve desired compaction. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/equipment and incidental work required to complete the job and within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 25mm thick Semi Dense Bituminous Concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 to 5 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per the MORTH Specifications clause no 508 complete in all respect.
