Work Description

i) Supply and installation of voltage Monitoring relays, Timers, Auxiliary contactors with add on blocks, Auto/Manual selector switch, push buttons ON,OFF and RESET as per site requirement ii) Supply of 1.5 sqmm copper cable, wiring accessories, terminal blocks as per site requirement iii) Control circuit wiring for Automation of 4 Nos. of 2000A Unit auxiliary ACBs (U-2, U-4, U-5 & U-7), 2000A Bus coupler breaker & 800A DG breaker along with interlocking of six breakers at LTAC panel as per site requirement iv) Testing of operations of all the ACBs of LTAC Panel.

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The Tenderer is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of eProcurement Portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at Tenderers end

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

For successful bidder, the EMD will be returned, only after entering into agreement and furnishes the contract performance guarantee in an acceptable form

EMD furnished by the bidder will be forfeited in case the bidder withdraws the offer during the validity or violates any clause stipulated in the bid

Tenderers shall not be under declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by the Government of Karnataka

If the Tenderer makes any alterations in the conditions of the contract or puts any condition of his own, such tenders are liable for rejection

KPCL reserve the right to reject any or all tenders received without assigning any reason

Rates shall be quoted in Price Schedule (Financial bid) in the website itself and not upload the same in technical bid, failing which Tender will be rejected

Tenderer shall quote rates exclusive of GST

The original documents should be produced for verification at any stage of tender process as and when sought for, failing which, the bids are liable for disqualification

The Tenderer shall obtain insurance coverage for all the workers deployed for this work

KPCL shall recover the Income Tax at the prevailing applicable rates

Any other job not specifically mentioned but reasonably implied to be executed for satisfactory completion of the job in all respects shall have to be carried out by the Contractor without any extra coast. Decision of Engineer-in-charge shall be final and binding in this regard

Corrigendum / modification / corrections, if any, will be published in the eProcurement Portal web site only

Bidders are advised to visit the work site ie MGHE Power House, Jogfalls 577435 before bidding to obtain hands on information, about the quantum of work involved, from the concerned division head

Technical Criteria

Past Experience

The bidder shall be a regular manufacturer/supplier/firm/agency and shall have proven experience in the field of supply and installation or Automation of Control panels/ Relay panels/ LTAC panels/ LT Breakers to power utilities or any other reputed organizations. In proof of the above, at least one work order copy not less than 2.77Lakh and corresponding work completion certificate/work done certificate issued from the competent authority during the previous five years shall be furnished.

Others -- Relevant work order/s copies and work completion certificates for the above shall also be uploaded in the e-portal.

Financial Status

The Bidders in the last five financial years (2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26) should have achieved in at least two financial years an average annual financial turnover of Rs.5.54Lakh. In proof Annual Report/turn over certificates duly certified by chartered accountant shall be furnished
